That is, if you like it, of cause. I was never really a yaoi type person. Which I'm still not, I mean, I wouldn't go and look for it. I only watch like 1 guyxguy and that was Gravitation. And I didn't realise that until I watched it. Only watched because I read alot of people said it was good. I began watching Kuroshitsuji on Thursday because I got fed up of working, and also because of this SONG and the picture. And cause I found that the voice actor for Ciel, Maaya Sakumoto, also did Haruhi Fuijioka from Ouran High School, AND princess Tomoya in Tsubasa Chronicle. Though I would have never guessed. And during Kuroshitsuji, I was more liking the butler and master friendship type relationship. But when I finished the series, I was just listening to that song again leading to watching other amvs, which half of it is SebastianxCiel. And then I end up watching doujinshiji (Or however it's spelt) on Youtube. ((Which I noticed that there a lot of, somewhat explicit yaoi stuff, yet noone seems to be complaining but once a girl is added into that, you see every other comment are rude and complaining. Mostly from girls.)) But yeah, back to topic. After reading some of the doujinshijis, I was more hooked on that couple. =S lol. And like for Katekyo Hitman Reborn. I have my prefered couples, but theres alot of guyxguy doujinshis and amv for it. Though there's only one that I'm ok with, still dont like the rest. But if it was before, I would have left immediately, now I would just watch it and be like, hm ok. I've noticed that my habits? changed recently. I normally don't like shota (Is that the right term?). I don't normally go for incest/twincest (Which I still don't, it just depends on some), and lastly yaoi which again similar to incest/twincest. Well, it hasn't changed majorly but still, I never thought I would actually like these. Ever. lol. Anway enough with me talking. =X - When did you start watching yaoi related stuff? - Why? - Did youever thought you would? - What habits was changed recently because of something?

I was disgusted and appalled that people liked yaoi, until I actually read some. I was like, 13, and instantly hooked on it. XD
I like it because it's different... sometimes I feel like heterosexual pairings are way too predictable. And, well... it's hot. XD
Also, Kuroshitsuji is awesome <3

I think I was a freshman in high school when I started getting into yaoi. I read Gravitation because people kept saying it was funny, and the manga WAS super addictive. When I finished I was kind of like, "cool". Then I just liked it I guess.
Visual kei bands like Fatima didn't help either... Heh.
I'm not super addicted now, I don't look at yaoi really anymore. I'll read gay stuff, or write it. And I only watch Coat West or go-guy companies for pr0nz. *cough*
I'm not obsessed or anything. I don't pair everyone up and I don't flip out like some girls. It's just kind of fun sometimes xd

I'm still not a huge yaoi/yuri fan (meh, i think I'm starting to swing both ways)
But if i read them, then I read them.
I mean, come on, there was BOTH in sailor moon when I grew up, even when they tried to carefully disguise it, that one evil chick from the first series was SO TOTALLY A MAN!
I don't recall ever having a problem with it, although I am not a huge fan of when girls make yaoi pairings out of VERY HET MEN! For example, Mugen and Jin. GRAGSHAFOINOIANDOEWNAP!
There's only been one fic I liked where Mugen and Jin were gay for each other, and even then they were bi *coughthreesomewithFuucough*
It's still not my biggest love. I still crave the het pairings. Right now I'm a HUUUUUGE Maka/Soul fangirl. Their relationship is just so innocent despite the insanity swarming between them. They're awesome.
Although, when the comic that I'm working on with my friend comes out, i'm sure that we'll get some shits and giggles over seeing two EXTREMELY STRAIGHT men from a medieval fantasy world make out in fanart.

I just love the stuff that fangirls come up with. If they are hot, and they hate each other in the series........ they really just want to get down and dirty and love each other constantly. (DracoxHarry, ZoroxSanji, etc.) I love how fangirls just make one guy who is all manly, get all shy and everything. I love how guys who end up with girls in the series go gay in fanart. :'> I love yaoi. I fell in love with it when I started watching Yu Gi Ohhhhhhhh. (haha, my friend tried to get me into it when I was watching DBZ, but we just settled for Bulma and Vegeta cuz that's all I cared about.) Anywho. Ya. For a long time I really didn't like yuri all that much either, but if I see art of couples that I think work well together, I tend to like that couple too. But for the most part, I like yaoi more. :> Yayyyyy~!

i admit, i'm a bit more open to shounen-ai (not yaoi because that's technically the explicit stuff) now that i was earlier in the year, and i think the root cause of that is Axis Powers Hetalia xd that, and hanging around a Bleach forum for a certain het pairing filled with girls that also happen to ship boyxboy pairings from the same series. most of it is joking/light-hearted though. if i can avoid boyxboy stuff, i will, but if not, whatever...unless it gets to hot and heavy, in which case, i'm leaving because i'm not into that >.< one of the yaoi fandoms that really annoys me is the Kingdom Hearts one :/ it ticks me off that i have to wade through a whole mass of male romance stories to get to any of the NON-romance stories for any of the Organization stressed i mean, with some of my favourite anime series (Bleach, FMA, Naruto...) there's plenty of stories for the het pairings, and even just general stories, but for KH, it seems like it's gay or nay! honestly? i like yuri better XD i don't know why. i think it started with me joking in my head that if the two female leads in Bleach and Naruto can't get the male lead for whatever reason (may it be because he's too dense or too focused on someone else stare ), they might as well just go with each other rofl agree with ya Seds *.* Soul/Maka is a delightful pairing X3 their dynamics are just so...perfect. the way they clash and yet compliment each other is just so...i dunno. any of the boyxboy pairings (fanmade or otherwise...) seem to compare to it. and i think i'm gonna do the same thing XD except, replace comic with book series and two straight guys with one guy and a person of ambiguous gender X3 it's gonna be tough, but i'm gonna try my damnest to screw with my fandom >D *evil cackles* (btw, this song sounds positively hot: Magnet; Boys Chorus. i like it better than the original girls version, and that says something)

Uhhh...How? @dark: for the most part, I tend to avoid it. Unless it's unavoidable, like for Hitman Reborn, I prefer MukuroxChrome or TsunaxKyoko. But I watched so many MukxTsu that Im kinda immune to it by now. Still, I wish I could find more of the het couples than the huge amount of guyxguy fanfics. Im not so much of yuri. Don't think I ever like it that much. Then again, I also said that about yaoi. lol Edit: Im in love with the song now. stressed

With Yugioh, I really fell in love with Seto... and then I saw a picture of Joey and Seto, and I was all: ; u ;
So I printed off pics of these two until I really started liking the pairing. LOL yay~ This is still one of my favorite pairings today because it was one of my firsts.

I like yaoi, I guess. It's the only 'romance' mangas that I like, unless the romance is not part of the main storyline. For some reason, most mangas do very badly with heterosexual relationships - it's the whole girl is the typical 'I'm so dumb/plain/unpopular but oddly cute' and the boy is the typical 'too hot to be real, too smart to be real, a*****e to everyone except for main girl,' s**t that I can't stand. Basically, it's Twilight syndrome.
I'm SUPER into Junjou Romantica. It's very, very inappropriate, but I love the stories so much. heart But I've been really slacking on manga in general.

Over ten years ago when CN was first showing GW I decided to delve into looking for stuff online for the first time and came upon the wonders of fanfiction and fanart. xD Of course this was also o1xo2 and o3xo4, so the first fanfiction I ever read and fanart I ever saw was shounen ai stuff. Been interested in it since, although more from fandom's point of view than actual shounen ai series. I won't go searching for actual yaoi stuff, but I might read it or look at it if I come across it in the meantime while looking for other things.

I have a boyfriend and I'm not into it as much xD; Its amazing how that works lol" oh man, that reminds me of when i went to Anime North just this year. while i was waiting in line, there were guys with a bell and signs and they were shouting "free yaoi for the masses!" rofl then there was when i was heading to the second venue for...something, i walked by these two guys that started making out with a bunch of girls watching (and it was obviously for this purpose). i found myself also watching in fascination (because it's not every day you see two real guys kissing in broad daylight), but i kept walking xp then there was the entire "Yaoi North" section, which i of course avoided like the plague despite being old enough to go in, unlike two of my friends from Japan Club at school (who would have gone in if they were old enough XD) i just remembered my local library has one or two shounen-ai/yaoi books XD poor people working there probably don't even know what they are.
