There was the usual hustle and bustle in the facility that morning, but the only biggest difference was the fact that most of the hurrying around was actually structured. The man sat in his desk alone, he for once was looking rather somber, a frown crossing over his face as he reached for the picture frame that had been face down for a number of months. He had made a deal to not go near him, it was...easy and impossible at the same time. It was perhaps the first time he regretted making such a simple deal. Next time...well next time he'd ask for a much higher price than just having Luthor going to a simple class.
His fingers lingered on the edge of the frame as he stroked the glossy black wood before retracting his hand. No there was no time or point in regrets. Regrets were for the weak willed. He stood up, moving a hand through his hair before he stepped out of his office. This day would mark the first step towards a better world. Today they were going out for another demon, and a new step forward.
He stood in the entrance way of the facility, his hands behind his back, wearing his usual suit. The fact that he was wearing it for the trip to hell seemed to give off a bit of arrogance and ignorance. But there was no sense in him changing now. Not when the spawn of the facility should be arriving any moment. Waving a hand to one of the techs that was dashing by the man hesitated before coming over.
"Summon Aden for me, I need to speak with him." The boss instructed the tech nodding his head and then hurrying off to do as he was told. It was going to be difficult to keep his disguise solid with Luthor around, yes he was arrogant enough to think that Luthor would be joining him. But he knew he would, for if his friend was going then he so would surely follow. He gave a snort as he shifted on the spot, more like a living statue than any living breathing creature.
Aden was laying face down on his desk when the Tech arrived, arms crossed in a manner that blocked out the light, and he snoring away. The Tech starred at him... and the mess of papers around him, on the floor, and then took a step forward to give him a poke in the shoulder. The Doctor jerked away, "I was resting my eyes!" He said defensively... then found himself starring at a blurry shape that didn't look like his boss. He reached over to get his glasses, opened them up, and put them on before looking over at the Tech, "What do you want?"
"Boss is looking for you, hes waiting, better not keep him waiting." The guy said, knowing for a fact that those that the guy wasn't going to be happy if he were left waiting today.
The Doctor gave a huge yawn, checked his watch, then nodded and got out a letter and handed it to the Tech, "Bring that to Almas."
The Tech prickled, "What the Hell... why should I run errands for you?" The man demanded.
Aden gave a wide yawn, "I'd say because I have access to a whole slew of drugs and in turn I can use them to do terrible things to you?" He said, heading over to the fridge to get out a small, metal container that looked like a small cooler. It was put into a bag sitting next to which he pulled over his shoulder, "So get moving on the letter, its important." He wanted Almas to come here, to get distracted with the cleaning up of the Hospital Wing so that he wouldn't know, see, or catch wind of what Vampy was up to.
The guy starred at the envelope for a moment then snorted, "Fine, whatever." He snapped before turning to leave the room in a rush. He wouldn't admit being intimidated by the Doctor but he was...
Aden gave another yawn, patted down his pockets to find his pack of smokes and lighter before he headed to find and join his boss outside.
It was still early, he didn't expect many of the spawn to arrive just yet; in fact he'd be surprised if some of the spawn who lived close by and even in the facility showed up first. Still he stood waiting he could be patient when needed, his gold eyes glittered as he watched everyone scurrying around doing his bidding. When Aden arrived he looked at him like a lion may appraise a slab of meat. Deciding that he was acceptable the man smiled though it was not a friendly one. There was something cold and hungry about that smile,
"There you are, I do so hope you have the items I requested?" He stated with a nod of his head, his eyes flickering to the bag that was over the Doctors shoulder. There was the urge to step forward to take it but he refrained,
"And though the hospital wing is ready just in case?" He inquired to the man shifting only slightly to straighten his rigid posture.
The Doctor gave another yawn before he got out a cigarette and lit it up, lifting the item to take a long drag off of it. He glanced over at his Boss and gave a smile as he blew out the smoke, "I am an not the sort to leave those around me disappointed." He told him, giving a grin. The lighter and pack were tucked back into his pocket and he leaned back against the building so that he could enjoy his cigarette as well as wake up.
"I have someone coming in today to help me arrange the Hospital Wing accordingly as well as clean up all the papers I have laying around." He told him, watching the gate before he looked around. Nobody was here yet, that was a shame. He might hang out and see if he could get a peek at some of the other spawn that were going along before he went on his way.
The man with golden eyes and silver hair looked to Aden before he looked away, he would tolerate Aden's smoking inside the facility only because the man's skills were valuable. For the moment. "Yes, I have Zyane preparing the portal in his class room. As well a emergency portal that will lead to the hospital wing if needed. He replied his hands were still behind his back as if he didn't feel the need to move them.
"I trust the necromancer was useful in your preperations?" He inquired a raised eyebrow in question. If it was one thing though the necromancer had been a unlikely choice for a magic instructor...his skills were useful for a human.
"We exchanged some notes through the Techs and he was a bit underfoot while inspecting where was best to pt that portal." He said, not that he was complaining, it gave him someone interesting to watch while he was fiddling. He was quiet for a moment as he finished off his first cigaretted of the day before he used a nearby drinking fountain to put it out and tossed it into the trash, "Alright, I am sure its not my pretty, unshaven face you were wanting to see so let me get down to business."
He opened the bag up and took out the metal case which he opened up, "Each of these are pretty simple to use, you hold the end, pop off the top, and smack it against the skin and it will inject the contents into the target." He opened one up so that Vampy could get a good look at the sharp point, closed it, and put it back, "Each of these vials, keep in mind there are only so many of each, are color coded." He held it up so that Vampy could see the three colors, "Blue is to calm them, its not for a full out wrath based rage though. Green is for that. Then there is this one." He held it up for Vampy to see, the entirety of it was a bright, yellow color, "There is only one of these and this is NOT for the spawn as I am pretty sure it might either throw them into a coma or kill them out right. This is for your demoness. I doubt it will knock her out but it will slow her down to make her easier to deal with... well as easy as it ever is to deal with a bitchy woman, am I right?" He gave a chuckle.
Vampy smiled, it was a sharks smile, "Ah you did not disappoint," He nearly purred as he reached out to take one of the green vials to look it over. It was much like diabetics insulin shot, or rather the type of shot you give to prevent nerve damage from a certain toxic gas.
"Wonderful, you can go about what you were doing, but take this.." He reached into his pocket and then pulled out a very small crystal that looked like a claw.
"This will alert you when things get interesting. You best be prepared if this cyrstals starts wailing...it means you will have company coming... let us hope that won't be the case." He explained as he dropped the thing into Aden shirt pocket. He then basically dismissed the man returning to face the doors awaiting for the others to arrive.
Aden looked at the jewel that was presented to him and then dropped into his pocket, "Heh, a gift of jewels, huh? I didn't know our relationship was at that stage already, Boss." He gave a wink before he set the bag down at Vampy's feet, "Here, I prepared this as well. It might be useful." He told him before he turned to head off, pausing after a few steps. He looked over his shoulder, wondering if he should tell the Boss that he was putting Almas to work for him but decided against it. The guy seemed to busy to worry about him drafting the blond, they didn't seem to get along after all so he doubted it would really matter that much. He gave a smile, whistling as he went.

This was the third time he was called to the building for something other than classes... What it was, he knew not. The Wrath spawn grew very interested in this specific calling, though, because the letter said something about going on a field trip down to the lower Celestial Realm. Ty though it would obviously be talking about Hell, because there would be no other 'lower Celestial Realm' than down there.
He walked up the main path to the wretched facility. As he made his way up to the door, he saw the man he would have least liked to see near the gates. He took a couple deep breaths, and trudged on into the lobby to meet Mr. Vampy, "Hello, sir..." Tykier held back the surprising urge to do something nasty to him. But knowing that it was he who basically made him, he thought that Vampy could suddenly unmake him, by scientific means he does not want to know about. But being around that man made his feathers ruffle, and made his whole body tense.

Mareike strode through the front doors of the facility projecting an air of confidence tinged with eagerness that was amplified by her body language. Back straight, hair pulled back and wings clamped defensively to her back. The muscular, maroon skinned young woman was ready, at least in her mind, for whatever it was she would have to deal with. Wrath spawn herself she faced most challenges with a steely grin and a never say die attitude.
Spotting another of her kin though Mareike hung back at the far end of the lobby. She could and did work in groups with the guard but there were no other facility spawn there. She already knew full well she reacted.. territorially and with little to no thought when around many of her own kind. Keeping control of herself would be key today.
Leaning against a wall she closed her main eyes and let her lone yellow one scan the room, it's gaze occasionally falling on the other spawn and .. him. For everyone's sake Mareike hoped the group would contain less agitating presences to counter those she knew were likely to be problems.

Hearing a little racket that he wasn't use to, Ciaran woke a little frighten as he didn't know were he was. But that was just for a second as he spotted Luthor right next to him. He layed back down as he wasn't really a morning person as he just wanted a little more sleep but he knew it would be futile to even try. So he carefully got out of the bed and gave a streach and a yawn, his feathers ruffleing a little before seddling back down as a few fell to the ground. Then straightend his pants and then looked to the ground and picked up one of them and got a thought and a smile.
Walking back over to the bed to were Luthor was, Ciaran gave him a shake to wake him up. "Its time to get up, Luthor," he said as he took the feather and started to tickle it under Luthor's nose and then around his face. Ciaran waited for Luthor to wake up and then he would just follow him to the place that they would start there treck into hell.

'Zuba slinked into the facility quietly, eyes scanning for the group. Oh, if Mother knew where she was going, she would NOT be pleased. Regardless, the split spawn was here, ready to go. She was wearing the cheaply made armor she'd recently been given; the sign-ups had said it would be dangerous. It'd be better than nothing, right? The sword, which was also made for training and not real combat, sat in it's hilt, strapped to her back. Was she really equipped for this kind of situation? No. But that was not going to stop her from trying. She'd have to thank Uncle later, for providing what little equipment she had.
"Greetings." 'Zuba said quietly, nodding her head to her elders as she approached. She didn't seem as...agitated...as the others were. In fact, she seemed perfectly calm, like this was an everyday occurrence. She stood, quiet as a mouse, waiting for further instruction.

Luthor was slow to come awake, starring up at his friend before a little groan escaped him. Time to get up? Which meant time to go and face Vampy and all of his gloating when the guy saw that he was in fact coming along despite saying he was going to try to get out of the trip. The white haired spawn pushed up to his feet and padded over to Ciaran, "Urgh, I just know hes going to say something." He muttered, he was certain the man would make some sort of comment and it made Luthor's little wings flap rapidly in agitation.
He looked around for a moment, fetching a pair of shoes that he had but never wore since he rarely left the Labs since he'd gotten back and gotten the footwear and pulled them on. Shoes were uncomfortable and he disliked them greatly but he supposed it was something he would need on this trip. Once he had them on and tied he moved over to his friend, looking at him and after a moment to steeling himself he turned and started toward the Lobby where they were supposed to gather. There were already a few people here, nobody he knew aside from Vampy so he moved to stick close to Ciaran.
He felt a little silly for all but clinging to his friend but he was more then a little nervous at the moment. He just hoped they could get this over with quickly.

Lit was dropped off by Santana a good bit ago and had been standing outside the doorway, trying to make sense of the situation. So far he could see several spawn he did not recognize...and two spawn that he wished he didn't know. Both Ty and Mareike were going on this trip? Did they not screen these things before sending them out together? Suddenly wishing he hadn't let his cabin fever cloud his better judgment about the facility, Lit stepped in and shoved his hands deep into his pockets...clenching fists tight to keep from swinging out at his nearest half-sibling.
"You must be desperate for brute force if you're pulling some of the Old Man's kids in on this," he muttered, directed at Vampy but not biting or snide.
Lit remembered the man from his first parent visit; hadn't really felt right around him then, still didn't feel right around him now. Finding a place to stand, the red-skinned spawn would make sure to steer clear of the other Wrathlets and Vampy. His wings would bristle on and off in discomfort...and that ever nasty third eye wasn't sure which one of the three it should attempt to will to death first.

The silver haired man seemed to be studying each and every person who was gathering. There were quite a few wrath kids, and though that in on itself was not a bad thing, he wasn't too surprised to see less than the number of spawn who had shown up. No spines.
He looked to Tykier when spoken to him, he gave a nod of his head to the spawn, though it didn't look like he was going to respond with any greeting of his own. His gaze locked on the maroonish skin that belonged to yet another wrath baised spawn. The girl Marieke, her stamina would prove useful.
Then there was the envy spawn...Ciaran whom he recalled had to stay at the facility for a length of time after hurting himself. A small grin as this meant Luthor would indeed be showing up.
He was a bit surprised to see another envy spawn a girl, Zuba...or something like that. He gave a bit of a stare at her...equipment but didn't comment. After all the heat in hell would probably be enough that she would discard most of it.
The smirk only intensified as he spotted Luthor, he even went as far to greet his 'son' of sorts with locking gazes with him and nodding his head as in I told you so.
Then there was another wrath spawn Litural, he gave a wry grin at his comment he could see this one was perhaps the most agitated by the gathering of spawns.
Finally when every one seemed...assemebeled as best they could be withouth direct instrcution he spread his arms out in front of him.
"First I shall give you my thanks for showing up and appearing before me. As you all understand the trip we are about to embark on is a dangerous one, this is no picnic and those who are not mentally or physically prepared should be best to leave now." He stated with a stern look amoungst the group.
"Now I shall go through the steps. First I will be equipping two of you with first aid kits. These things will cover the basic necessities. Anything that requires immediate medical attention," He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small cyrstal similar to the one he had given the good Doctor. The claw like shape glinted in the light.
"We have emergency portals available to use to send people directly to the hospital ward were we have a team of dedicated staff ready to go at a moments notice." He explained as he gave a pause before casting a look around each of the spawn.
"Any questions thus far?"

He was a little on the late side but what was that saying 'better late then never' wasn't it? He wasn't tagging along on this trip because of any desire to be there, nor was it any need to push himself though he was hoping for a battle where he could truly let loose. Honest he was going along because he didn't trust Vampy in the least. The guy was had a salesman's smile that hide the viper that he really was... he didn't trust a thing that came out of the man's mouth and that was why he was going along. The man was bringing spawn down to Hell, young ones, untrained ones, he didn't put it passed the guy to use them as bait to get what he wanted no matter what happened to them.
He pushed the door open coming in just in time for the man's speech and he starred at Vampy with three narrowed eyes, his hatred of him wasn't masked in any manner as he stepped inside then walked forward to look around and see who was present. Aside from Vampy himself Duncan was realizing he was the oldest spawn here... he wondered what sort of sign that was as to how well this mission was going to go. There were only a couple here he didn't know, one he had never seen before and looked nothing like any of the spawn he'd seen. He made a quick tally in his head, of the group and including himself there were four spawn that had Shar's blood in them. There was another bad sign, that he had so many wrath spawn following him. He wondered if any of them had a better control of their temper and nature then he did.
He quickly realized that one of the group, the one that looked as though he didn't belong, was catching his attention due to his scent... he gave a little sniff at the air drawing it in then gave a snort, instantly disliking the white haired spawn for some reason due to that scent. He couldn't place it but that smell was off putting.
Duncan crossed his arms over his chest, claws tapping against the bone structures that wrapped around his ribs, and listened into the rest of what Vampy was saying, he didn't comment though and gave no outward reaction, merely continued starring the guy down.

Tykier carefully listened to Mr. Vampy. Knowing he was going to Hell((and back)), he needed to know things about said plane. Ty looked at the claw-like crystal, and glared back at Vampy. He looked back at the other two Wrath spawns. There's Lit... And that other girl that I met a while back... He glanced over to Zuba, I never knew she would go, and what is with the armor? Then, he watched as Luthor came up the hall, Wow... He's grown into such a fine man! I feel old now! Tykier looked back to Vampy, and glancing, again, to the others to see if they were going to speak.

"Well you don't have to reply or even fully listen." he said to keep his friend calm and gave him a big smile.
Ciaran just had to smile at how Luthor was cling but he liked it and ways there wasn't too many there he knew as he looked around the room. It seamed that there were only two he knew, Litural when he was younger but that time in his life was a little fuzzy and then there was Duncan. He had listend to what Vampy had to say and he wiggled his toes as he wasn't wearing any shoes, as he thought of a question as none were comeing to him.
He desited that he didn't have any questions and wasn't going to say anything to Vampy. "Heya, Duncan," he said to the older spawn with a smile and a wave.

The white haired spawn felt himself bristle when he saw that grin on Vampy's lips and the way the man greeted him only made it worse. Damn it why did the guy have to act toward so friendly toward him. He listened to all of what was being said, first aid kits were a good idea, and those crystals even more so. He wouldn't admit it out loud but it was a good idea... and that his Father seemed to be wanting to keep the spawn alive was a nice touch.
Luthor glanced over his shoulder as a demon entered the Lobby and his eyes widened, for a moment wondering what was going on. Hadn't... hadn't Shar been killed? Isn't that what they were gathering for? He watched the way that the creature seemed to look them all over with its narrowed and scary eyes before he stepped in closer to Ciaran, wrapping his arms around that of his friend when the demon seemed to glare at him. He didn't know why the thing was so angry at him but it scared him enough that he was looking for help from his only friend present in the group, "T-That... demon is... s-starring at me." He murmured, sounding quite uncertain.
His confusion grew when Ciaran greeted that 'demon' in a friendly manner, seeming to know his name. Duncan? So it wasn't Shar? He looked a lot like what he'd always heard that demon described as... strange. If it weren't the wrath demon though why was it starring at him in such an unhappy, aggressive manner? He looked at Vampy again and felt a little worry growing in his belly.

"Any estimates on how long this will all take?" Despite her general unease at the moment there was only genuine curiosity in Mareike's voice. She wanted to know how planned out this trip was or if they were just going to be wandering around following the least reputable guide in existence. Some part of the wrath spawn also wished they could have brought one of the more manageable demons with them as extra leverage.

'Zuba shifted uncomfortably in place as she noticed the couple of odd looks her armor had gained her. While it wasn't that many, only two, it still made her second-guess her choice. The others weren't wearing armor, so maybe she she get rid of hers? But, wouldn't it look even more foolish to take it off here? After a small, inner debate with herself, she decided to keep it on. Hey, it might come in handy later...she hoped.
She noticed Tykier, giving him a little wave. She was definitely glad to see a familiar, friendly face. It helped take away some of the nervousness that she felt. She then looked to Mr. Vampy, pausing a moment. Well, it couldn't be that stupid of a question, could it? "Have a plan of action?" she asked, her tone still as quiet as it had been when had first entered. She really hoped they had a plan; running into a dangerous situation knowingly without one was definitely a bad idea.

Like the spawn who had met the Boss-man before, Lit felt his wings bristle and a sneer threaten his lip. Vampy may be very serious business, but he was also grinning...that was never a good nor pleasant thing in the end. Why did I sign up for this again? the dual-winged spawn thought privately, glancing to the door when Duncan entered.
Another one; so now there were four of them? Suddenly Lit felt very concerned about what they were going after; "Why exactly are we trying to bring back?" he posed his question.
Maybe he'd just missed that memo, but if not then it was definitely something that they all needed to know. And why, evidently, as we trusting you with our lives? Stupid, stupid idea Lit...you just might end up really regretting this one.
