As the technology of the Celestials advanced, maintaining health has become a priority. Wounds, injuries, maladies, and illnesses are all but instantly solved now that the Sarra boasts this: the recovery tower. Shaped like a stalagmite, the entry levels are for more serious cases. The further up the tower one goes, the less vital the need. This hub, not far from the castle for the king, or from the portal to other worlds, serves as the focal point for much of the Sarra. A central point close to all that is required to maintain the health of one and all.

After the most recent disaster of Earth, Rael strides into the tower. Consumed with all that is going on, he sighs and pours attention over each injured soldier after soldier. None of them are passed over, and none are given a simple pat on the shoulder. One by one, the king sits and listens to them, talks, and does all he can to make them all smile. His duty to them is immense, and he feels it keenly. they need to know that they are not simple soldiers. They are important, and the King will not let them suffer defeat or loss alone.

Valenth followed Rael allthe way to the recovery tower. And even to each and every soldier that the king visited. While Rael talked to them to distract them, Vale used his healing ability to treat some of their injuries. The entire time, he listened to what Rael and the soldiers talked about, that same characteristic smile on his face as he worked.

Sabidan landed next to the entrance of the Recovery Tower. He tried not to look at the wounded, it would make him too sad. He quickly found Rael, with Valenth not far behind. "The Angels are prepped and ready, my lord." he said, bowing slightly.

Em entered under the threshold, looking around her grimly as her hair flashed an unattractive shade of grey, yet still holding her blue-ish tint to it. She walked over to the nearest injured and brushed her fingers through his hair. His eyes didn't open, and she figured he was asleep. She sincerely hoped he was asleep. Checking his bandages, she noted that his right arm was broken and wrapped, his wings were burned badly, also wrapped, and the backs of his legs were also burned horribly. In studying him briefly, it looked as if he tried to shield himself from the blast with his wings, unsuccessfully, and landed on his right arm. His head was also wrapped, and a small red spot appeared on his right temple. Earth was littered with rocks, so that was also a logical wound. She mouthed a silent prayer for him, closing her eyes slightly, then walked over to her king and bowed. "King Rael, it is always a pleasure to serve." Her eyes flicked up to the greater angel standing next to him. "Oh, hello Valenth." She added softly.

After a couple of minutes (by the time Sabidan and Em entered and approached Rael), Valenth had finished treating the soldier he was standing next to. He heard Em's greeting and gave her a smile. "Yo, Em!" he replied cheerfully with a grin as he moved next to the soldier Rael had been currently speaking with and began treating his injuries.

Roselia followed them in close behind, watching with a small smile as Rael attended every bedside in respect, before she went off to help some nurses with bandaging up a man with searing burns across his arms and front side. Roselia needed to contribute, even with a simple procedure such as this, it was the least she could do. As she was no longer needed with that patient, she moved onto the next: A thin, older angel who looked nothing like a soldier. Her forehead creased and her brow furrowed as she looked at his broken leg, arm and minor burns, along with a bloodied bandage around his head, stained as the same color as her hair. That was one thing about that trait that bothered her; although crimson stood for passion and love, it also meant anger and blood. A soothing hand moved to touch the man's cheek, and his hazel eyes opened to scan her, a painful smile moving onto his mouth. "Please, don't stress yourself, you're hurt," Roselia cooed. Aqua eyes flicked over to a familiar brown leather book and back to the man, then back to the book in shock. She picked up the journal carefully, flipping through the pages to confirm her suspicions. Pulling up a chair she sat, smiling genuinely at the angel as she took his bandaged hand gently in hers. "I've been reading your journal, you're Sandrell?" she asked, her voice soft, "Yes, and you're Roselia," the man responded with a raspy voice, "I've heard much of you. One of the greatest young scholars of Sarra. I hope you're not here to pull information out of me," that urged smile appeared on his face once more. Roselia shook her head with another smile, speechless that she was here with this man. She had been reading his own words about his life at the Alpha base up to this day.
Roselia's head arched up as she heard a small commotion going on about three or four patients down the row. Looking back at the man she stood, "I must go help out with the others now, I'll make sure that you will be alright," she smiled, both of her hands touching the man's in respect before attending to the other patient.

Rael moves through the groups, mostly done seeing them. The wounded are all happy to be alright, and the tower is healing them all admirably. The king, fighting the haunted urges of his failures, maintains his smile and even comes to a stop over by the very bed that Roselia just left. Taking a seat by the older Celestial, Rael takes up a hand, and smiles broadly. "Hello, old friend." The bedridden one opens his hazel eyes, and for a moment tries to sit up and rise. Rael simply put a hand on his chest, prompting him to remain down.
"No . . . you have been through more than enough. I just want to ensure you are alright." Over several minutes, the pair have a soft conversation on how things are going, how he is recovering, and even a quick note of how Roselia was just here. Rael smiles a bit more naturally at such. The Light is caring, helping, loving . . . to hear his people living up to that ideal is both comforting and expected. To hear it makes him happy. "Rest well, friend. You have earned it."
Rising, his smile fades as he no longer faces any individual. His face seems to harden, grow intense as he slowly walks out of the tower. There is work to do. Each wound feels to him as if it were on his own body. The pain compounding in his heart as he steels himself for what is to come.

Valenth watched as Rael left the infirmary. The angel seemed a little distressed. Vale made a mental note to get Rael to talk about his issues later. But there was no garuntee that Rael would even admit to his distress over this war.
That was when Vale moved to the next patient, the same old man that Roselia had been talking with. "So you decided to tag along, eh Rose?" Vale asked her as she turned to go tend to the other patients.

Enami watched Rael walk out of the infirmary. She sighed, wondering if there was anything that could possibly cheer him up. Well, other than the extinction of the human race... She sighed again. The actions those humans took were rash. It's like the value of life abandoned the hearts of humans long before this war. For centuries she watched their interactions, hoping they would change their ways.... But it never happened. As the look of despair shadowed her face, grey highlighted through her light blue hair. She shook off her sadness, and as the grey faded she walked over to another wounded soldier. Thankfully, her knowledge of plants helped as she looked over this person's wounds. A little juice here, some healing balm and salve there, and his burns and scratches already looked better. The heat began to fade from them, and the raised, angry welts and burns calmed down. The angel was asleep as she worked quietly, and she heard him sigh in relief as the pain faded. Her fingers slid gently through his hair, and she kissed him on his forehead before she moved to the next injured. It might take a while, but she was determined to tend to each of them.

Roselia turned as Valenth addressed her, the determined look on her face becoming softer as she met his gaze. "Yes, of course," she answered, "I feel more useful helping to ensure that my people live than going to end the lives of others," she said softly, referring to the soon to come fighting that would result from all of this. To soothe her somewhat harsh words, she added, "I am not a skilled fighter, and the only way I'd be on the battlefield is if the Archangels so will it," her icy eyes turned downwards at the thought of the days where she would flank the battle, ending the lives of those enemies who were on the brink of death, wounded on the Earth's infertile soil. Looking back up she covered her emotions with a small smile, "I haven't seen you in a while, how have you been, Vale?" she asked gently, not wanting to disturb the patients that had been lucky enough to sleep through the pain.

((omg... I'm talking to a Roselia in this rp and a Rosalie in a completely different rp... O_o hopefully I don't get confused! lol))
"Good. Being helpful is much better than going out there and doing other things." Vale agreed with an amused smile. He had caught on to her harsh tone about the fighting, and tried to help her lighten the mood a bit by saying what he had. "Don't worry. I'm sure the day you join the battle field will never come." he added with his same smile that he always used.
He was about to start helping the injured old man when he heard Roselia's question. He glanced at her quickly before starting to heal the old man's wounds. A greenish light surrounded Vale's hands as he worked. "I've been doing alright. Thanks for asking." he stated, "Been coming in and out of this place for a while, making use of my minor healing abilities." he joked with a light chuckle. Everyone pretty much knew that Vale's real talent lay with manipulating the weather.

((Haha, that's a coincidence ;P))
Roselia gave Vale a demure smile as he lightened the mood, thanking him silently. Though he assured her the day she joined the battle would never come, she knew that it was very unlikely. Her ability to gain knowledge from those she killed was too important in winning the war. Knowing where the next surprise attack would occur, preventing sabotage and the like were too valuable in ending the war quickly and sufficiently. She gently pushed those thoughts away, as she usually did, and walked over to Sandrell as Vale began healing him, stroking the older angel's scalp softly. Roselia nodded at Vale's statement, slightly envying his power. Having the power to heal, even if minuscule, was much more befitting of an angel than gaining knowledge from killing. Although from her studies she had learned many things that could help in such circumstances, she always wondered why she was provided such a gruesome gift. She thought of it more as a burden.
Pushing a strand of bright red hair behind her ear she stood back up, smiling down at the journalist with admiration. Talk of the oncoming war was in itself weighing heavily on her conscience, so instead she thought of the only shard of hope that had presented itself. "I'm surprised of the king's acceptance toward the Cambion," she said quietly, still looking down at the elder angel, "I just hope it will last.." her voice became even quieter. She would never question Rael's judgments, she only hoped that this possible allegiance would be true and unfaltering. The thought of earning the other race's trust and shattering due to the new found hatred of humans burned a hole in her mind. Their alliance would create much more potential in recreating a beautiful and thriving Earth.
Only a second after the words slipped from her deep red lips, Rael's broadcast came to life on the almost holographic projector in the very center of the large room. Roselia turned from Sandrell quickly to watch and listen. A pained and unsure expression developed on her face, but was quickly washed away, hidden so that others would not deem her a coward or against the king's ideas. Before the broadcast was even through, Roselia sat down next to the elder angel once more, who had fallen asleep despite the commotion, due to the relief Vale had given him from his pain. She longed to ignore the shouts and murmurs pertaining to Rael's words, but it was too much to bare. With another attempt to mask her true thoughts, Roselia stated, "If Rael believes it is the right decision.." she said more to herself than anyone else.

((I'm sorry for keeping you stuck, Blossom! crying I couldn't think of anything to post for the longest time for poor Valenth!))
"Yes. That agreement is rather puzzling, isn't it?" Vale asked in response to Rose's statement about the partnership between Rael and the single Cambion. It truly was a puzzling thing to him. Why, after so long of a time, would Rael be making an alliance with a Cambion: a race that was considered an abomination here on Sarra. Rael himself had often expressed his disdain for the Cambions and Nephilims.
That was when Rael's announcement appeared over the projector. A very faint and nearly undetectable frown appeared along his brow line. He wasn't expecting such a rash motion onto the offensive, and so soon too. "I all we can do is grin and bear it, eh, Roselia?" Vale asked, his mood light now as he gave a small smile to her once he was finished with the healing of the older angel.

((Eh, don't worry about it. Now I'm not sure what to do n_n"))
"I guess so," Roselia said, giving Vale a wavering smile. Giving the elderly angel one last glance, she stood. "Well, I don't know about you, but I think I'll go and see if I'm needed elsewhere," she said quietly, disliking the sudden blast of murmurs and banter about the war that was just moments ago declared. "Until we meet again, Vale," Roselia said warmly with a smile. She was glad to know that someone else shared her thoughts on the ongoing events happening on Sarra and on Earth, it eased her mind slightly.
Roselia walked elegantly toward the glass doors leading back out into Sarra, taking one last glance back at Vale before exiting the Recovery Tower.
((Moving to Sarra))
