on pokemon platinum do they have a place where you can fight people on wifi o: with out them being on your pal list?

I don't think so...
You can battle people's registered battle tower teams at battle tower, but they're computer controlled. D:

no but if you get Pokemon battle revolution for the wii you can (Although they should of had that option on the DS Pokemon games but they found a way to get an extra $50 bucks out of us...)

Hmm... I was just remembering, when I got my Platinum orginally, I saw people using Shaymin-S in battles on the GTS battle server thing.
There are 2 problems with this however:
1. You can't use Shayin-S on Wifi battles
2. You can't use Shaymin at all in the battle tower
So, how did they do it?
