The snow had come down rather hard last night, leaving in it's wake a blanket of the white fluffy stuff.

Up on top of one of best sledding hills in the town was Bovidae Harrington, his brightly colored features making him an easy spot against the bright white snow. There were a couple of kids there, but as for sledding custom, they kept to themselves or the group they had come with.

Bovi was still unsure if he enjoyed the snow or not. His feet got cold rather fast, but sledding was a thrill and a half, especially if you hit the steepest part of the hill. His ankle wings flapped, trying to ward away any signs of frostbite. His newly aquired tail flicked in anticipation, waiting for the group of kids that had went down before him to get out of harms way before he could leap into his plasic saucer of a sled and barrel down the snow once more, allowing physics to once again generate that lovely rush of speed and wind.

"Neh?" was the sound that trickled out of Bovi's mouth when he heard his name called. His pointy ears wiggled a bit and he turned to see where the sound was coming from. He at once knew who it was. He knew no other with that color of hair and that large of a tail together.

"Shy!" he chimed and smiled. "It's so nice to see you again! You've gotten bigger too," he commented.

Bovi laughed a bit. "I've been good! How have you been doing?"

His green scaled tail wiggled a bit at being mentioned. "Thanks, makes the growing pains that came with it worth it."

He peered down the hill again and saw that the last group had gotten out of the way. He looked back to Shy with a grin. "You want to ride down with me?" he inquired.

"New sister? Is she from the labs or somewhere else?" Bovi asked, tilting his head. He then looked down at his sled for a moment.

"Different," he said finally. "I don't think we can both fit on one..." he said with a nod before setting his one flat on the edge of the hill and sitting himself down, anchoring himself down as to not accidently take off while waiting for Shy to get ready.

Bovi shoved off as soon as soon as Shy did, tucking himself in to garner as little wind resistance as possible. Sadly his braid weasled it's way out of his grip and whipped about in the wind, which was amusing until the tie slid off, making his usually tidy hair spray out all over the place. By the time he slowed to a stop, Bovi was no more than a stringy purple mass with wings popping out near the bottom.

"Can't...see..." he stammered as he attempted to get to his feet, but misstepped and stepped on the sled, which quickly zipped out from under him, sending him down into the snow.

Bovi was silent for a few seconds before from under the mass of snow and hair came a loud string of laughs.

"Yeah I'm good," he said as he wiggled himself to sit upright before tending to his hair to at least remove it from his face so he could see again.

"Bleh," he commented as he worked. "My hair may look nice but it sure doesn't taste it..." He then dug around in a pocket and found a spare hair tie. Sure, he wouldn't get it back into the braid until later but hey, sacrifices must be made in the sake of amusement. Once his hair was in a semi-manageable ponytail he looked at Shy.

"Wanna go again?"
