LOG 1.

Rosa was tending to her garden when he arrived; graceful as ever. She wasn't going to tell herself that she hadn't been eying him since he'd joined the herd; it was too obvious. He was strong, handsome, kind; everything she wanted.
"Rosa," He spoke her name and she almost fainted at the sound of his voice. "I trust you've been well." Always so polite even though they hardly knew each other.
"I have, thank you, Unity."
"Has Malina been well?" His voice was etched with concern and love for his beloved daughter. He was an amazing father.
"She's been awaiting your return as usual." Rosa smiled and turned to him, the sunlight dancing off of her hair and wings. "She missed you a lot."

Unity's breath caught in his throat; she was gorgeous, no doubt about it. She was kind, though she had moments where she was stubborn and sarcastic but Unity liked that about her. He had watched her from afar; too nervous to talk to her. He was old fashioned, she was independant; he didn't know what she would see in him.

"I.. I should go and make sure she's okay and tell her I'm home."
"Chances are she already knows." Rosa said, turning back to her flowers; a little hurt that their time together was short.
Unity opened his mouth to say something but shook his head and turned, going to find Malina.

Rosa put down her watering can and sighed. How was it that a man could change her so much? She hated the effect he had on her but she didn't want it to stop at the same time.

LOG 3.

Unity lay down, his illusions suddenly disappearing; they weren't the same and they simply made him more lonely. He wanted the real thing; not some cheap imitation.
'Rosa,' he mumbled, a sigh of content soon following her name.
'Yes?' She whispered, landing softly behind him, wings folding to close.
Unity's head snapped up and he turned around, eyes landing on his beauty illuminated by the light of the moon.
'Ah,' was all that escaped his lips before he was tongue tied. Had she seen anything? He wanted to slap himself for being so foolish; she's probably come to tell him to leave the herd or she'll tell Gylden.
Rosa sat next to him and looked up at the sky, a look of deep concentration on her face. 'I don't know,' she mumbled. 'What it is you've done to me, but I like it; which is strange.'

Unity's eyes widened. 'I'm sorry; for whatever it was I did. Please, forgive me!'
Rosa laughed and the sound was music to Unity's ears. 'It's not like you meant to do it.'
'What is it I did?'
Rosa turned and looked directly into his eyes, her own a swirling sea of emotions. He could pick each out and then, he knew.
'Oh.' Was all he managed to get out before her lips were against his.

LOG 5.

Malina ran from the house, Arma and Ariluna following closely behind her with Gylden, Night Star and Faisca in the air. Malina had felt it and Arma had seen it in the water. There was trouble brewing in the herd involving Unity and Rosa.
'Papa!' Malina called, eyes searching around franticly for him. 'Where are you!?'
'Up ahead!' Gylden called, her voice etched with concern and fear. 'Malina, slowly. I don't know what that is.'
Malina ignored Gylden's request and pressed on. She stopped, suddenly, her eyes finally gazing upon what Gylden was concerned about. A giant black structure. Malina took a step forward. 'My father is in there!' She could feel him; they were always connected.
Malina closed her eyes, brilliant blue birds flittering about in front of her. 'Find an entry.' She whispered to them.
The birds flew forward and as soon as they were a meter in front of the structure, they disappeared and Malina shrieked. 'Something's wrong.'

'Where is Rosa?' Ariluna whispered to herself.
'Gone.' Arma replied, nonchalantly. 'She flew away after..' He blushed and Ariluna nodded; he was too embarrassed to talk about what he'd seen happen between Rosa and Unity.
Gylden, Faisca and Night Star landed softly on the ground in front of the structure. 'I don't want anyone to go near it until we figure out what is going on.'
'But-' Malina started and Gylden glared at her.
'That's an order; do not disobey it.' She growled harshly. She hated being so harsh, especially since Malina could not help being concerned, but she did not want to lose anyone.
'We need to find Rosa. She may be able to help.' Gylden sighed, contemplating what to do for a moment. 'Faisca, Night Star, you two will go in search for Rosa. Arma said she flew West from here. She's fast, but you two are faster.'
Faisca and Night Star didn't hesitate in leaving. They flew into the air just as Intira bounded into the area. 'The darkness here is almost blocking out the sunlight.' She shuddered and sat down, humming to herself and the sun.

LOG 7.

Rosa nuzzled her mate, smiling wistfully at him as they reminisced about how they met and their lives since then.
"I remember when I though I'd lost you." Rosa's disposition suddenly changed and she saddened as she remembered that day.
-Flashback of doom-
"Unity?" Rosa called as she landed with the others in the field. "What are you doing? Come out and talk to me!"
Unity stirred inside his foretress and groaned, a sorrowful sound that,strangely enough, everyone heard; despite the walls. "You don't want me and I can't bare to live with that."
Rosa took a step forward and Malina stepped to stop her, but Rosa shook her head. "I'm not afraid," she smiled sweetly. "He won't hurt me." Lightning struck from the illusion and Rosa whinced as it struck her front leg, though she pressed on, ignoring the pain. "Unity.. I didn't leave you because I didn't want you! I left because I was afraid of what you'd think of me. It was stupid. And I'm sorry. Please come out."
"I saw the look of disgust."
"You of all people should know the truth when it's spoken! Unity, I love you." She pressed forward and let out a small scream, lightning surrounding her more. "Please.."
Unity heard her cry out and something inside him clicked. He was hurting her; something he never wanted to do. He tried to get rid of his illusion but it was no use; he'd lost control. "Rosa! I can't stop! Get away!"
"Not without you, dear."
"Why won't you leave me.."
"Because a family isn't complete without a father."
"What are you talking about?"
"I'm pregnant." Unity didn't respond; not that he was given a chance to. Rosa rushed at the fortress and barged it with all she had; ignoring the pain it caused her. "That's why I'm not leaving without you! Now come out!"
Unity barged the wall; trying to break through to her. He saw cracks appearing and they grew bigger with each strike. He broke through the wall and landed on the ground; before Rosa who lay, unmoving. He moved quickly to her and stroked her hair. "Rosa!? Say something.."
"Mmn.."
That was all he needed. he scooped her into his arms; along with Malina who came bounding over. "I'm so sorry."

LOG 9.

Rosa sat in a clearing, trying not to let tears spill; though they pushed against her closed eyes. All she wanted was to have more children. She though Unity would be happy to do so; she thought he wanted to make her happy. Had their whole relationship been a lie? Did he just want her so that he could have someone to carry on his legacy? She'd given him that and now he just kept her around for pity's sake.
That did it; the tears forced their way through now partly opened eyes and Rosa allowed them to fall. She'd never felt so heart broken or alone in her life. How could he do this to her? She had risked her life and the life of their children to save him. She loved him unconditionally. He was breaking her heart.
She began to sob and scolded herself for being so foolish. Surely he must have a reason. She should at least give him a chance to explain; he deserved that much. Rosa stood, wiping her tears and unfolded her wings, taking flight and heading back to where she hoped Unity was waiting for her.
