Welcome to the world of Darkened Horizons.
This roleplay is centered around a conflict that does not take place on Gaia and it will not feature the player characters in any pivotal 'man from destiny' aspect that requires them to be solely responsible for the fate of a world. The story involves many of the NPCs that you will encounter along the way and they may become allies or enemies depending upon your choices. Although the featured plot characters may be mine to control I am merely the script writer and the director of this story, the players shall fill the role of the main characters and it is their successes and their decisions that will shape the outcome of the story.
Will you join forces with rebels or side with a monarch? Is it better to attack an enemy before they become a threat or try to bargain with them as a potential ally? The director will provide the circumstances but it is up to you to make the decisions. How you adjust to your surroundings in an unfamiliar world is only the beginning.
