This is like the third event in a row that they had leaks of the items on the MP. So.. anyone else excited about the Christmas event? It's going to happen today!! Hopefully it won't have a false start like the Halloween event. Edit: Moar leaks!

eh, green's not my colour :/ hope the other items are at least white or silver or something.
XD maybe it's on purpose. get people excited and whatnot.
(unrelated note; i managed to scrape up enough for the Silver Laurels, and i quite like them xd )
so, i know there's gonna be something in Towns, and something in the Shops, but is there anything for zOMG like the Halloween event? i hope so xd maybe then i can make a killer off of the loot and stuff again.

I know there will be the massive Christmas tree in Barton Town Square like last year's Christmas. I dunno about an event like Halloween, though. Haven't heard much about it.
Also.. I can't wait to see what will become of the Sentinial and the Overseer. <3

well, so far this isn't boding well sweatdrop the home page says the event's started, and the forum's open, but it seems the event itself hasn't truly gotten kick-started confused more bugs...

Grrrrrrr. It WAS started, but now it's down. I was THREE away from the 50 item mark. stare If that gets screwed up, I'm going to be very upset.

caroling hasn't started in the shops but I did the event with 2 of my mules and so far I only like the wait time between donating items.

:/ haven't been able to start, and i'm rather confused as to what the event is because i can't seem to access it. anyone care to explain it to me? if i don't see it working anytime tonight, i think i'll just give up and work on the MMV i'm doing for another site's holiday exchange (which is increasingly frustrating because Movie Maker keeps crashing on me, and i don't have the time or patience to learn how to use another program).

dark_insanity_13 :/ haven't been able to start, and i'm rather confused as to what the event is because i can't seem to access it. anyone care to explain it to me? if i don't see it working anytime tonight, i think i'll just give up and work on the MMV i'm doing for another site's holiday exchange (which is increasingly frustrating because Movie Maker keeps crashing on me, and i don't have the time or patience to learn how to use another program). basically in the event you donate either items or gold to get achievements....and the achievements are donate 5k gold donate 25 items donate 50 items donate socks donate a house item get 50 gingerbread men get 250 gingerbread men you get ginger bread men for how much K an item is worth or how much K in gold you donate (EXAMPLE: if an item is worth 5K in the marketplace that is 5 gingerbread men you get) it's the simplest and fastest event so far in Gaia history...you can be done in 30 minutes if you do it right... OH the only items you can donate are items that can be equipped,Special items,and house items EDIT:and if you didn't guess unlocking certain achievements gets you the event items and other achievements give you gold the event items are Overseer figure (also turns to a Sin Figure) Overseers tape cape overseers tub overseers holiday cheer makeshift engine and Garbage Wings

so the new Captain's Hat or whatever is from carolling...
hm...looks like i'm gonna have to save up some gold and scrounge up some stuff i don't want <.< only have 1k after buying the silver laurels...hey! finally a way i can get rid of all the Michael's Memory's i've been accumulating! XD stare now if only the accursed event would work...

If you guys want a huge help to put a dent in your gingerbread men collecting, just donate Edmunds Valentine Photo. It'll get you 167 gingerbread men. xD
And I'm just getting rid of all the skittles crap otherwise I got from the DC.

At the moment, people are being let in by a turn by turn basis. If your ID number (the number at the end of the url of your profile) ends in a 1, you're already able to access it. If you're ID number ends in a 9, you'll be the last group let in to access it. 3nodding I don't know if everyone has access or not, or what number they're up to yet. I do know at least 1-4 are in. Edit: Thread is here. Check that thread to see if you're able to access the event yet or not.

bloody hell, i'm in the eighth group. so i probably won't be able to get into the event until at least tomorrow morning. ah well, they said the towns/shops event isn't gonna be up again until tomorrow anyway. more for me to do tomorrow.
at the time i'm posting this, they have 0-5 up and running supposedly.
