I must say, I'm deeply disappointed in gaia right now. I just received a 'Holiday Tree' from my daily chance....I have no clue what a 'holiday' tree is. -_- I know what a CHRISTmas tree is, but I don't understand what a 'holiday' tree is!
If you go to your aquarium and you put it in, it's a big tree with a star on top. It LOOKS like a Christmas tree....so why isn't it called one? I am so angry right now!
If gaia doesn't want to tick off other religions, then why don't they gift us menorahs and other religious items? Why do they insist on taking the Christ out of Christmas? I'm just....so frustrated. sad

*shrug* there isn't a whole ton we can do, but we CAN express out opinions. I already posted a thread over in the Q&A forum called "I'm confused, what is a 'holiday tree'? and I got some pretty mixed reviews. Some people we with me, and were offended by the fact that they won't call it a Christmas tree. Then some said it was politically correct :/ Regardless, I refuse to put the 'holiday tree' in my aquarium!

Soon we're going to have "holiday lights" and "holitivity scenes" with baby santa and a bunch of elves.
...Ew, nevermind. I hope not ._.'
confused It's odd how our society today says that Christians aren't cool or something. When did it start? Did Charles Darwin give atheists an excuse or do you think since the Fall that human kind just drifts away from God naturally?

Gaia won't listen to us, ever played zOMG?
they say OMG, even straight out say oh my god, which is wroung.
honestly, there's more people on gaia who prefer holidays instead of Christmas.
