Yeah, I'm a hobo.
Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong story short, Fight with dad. He got physical. I left. I don't feel safe or welcome in my own house. I ended up walking around until five thirty in the morning after which I slept in a sleeping bag outside because I was locked out of my house. My mom brought out half a roll of toilet paper and told me that if I had to go, that there was a shovel in the shed. I'm not having that. Currently, I am at my friend's house. His parents are letting me room in the guest room for the night. I don't know what I'm going to do. I don't have many options. I'm not sure how long I can stay with my friend and I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I am by every technicality now homeless. I have gotten no word in over two months from the military. I'm going to try to look for a job in walking distance from his house if his rents let me stay. I hope they do. My house is hell.

I'd ask around your church for help. Surely someone's willing to house you until you can get a job and fend for yourself? Either way, I'll be praying for you, man. God bless.

Ouch. Well, I guess all you can do is pray about it, and remember that "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." - Luke 9:58. If Jesus managed it, then so can you, with His help.

Lots of biting my tongue. If that adage was literal, I would be mute. I am back at my house. I'm just biding my time, and trying to hustle my recruiter to hustle Fort Rucker to give me my results. Hustle. I'm probably gonna get a job at the Subway down the street to get out of the house and to get more than $15 a week (if that) from working at my church. Dad hasn't changed, but we are starting with a clean slate. I have innerwebz again. I just realized. I'm typing really directly. Short sentences FTL.
Pray that I can put up with my father and not have to leave again....
And thank God for friends who open their homes for me. Like I said, I stayed at my friend's on Thursday, and Thursday I stayed at my neighbors whom i have known since I moved here over a dozen years ago. My brotha from anotha motha mrgreen

God really has plans for us biggrin
About your old man, try to convert him to a real "Christian" not only for you sake, but also God's. Attempting to convert him now would not be so effective , so you have to wait for the right time. I'll be praying for you and your dad.
God bless, Zarfione

I've confronted him on the issue a couple of times, and he is convinced that he is, but I believe that he has no real understanding of what it means. If he really is, then he is as luke-warm as you can get....
