The day had only just started and Koka was already out and about, but so was her mother. She was out by the rivers close to their den - it was a rather large den at that, carved into the stone deepy. It arched slightly upwards then back down into a little basin.
It was neat, Koka though. She stood at the entrance, just at the base of the den, looking about. Her blue tipped tail waved amusingly in the air as she watched a dragonfly hover close to her, zipping about and then hovering for a second.
She pounced at it, and watched as it zipped away again before pausing, a grin upon her white maw.
Kya excited the den with a yawn. She often slept late but today she was up early it was kinda odd for her. As she came out of the mouth of the den, she tripped over her sister who was attacking the dragon fly. "Hey" she growled angerly, at her sister.
Kya wasn't a nasty pup, she jsut wasn't into mornings, and she was rough by nature, so her sister being in her way just threw her off. "Did you ever think that perhaps sitting at the opening of the den was a bad idea Koka?" she asked her sister. She felt bad for being growly with her sister, but at the same time, she had a feeling her sister wouldknow it was all jsut words.

The white-faced pup just giggled. Unlike her sister, she loved mornings and getting up early. She loved the sharp cool air from the morning, and the wet dew beneath her paws. "I was just playing, Kya-ya~" She said happily. "Besides, I was pouncing, not sitting." She gave a smile to her sleepy sister.
Suddenly, the tri-colored pup frowned. "Did I wake you, Sister? I didn't mean to," She told her sister sincerally walking over to her purple sister. She slightly brushed against her sister in apology. Despite her being young, she was already probably more huggy then others, and she felt the need to reassure with touches or slight bumps of muzzle or taps.
It probably made her feel better more then it did the other, but she hoped she got her point across.
Kya couldn't help but smile a little, she may be grumbly but she could appreciate her sisters appology. "Its ok." she mumbled. She hated to show her softer side, but as she woke up a little more she was getting more energy.
"Food" she said, "food and it will all be good". Kya opperated on few emotions most of the time, and being a pup meant that she often likes to eat, play, sleep repeat. It was a very basic life style and she liked it very much.
"Come with me lets find something to eat and then we can play." she told Koka, she had already forgiven her sister and moved on.

"Should we find Mum first then. She can probably get us some fish..." Koka commented, but her nose twitched, just in case their parents left some food for them at the den. She pushed her nose to the ground like a hunting hound, though she had never seen one. Her blue tipped tail waved in the air again, and she moved across the floor.
Suddenly she lifted herself up, to ask her sister a question. "What will we play?" She asked, looking back to her purple sibling. She always loved games.
"No we don't need to get mom to get fish daddy taught me how to fish last week!" Kya told her sister excitedly. She wasn't sure if she could do it well, but she was excited to try and catch fish for her and her sister. She began to trot in the direction of the lake, which wasn't too far.
She turned remembering that her sister had asked her a question, "I dont know there is lots of games we could play." she said happily, now that she was waking up more and more she was finding her energy. "Tag or hide and go seek, or I spy." she said happily.

The little female gave a bright smile at her sister. "I can help, though I'm probably not so good," Koka walked next to her purple sister, a smile remaining on her face. She kept pace with her sister sniffing lightly, testing all of the scents in the air. The world was just so amazing to her.
"We could play tag~ Tag is always fun," Koka gave a small nod to herself, and pushed a bit forward, almost in a bounce of playfulness and neverending energy.
Kya smiled "Yes Tag would be fun" she said as she slipped into the river, managing to catch two fist, sure they were tiny little fish, barely bigger then guppies, but they were tiny little dogs, and it was enough she figured for her and her sister, she tossed them up on to the shore, it was enough for now she knew enough to know that her parennts would have plenty of food waiting for them come mid day.
Kya finished clean the bones of her fish and she looked up at her sister, a sly smie moved across her face, "Hey Koka." she said, "Whats that over there?" she jestered so that her sister would have to turn around to look behind herself, and before waiting for an answer she lept forward and pushed her paw against her sisters shoulder, "Tag you're it" she laughed and bounded away.

Koka stayed out of the water, hanging back - she was still warming up to the water thing, and honestly would rather hunt on the ground, but she didn't mind it to mcuh. She quickly stipped the fish with now practiced ease and licked her chops - it was small, but would sustain them for the game at least, enough before they would have to bug their mum, especially with such rich of food.
Gulible, though, Koka turned her head - she jumped lightly at the touch on her shoulder and her sisters voice. "H-hey! That's not fair," she cried out, but a grin quickly replaced the outcry and she dashed at her sister, white paws propelling her forward
Kya zigged back and forth, hoping the her running back and forth would make it harder for her sister to catch her. They were similar in size so Kya knew she would have to use some skills if she was going to keep away from sister long enough to make it fun. She ran around, some trees and rocks, laughing the whole time, she enjoyed playing with her sister, she even managed to find some dirt to run through making herself nice and grimey.
She risked a glance over her shoulder to see how far away her sister was, "You can't catch me" she called out to Koka.

Koka just ran, not following the zigzag, but where she thought her sister was going, and it helped her gain ground. This trick wouldn't work - she had learned otherwise when hunting hares. Even though she never managed to catch the quick beasts, but her sister was different.
Koka swerved sharply, avoiding the trees and rocks, and pushing herself to gain ground. She didn't speak at her sisters taunt, and started to close in on her.
Kya was laughing and having a great time, until she tried her swing her head back over her shoulder to find where her sister was, she should have kept looking forward. Kya suddenly found herself lieing on her back face upwards towards the sky. She was dizy and trying to figure out which was up, she flipped over onto her feet, and tried to start running again, but it was too late her sister would have been able to make up crucial ground, that Kya had made by tricking her into being it first.

And she did make up that crucial ground, she tapped her purple sibling on the shoulder, and called "You're it," with a pant before dashing away. She forced herself a bursh of speed - more daring though, she ran up some of the larger rocks and jumped over the ledges.
She gave a small giggled, forcing herself not to turn to see where her sister was.
Kya scrambled to her feet, angry at herself, she was angry that she had been silly enough to trip over what ever it was she had tripped over, she grumbled. She watched her sister run away, Koka was cleary bring this game to a whole new level of fun. She scrambled up and down over the same rocks that here sister was running over, it was great fun, she loved the feeling in her stomach as she fell back down to the earth below her, she giggled.
"I am catching up to you." she bellowed, truth was she was probably about the same distance from here sister as she had been since she had become it. She did however hope that her sister would make the same mistake as she did, her head was still spinning from tripping, she doubted she would be able to catch her sister at all.

Koka dashed, then suddenly swerved. She wasn't looking where she was going and her paws suddenly splashed in the water. In shoch, she stopped, not darking to go any further. She looked down at her paws, mind clouding in confusion for a moment, before snapping back to the world.
"Eep~" She giggled, stepping out of the water carefully as not to make toomuch of a splash. She knew her sister probably gained on her quickly after this. She giggled and looked to where her sister was coming to see if she could still escape.
Kya had managed to catch up, lauging as she saw her sister enter the water, though some what confused as to why her sister had run there. She didn't waste time thinking though, as she ran and tackled her sister, skippping the whole light paw to signify she was it. "I got you" she laughed, tumbling back into the water slightly.
Kya rose to her feet, and realized again how dizy she felt, apparently that fall had done more damaged then she had thought, she looked back at her sisters, her eyes telling everything. It was a rare moment in Kya's short life that she showed weekness, so she had a feeling her sister would understand how serious this was.

Koka grinned at her sisters giggle, but watched her for a bit. She adored all of her siblings, she did, but tat look in her eyes. She was worried. "You alright, Kya-ya?" She asked, adding the affectionate estra syllable at the end. She stepped closer to her sister.
"Should I go find Mum?" A white face was close to the other, studying the purple female with a frown on her face. She didn't understand many things yet, for she was merely a pup, but something like this... It was unnerving.
Kya shook her head, "No I think its ok, lets just head back to the den, I think I nap would be good just about now, and then maybe some more fish." she smiled, she didn't want her sister to worry about her. The young female turned and started in the direction of home, sticking close to her sisters side just in case, it was strange that Kya felt ill, untill recently she had thought of her self as quite invinsible.
When the two cubs made it back to their den, she slipped inside and found a nice cool corner to lay in sure that sleep would solve all her problems.

Koka still frowned, walking her sister back to the den. When her sister curled away for her name, isolated from the rest of the pups, she frowned more, but decided not to say anything - maybe she would feel better after a nap, so she lay her body close to watch her, red-brown eyes, focused and unwavering. A small sigh, she would watch her ill sister until her mum came - until then, she would act as her guardian.
