The sky above Mauja seemed to echo how his mind was: beautiful, yet empty. No clouds drifted overhead, and his head had nothing circling through it. It was a mellow feeling, but he could only think of seeking out something to take up the space in his head for awhile; a distraction. His delicate frame bobbed as he walked along, the grass around him brushing against his sides as the wind washed over the savannah. It was empty times like these that Mauja really wondered if it was a good idea to be out wandering the plains so much, but he was out here now, and there wasn't much he could do to change that.
His paws stroked by a small rock, and he decided to briefly entertain himself with it, kicking it along in front of him. Normally, he'd be flinging himself from a tree, but his need for an adrenaline rush had subsided recently, and he didn't care too much for the shock of landing on his joints. So he kept his eyes focused on the small rock in front of him, not noticing the world around him. A smile crossed his face, and he slowly began to increase his speed, careening the rock from paw to paw as fast as he possibly could.
