Here is where the members of Akatsuki may rest and retreat to after a hard mission. It has every necessity one may need, including a kitchen, bathroom, living room, and bedroom. An underground river runs through each of them, which can be heated if chosen. The dorms are in the base, and therefore have no windows, and only a single exit and entrance.

Selene appeared with Sai, just above his bed. She place him down, not wanting to touch him or even move him. "Sai, take your time..." Selene's eyes closed, blinking really slowly. She did not send out another vibrations, but instead walked by the sound of her footsteps. Selene rounded the corner and headed to her own room. She felt her way to her bed, feeling the soft velvety sheets. Selene moved beyond it, heading to the river. She heated it up, and submerged her bare body, reveling in the warmth.

 Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninEven as his body hit the velvety sheets, Sai felt nothing from them. His senses were now completely dulled, his body's pain being the only thing that was real to him. Cracking his eyes open, he watched as Selene left the room, and he was relieved, but the thought was soon destroyed as his vision blurred yet again, this time coming back to normal only after a few seconds as a deep throbbing entering his head as he could yet again feel and hear a single heartbeat practically echo through his entire body. Another cough came as he rolled to his side, spurting blood onto the ground as he fell out of the bed.
The shock of the fall, the cold of the stone floor, he felt none of it...pain consumed his every thought. One last time, his vision blurred and his head throbbed, but this time he was paralyzed, his body shooting up to a point where he was on all fours, though his eyes were bulged open wide. His body had hit it's limit and the pain of his bloodline was excruciating, but he was about to pay the toll his bloodline so often granted him when he tapped into it's full potential.
"AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"A blood-curdling scream was heard throughout the halls of the Akatsuki's base as Sai's bloodline punished him for it's use. Sai's body reignited in dark blue flame again as the final pulse of pain felt as if a sword had been thrust into every point of his body...a pain following that not even a Konaga clan member could imagine until they experienced it, and it persisted. Sai's body lashed out, his chakra exploding off of him, his body reacting to the incredible drain of chakra from his body by an incredibly strong production of it to saturate his cells once again. there was a reason that they were the Konaga Clan...the Eternal Spirits...their chakra reserves were unending, never dying, always surging through them.
The ground around Sai immediately cracked open and the bed he had fallen from was ripped to shreds as broken pieces of wood flew in every direction. The chakra his body was producing and expelling at the same time had a very real affect on the environment around him, and would decimate anything it touched. the chakra continued to explode off of him as Sai rose to his feet, his body forcing movement from him as he wandered the room, his fist hitting the wall, driving a hole straight into it as the surrounding stone cracked and fell to the ground. Pieces of wood and sharpened ends of the bed stuck into his skin from before, but Sai was dulled to any pain besides what his chakra was producing.
Sai continued to flail around his room screaming bloody murder for at least a minute now, his hands holding his head as he fell to his knees and shook from side to side, rocking back and forth as he whimpered in pain. Unable to contain or control himself as he started even throwing himself up against the walls in an attempt to feel anything but the chakra pains, but it came to no avail. Knocking himself against the wall one more time, the fit was beginning to subside, though Sai's body was practically destroyed. His arms and face were now almost completely burned, scars of blackened skin flowing across his face as he finally collapsed to the ground, the aura of chakra leaving him as his body shut off.
Sai was alive, but the pain would follow him into his sleep, bringing agony even to his dreams. He had no energy though, his body had stopped attempting to do anything except keep him alive at the most basic levels. He simply laid on the ground now, slumped over in his destroyed room as his body went limp, the scars of the chakra burning his skin and ripping his flesh in multiple areas, though producing no blood, as the wounds had been singed shut.

Selene's eyes shot open at the blood-curdling scream ripped through the air. She clenched her fists, knowing how stupid of her it would be to charge in and try to stop him. *I'd shrivel up and die as everything in there is...* Selene submerged her head, though her supersonic hearing allowed her to hear absolutely everything.

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninLeaning sideways, halfway between falling and against the wall, Sai had remained motionless through the night, though his face would still twitch and his body spasm as the pain of his bloodline followed him even into his sleep. Konaga Clan members never slept, and when they did it was involuntary...the pain often worse then when they were awake as their unconscious mind would create equally painful imagery to match the pain that was felt physically. His arms and face were still burned, as his body would not heal without meditation. Sai then suddenly woke up, his mind snapping him back into reality as he opened his eyes, then quickly closed them in a wince of pain.
After a few moments of delirium, Sai was finally cognizant of his surroundings as he looked down to see a few small chunk of wood embedded in his arm and chest...the blood around them long since dried. without even a second though to the pain, Sai pulled the pieces of wood out and dropped them to the ground as he looked painfully around the room. His skin was still hot and he could still feel pulses of chakra flowing through his skin. If anyone had come to him during the night and happened to touch him, they would have been attacked and sent across the room. Luckily, Selene knew better then to try. through labored breaths, Sai crawled across the room to the water. His left arm and right leg were not responding to his will, he was dragging them like dead weight.
With a deep groan, he managed to remove his shirt and his shoes and with some pain, managed to get down to just a pair of boxers. Sai's body was riddled with scars, his skin pale, shadowed, almost lifeless in color...an effect of the numbing. He was thin, but muscular, the bloodline which ran through his veins always gave him an insane metabolism, as all members of the Konaga Clan bore the same features. After heating the water, Sai crawled in, dragging his limp limbs behind him and positioning them once in the bath. With his neck and head above the water, Sai brought his hands together in a seal he liked to use for deep concentration, his good hand force ably positioning the other with sufficient pressure. Closing his eyes Sai began what would be about a 2 hour process of meditation before he could reach what was true rest for him, a deep meditative state where his body could begin to heal. "You can never know my pain..."

Selene's eyes slowly opened, she had dozed off a bit, and she blinked as a test. Her migraines were gone, for now. She rose out of the water, dressed in nothing as she stepped out. With a quick and simple manipulation of water, she was dry. Selene took care of herself, and dressed accordingly. A short and plain tank top, and some simple pants to cover. She pulled on some shoes as well, and attached her staff to her hip. Selene had memorized where everything was, and how to get to it, since everything was in the same spot. She breathed deeply, and sent out a large vibration, which swept through the hideout. *He is in the healing process...* Selene saw the extent of the damage he caused using another vibration, which would alert Sai to her waking. Selene walked out of her room, shutting the door firmly behind her, and waiting in the hall. *I must return that body, before he wakes...*

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninAfter a long two hours of focused meditation, Sai was finally able to come to a place of rest. Absolute relief flooded over his body as he felt the pain of his bloodline melt away. there was no way for a Konaga Clan member to describe the peace that meditation brought them, just as there was no accurate way to describe the pain they felt constantly while awake. Once in deep meditation, the mind was free of the body and the clan member was able to separate himself from the pain, allowing for both mental and physical stability to be reached.
As he reached this point, Sai's body began to emit a light blue aura and his tatoo began to glow a bright red over his eye. Hours passed in what seemed like minutes...the feeling of freedom for a clan member almost passing like the high of a drug, with extree elation and a loss of time and space. Then, his body awoke from it's meditation...it must have been 6 hours, as Sai once again felt the burden of his bloodline fill him once more as he awoke to the familiar pain which pulsed through his body. With a deep sigh, Sai rose up out of the water...finding that he had complete control of his limbs again, but looking at them, realized they were still badly burned.
Drying himself off quickly, Sai put his clothes back on, carefully wrapping the left side and arm of his body as always, before walking out with a newly showered look as he made his way to the kitchen. Sai was starving...his body craved food after such an ordeal, as if his normally high metabolism and hunger for food wasn't enough. Sai made his way around the kitchen slowly, still recovering from the pain of his fit last night, as he began to cook up several bowls of udon noodles for soup, as well as about 10 cups of rice and a few fish to go with it. "You can never know my pain..."

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!Kai walked in the dorm place thingy and still held the dead head of some guy she found outside in her hand "hmph might be good practice.." she thought and walked into the kitchen to find a guy "hello" her accent was of british

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai was startled by the 'hello'...a feeling he was not used to. Normally, he'd have sensed someone coming into the room, but he was so focused on cooking multiple things at once, and blinded by hunger and pain, he must have missed all the clues. Expecting to see Selene, Sai raised his head only to look upon someone he had never seen before, holding the severed head of Blue in her hand.
Sai acted instantly, moving behind his back to his kunai pouch as he activated his bloodline ability, forcing chakra into his muscle cells, heightening them to a hyperactive state. In the blink of an eye, he seemingly vanished before Kai's eyes before instantly reappearing in front of her, placing a kunai directly at her neck, with just enough pressure so she could feel it, but without cutting her. A wave of pain flowed through his body causing him to wince heavily at the effect of utilizing the chakra Shift while still injured, but he fought through it, not willing to allow himself to be caught off guard by a possible assassin in the Akatsuki base."You have 10 seconds to explain who you are before I slit your throat...choose your words wisely." "You can never know my pain..."

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!"I'm kai....a new member of akatsuki...you seem to be in quite a hyper-active bloody rush eh?" she said trying as much english as she could "sorry if i scared ya tho!" she said switching the head to her other hand and holding it up to show the white haku ring on her middle finger "see govna?"

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special JouninSai kept his grip on the kunai steady as he heard her speak. whatever accent she was using was already annoying him, but he was concentrating more on the matter at hand then her voice's inflections. Looking at the ring, it was definitely an Akatsuki ring, but Sai had no idea which ring Blue had taken when he joined. He had only seen the man once, and didn't make note of it, as he couldn't really have cared less about his presence at the time.
"Not acting too smart for an Akatsuki...you walk in the room with a severed head and expect not to be attacked? You have a ring sure, but you also have the BEHEADED REMAINS OF A MEMBER IN YOUR HAND! ...you could have easily taken that ring from him if you killed him yourself. Try again, start making sense, and this time, don't spare the details, unless you want more bodiless heads in the room." Sai's eyes were fierce and it demanded an answer from her quickly. Sai pushed the kunai in a little harder, drawing a small p***k of blood as an incentive for Kai to start making sense..."Damn...where is Selene when you need her?" "You can never know my pain..."

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!she held in her accent to speak clear english to him while explaining "i came to the entrance and scanned my ring then spotted a head with a note er...kinda burned into the skin and didn't see the body anywhere so i picked it up and i swear i didn't know it was one of your..friends" she said turning the head to show the note[which is at your entrance] "as i rad the sanbi host killed your member" she said backing up a little to push the kunai away "im a medical ninja..."

Looking at her hand, Sai noticed that her ring was on the same hand as his, and thinking back to his brief encounter with Blue, he remembered noting that his was on the opposite side of all the other members of the time (namely, himself and Selene). After staring at her for a few seconds, Sai finally removed the kunai from her neck and moved back to doing his cooking...
"Blue wasn't my friend. I never even met him in person, though if he was killed so easily while running off by himself, I'm glad I didn't know him. Just another failure of a member. Selene sure knows how to pick 'em." Sai's arm began to darken again, new streams of blackened and chakra burned flesh appearing as the effect of his chakra Shift kicked in. he made no outward expression of pain, but it was there, loud and clear, but he would be damned if he showed a second of weakness in front of someone he had never met. "Very well Medical Nin Kai...what are you here for?" "You can never know my pain..."

Akatsuki | Motarasu Hana Clan | Kai Akatsuki med!she wiped the small pint of blood from her neck and nodded "eh? well im to join akatsuki as your medical ninja.." he did notice the burns and was actually thinking of how much pain each burn was "it must feel like someone is slicing his skin off..those burns" she thought ".....probaly he was weak i see he was a puppet user.." she said

Konaga SaiAkatsuki | Konaga Clan | Special Jounin"What does that have to do with anything?" Sai asked at her last comment, showing a large amount of disdain in his voice. "Just because he was a puppet master, he was weak? I can assure you that Selene would never have even allowed him to live had she not deemed him worthy to carry the name Akatsuki, let alone issued him a ring." Sai continued to pace around the room, tending to his multiple courses as he spoke, using the silence in between his statements as a powerful underline to everything he was saying.
"The point is that he obviously got careless. He either grew too confident in his own abilities, or just plain stuck around for longer then he should have." The fish was now done, all three pieces cooked well enough to Sai's liking. He liked things to be well cooked, as taste didn't even matter to him, his bloodline having stripped him of true taste long ago. Finishing up the rice, it took two large bowls to hold it all, and another 2 to hold all the Udon noodles. In combination with the fish, the meal looked like it could easily feed 4 families.
"You still have yet to answer my question..." he added as he set his bowls on the table, practically speaking into the air as he was clearly more concerned with his food then Kai's presence. "Twice now I've asked you why you are here, and both times, your only answer was that you were a Medical Nin. I could have figured that out on my own if I wanted. I want to know WHY you are in Akatsuki...how do your goals and ambitions line up with our grand scheme of actions? ...what drives you to help us claim the bijuu for our own purpose?"
