It had been rough since they'd returned from the facility--all these new things popping up left and right. Go figure he'd completely forgotten about the assignments this month, and with so much going on in the human world, he had to keep on his toes to make sure everyone was where they needed to be.

He hadn't spoken to a few of his members in quite some time...Including his second in command and the tom's mate. They were long-time friends, so it was difficult to think that they hadn't been able to barely communicate, what with his children wandering around free again and a few other happenings that came along with 'Christmas' and such.

He also hadn't had a chance to speak to Mei and SeungRi very much...which was funny in a way, seeing as they were main babysitters of his children. JiYong usually took care of that sort of thing, or Leila...he had been keeping to himself a lot lately, probably trying to get over the memories of The Facility and what had happened to his children.

Tempo had posted the note just the other night, so he wasn't sure who would come and who wouldn't. The forest cat would just meet here every morning for the next few nights...not a big deal, right? Now to wait, even if he didn't want to be up right now.

User Image

Gah, why did he have to be up this early? It was torture, he'd decided. Tempo either wanted to meet early in the morning or late at night...the two times he'd prefer to be sleeping over anything else.

Making his way from his bedroom towards the meeting place, SeungRi rubbed at his eyes, wondering of Mei was going to come or not. He'd poked at her for a bit, but no one ever knew with her anymore. She slept just as deeply as he did, and even then, he figured she beat him when it came to difficulty to wake up.

Crossing the bridge to the center island of the lake, he smiled blearily when he spotted Tempo, then looked around to see if anyone else was present.

Sunrise? Surely Tempo was joking--HeeChul didn't DO sunrise. It took a lot of effort from SiWon and a bit of a tiff, but the two were moving towards the meeting to make sure that they were not late. The redhead had made himself look as good as possible for that time of day and yawned a little as they made their way.

"Tempo," Came his slightly irritated voice, "Do you have any idea what -time- it is?" He loved the other like a brother, someone that he play fought with and one of the only cats that could get away with messing up his hair or talking back to him. But it was too damn early and HeeChul needed his beauty sleep!

He moved to sit on a rock, crossing one leg over the other and watching him with both curiousity and mild annoyance. "You're lucky you're such a good leader." He grumbled. He didn't mean any harm, it was HeeChul's way of complimenting him. What he really meant was that the other was such a good leader that he was worth the lack of sleep. HeeChul just didn't actually say words like that.

SiWon frowned a little at the way that HeeChul spoke. He knew the other was just being himself, but it wasn't -that- hard to be polite was it? The younger cat moved to sit on the grown next to the other, one of his hands on his lap as he gave him a reassuring smile. Things would be fine.

"It's been a while, Tempo-hyung," He bowed his head in a respectful manner. The other was older than him, he had no problem showing his respect for him. It was more than age, the elder cat made sure that all of them wre well taken care of. "I hope things have been going well."

Though their territory was a bit busier, it was also calm in a strange way. Mainly because they had secured the kittens and managed to make sure that they were safe. He was happy to have the situation over with. The large dogs, the creepy humans, the awful smells.. Now they were all part of the past.

Tempo grinned at SeungRi, giving a tired wave of his own before looking up to SiWon and HeeChul as they came through.

Chuckling at the red head, Tempo sighed and waited for them all to sit down--probably just three for the morning, not too surprising. That was okay though, a good chunk of their territory seeing as they were pretty tiny compared to some.

"You can go back to sleep after this, Chullie," he cooed playfully, bowing his head to SiWon in return respect for his second in command. JiYong wasn't even here--that said something about how wussy he was when it came to waking up his own lover. But the forest cat was in charge of the territory as a whole, while JiYong was just his right-hand man when it came to smaller things...and watching the kids at this point.

"Glad you all could make it, even if it is a bit early," he grinned at HeeChul, then glanced over to SeungRi between words. "SiWon you usually know your assignment anyway...but it's been pretty busy," Tempo was a little too tired to be talking to a group of other cats, but he'd try to at least sound convincing.

"But first...is there anything anyone wants to talk about? I know I haven't been around everyone in a while since my kittens were recovered..had to help Ji and Leila adapt as well as the babies," who were doing better than JiYong and Leila he had a feeling, since they were all parents and very...protective, overly so now that they knew everyone's disability and difficulties with who and what. "And...I wanted to thank everyone, too, for helping recover the kids. It means a lot to me."

SeungRi looked up to see the other two toms approaching, not quite used to them just yet. He was still pretty new to the territory, so he didn't know everyone as well as he'd like to...but he knew SiWon was pretty friendly, and also knew to not mess with HeeChul...ever. But the red-head had been pretty kind to him so far, despite SeungRi apparently being 'annoying' at times, or so Tempo says.

Really, the pixie-bob had nothing to talk about. He smiled to Tempo when he thanked them for helping recover his babies, who were also part of the territory, part of the family...but said nothing, being the youngest here, he would wait to speak till last. At least he knew his place, right?

Of course HeeChul would always take the oppertunity to voice his opion. He never kept himself quiet and that was just one of his many 'charms'. He was very blunt, but at least he could be trusted to be honest. He wouldn't hide his feelings--or even try to. At least not ones like these. "Of course we would help you," He brushed some of his hair behind his shoulder and crossed his arms over his chest again.

"Those little kittens need to grow up to be just like their Aunt HeeChul. They'll be gorgeous and everyone will love them. But of course there is always the burden of being as beautiful as I am. Never get any free time away from those admirers." He gave a dramatic sigh as he looked towards SiWon. He was just teasing him, though.

"As for something to talk about, I have heard rumors of an old friend of mine wondering about. If I find him, can he stay here? He's a precious little Dongsaeng.. A lot like Riri. I don't want him getting hurt, and this would be the safest place for him." He tilted his head a little.

It was hard not to grin at the way HeeChul was talking. The other amused him greatly. He nodded his head. "They are our family too, Hyung. I'm just glad that we were able to help you in some way." He moved hold HeeChul's and and in a rare moment of contentment the redhead let him. It was rare to get contact, he was happy then.

"I hope that I've been doing well as far as the assignments go. I've been keeping my eyes out.. but really, I haven't seen a single human come near here. I think that's probably best." He nodded his head. They didn't know who they could trust anymore. The last thing they wanted was another incident.

He gave HeeChul's leg a slight nuzzle and smiled at their leader. "Is.. JiYong doing okay?" He was fond of their leader's mate, he saw him as a good friend and knew he must have been having a really hard time with the kittens.

Achilles hasn't really been sticking to his cozy little bush in the park like he usually does. Lately, the young Tonkinese has been sniffing around a bit, trying to get a feel for the city, and a feel for life as a stray in general. So far, it hasn't been easy doing things all by himself.

The young teenager happened to wander upon a small note while exploring the very edge of the city, away from all the busy traffic and crowds of people. It read 'To: Newest members of The Ruins'. "The Ruins?" Achilles spoke softly to himself. Interest was dripping from his voice like hot wax melting off a candle. "A meeting to everyone new..." he read out loud as he skimmed the paper.

Maybe this was an opportunity for Achilles to finally find a stable place to settle down. If not, at least he would meet a few people. It'd be much more delightful to have friends. So the young tom finished reading the note. His eyes widened when he came to realize that the sun was already rising and he was probably late. Did that mean he should still show up? He wasn't to sure. It would be rude to show up late, but how could he be willing to risk this chance? He wasn't.

Quickly, the boy raced along, eyes searching for any sign of a lake. It said to meet by the lake, but where on Earth was that? Minutes passed and it seemed like hours before Achilles finally stumbled upon the seemingly obvious lake. "Ah, there..." he glanced around, spotting the place that was mentioned in the note, or at least that's what he assumed, because already there were other cats standing around conversing.

All the sudden his stomach turned to knots and his tail clung tightly to his body. Clear signs of nervousness were shown as he tip toed up to the group, keeping his steps light and quiet. What if he was unwelcome here? Well, that's not what the note said. He'd just have to man up and be courageous for once. "E-excuse me," his not so mighty voice spoke out to the group, "is... is this the meeting for The Ruins?" He kept his distance, but his ears were open to hear an answer.

The entire kidnapping ordeal had taken its toll on Leila. She was not as old as the others, not as experienced, not as wise. Not like age made much of a difference in a situation like this. Everyone was stressed and worried sick about the predicament, some more than others.

Was she the one that worried over the kittens the most? Perhaps, but she had reason to be. Leila had given birth to them, held them in her stomach for months. There was a special connection between her and the litter. She loved six of them very deeply, always poised to pamper and care for them whenever and wherever. When the news of their kidnapping had reached her, Leila was stupefied. Members could have spotted her walking around like a zombie, face blank. Then the worry set in. The blond constantly paced around the place, wringing her short and fidgeting. She panicked. She stressed, and it was damn noticeable. It seemed like she had added on a few years to look in the span of a few months. She couldn’t even fight well enough to help. What kind of cat was she? Just standing there, worrying and waiting.

Then came the time when finally, her children had come back to her. Yet the humans had done horrible things to them, changed them. Leila wept, but still loved them as much as before. However, she was more vigilant, more careful. Things would never be quite the same.

She had spotted Tempo’s notice fairly late. It was only luck that the Himalayan had decided to rise early today. After checking up on the six, she ran over to the lake, already noticing the small group that had gathered. She slowed to a halt, clapping her hands together and bowing her head in apology. “Am I late? Sorry! Just saw the announcement, and uh . . .”

Marshall wasn't ever one to check for things, Tonight he was rolling awful late from fixing up the shack he used to live in for belle and spending time with his beloved Impulse, He hadn't even read the note, He frowned noticing that there was a group of cats all circled around Tempo. " s**t... I must have missed something important" The young tom muttered to himself as he walked towards the group, He bowed his head once he reached the circle, inwardly cursing himself for not being around more, he had been so caught up in fixing up everything for his little sister, Trying to snag as much of Impulse's time as possible and painting the Ruins that he didn't even know about the other males children. "Tempo" He muttered turning his blue green eyes up to the males. He muttered as respectfully as possible. He was just hoping that he hadn't walked in on something he wasn't invited to, " Seem's I'm the last one here... I'm sorry." he added noticing that everyone around here was in the territory. He slipped his hands into his hoodie and looked at his feet. He was starting to feel worse about being the last person he recognized here.

But alas, Marshall wasn't the last person, the last person just happened to be still in bed. When Ri had poked her the female had so little much as twitched a ear. Tempo knew most of the cats in his territory weren't morning people, so why the hell had he decided early morning would be wise?

The cat stretched her arms in front of her, barely on the verge of waking up, her claws stretched, searching for the warmth that was usually curled up to her. With a disgruntled sigh she thought of the meeting. Did she really have to go? With a sigh she threw back the blanket and sat up, a string of unpleasant words forming on her lips, mainly adding up to Tempo being a idiot.

Jeans and tank top later the female found herself standing outside by the lake, plainly annoyed. She heard Marshall's mumbled apologies and shook her head, it was their leaders fault for picking a faulty time. Mei passed the men with an exaggerated sigh, waving to Leila before flopping down on top of Ri and kissing him. Pulling back to look at Tempo she narrowed her eyes.

"Ive got something to say, I wish you would schedule this for anytime other then morning." The female obviously didn't know her place, and also obviously didn't give a s**t.

Well look at that, more cats seemed to show up. Looking to SiWon when he questioned about JiYong, the tom's ears folded back and he ignored the comment for the time being, looking up towards the cats as they filed in and took a seat. Upon seeing Leila he smiled at her, cocking his head and motioning for her to come sit next to him. He'd grown pretty close to the Himalayan, came with helping her raise the children and with JiYong being somewhat out of the picture lately...it was difficult.

The newcomer surprised him however, his ears perking and his fur bristling in a protective manner. he wasn't quite as...lenient with newcomers as he used to, came with not being so trusting anymore.

"Yes, this is for the Ruins," he mumbled, intertwining his own fingers and resting his elbows to his thighs. "Are you interested in joining? You're welcome to sit for a little while, but if you dont want to join, then I'll have to ask you to leave..." He mumbled, slowly bringing himself to stand in front of Achilles. He was quite a large cat, towering over most and obviously outweighing most even if he looked pretty lean.

"I'm SeungHyun--Or Tempo, call me either. This is my territory," he motioned to SiWon, "That's SiWon, second in command...the others you'll meet soon enough." He had other things to deal with currently, though. So he moved to sit back down and motioned for Achilles to sit as well, he'd ask the kid again if he wanted to join after a little bit more talk.

Eyeing Mei when she said he shouldn't have meetings in the morning, he shrugged, "I dont like it either, but this is kind of important," smiling as best he could manage to Marshall, Tempo waved him off slightly, "It's okay...sit. We have a lot to discuss and not a lot of time before the kittens get up."

Seeing all of these new cats coming into view, the poor Tonk started to feel overwhelmed. Maybe coming wasn't such a good idea for him. He was a bit afraid of crowds, and most of all strangers. A crowd of strangers was killing him slowly. The thumping in his chest was so loud, he thought the others could possibly catch the beating of it. Calming his nerves the best he could he turned his attention to Tempo. Oh, how he was so big! It seemed as though he could easily squish Achilles if the tom wanted to. "I... yes. I just saw the note and I-" he was quickly interrupted from his babbling as the man continued to explain how he could take a seat. If he wasn't interested he was required to leave. "Oh, no... I don't wanna go just yet... I'll just um..." he looked around on the grass, wondering where it would be appropriate for him to take a seat. He didn't want to make a wrong move. That was the last thing he wanted to do. To upset Tempo and the group.

As Tempo stood in front of him he seemed to eclipse the sunrise. Either Achilles need to grow a lot more or Tempo was a giant. Probably a bit of both. "I see, SeungHyun- Uh... Tempo..." He tried to use both, names on purpose, just to see how the other would react to each. If he preferred one over the other he would try to use that instead. As the leader introduced SiWon, Achilles couldn't help but notice his lack of clothing. "Hello," he gave a sheepish wave before taking notice of Tempo's gesture. He should sit down now. So, of course he did, taking a seat near Tempo, for he didn't know the others all that well and was a bit afraid to mingle.

Leila thought that she was one of the last to arrive, having believed that she arrived tardy. She was far from being the final cat to come running though. A couple other boys and a colorful girl arrived soon after she did. Neither of them the Himalayan was very familiar with, but at least managed to spot them a few times to casually hear their names through conversation. Both of them appeared to be quiet, but didn’t seem very alike to the other. One seemed serious-quiet while the other shy-quiet. On the other hand, the girl wore bright colors and was more talkative than the two. As they appeared, Leila politely smiled at them with an innocent tilt of her head, amiably waving at them.

She looked over at Tempo as he motioned for her to sit by him. A large grin graced her face and she happily skipped over and plopped down by the group leader, reassuringly beaming at him. She was far from completely recovering from the recent incident, but things would be okay. Right?

“For anyone who doesn’t know, I’m Leila! Nice to meet you!” she introduced herself with a brief bow.
