Dozens of Tengu flood this vacant snowfield. Their supernatural speed seems to have been eliminated and their reactions slowed significantly- though a Jounin might only JUST be a match for them! Stand strong!
The Mizukage is overseeing this front!

This party's gettin' crazy...... The Mizukage didn't waste a second. She'd heard the Hokage's plan, barked out her orders to her shinobi and lept in with all the forces of Kirigakure behind her. This would be a bloody, savage battle! Suijin was in her element. No need and no time to worry about how she appeared to her fellow kages; no reason to hold back a punch; it was time to show what the Kage of the Blood-Mist Village was all about! But she had to remember- she was to fight for the village; she was to protect everyone of Kirigakure that was in her power to do so; she had to bring as many shinobi back home as she could and she had to make sure they won. Otherwise Kiri would be in danger and her son with it. She could not die. Failure and death were not an option. They would be victorious! The genin had already been commanded not to stray from their squads and jounin leaders, the chunin, jounin, Black Ops. and Seven Swordsmen were free to stomp out the Tengu where they saw fit. A medic squad or two was stationed back at the border, since the injured would be headed there. Naturally, Nyirei, Devonte, Shouta and Keizo weren't all to far from their Mizukage. In the vast field, there seemed to be nothing but Tengu soldiers. The warriors of the Village Hidden in the Mist were closing in, their weapons bared, several in the air thanks to their own jutsus, they tried not to waste too much energy on the enitial charge. The Tengu were even closer every moment... 100 yards..... 80 yards..... 60....20- savage battle cries errupted from the throats of the Mist army. Howls were heard from the Raiken clan's wolven bretheren, who must have been just summoned to the fight, in response- And the battle erupted! The sound of swords clashing was deafening. It didn't take long untill each shinobi had their own opponent. Mizukage Suijin's blade was locked with one of the giant brutes. She would never admit it, but she was a bit on the short side. The Tengu were a full foot taller than she was if not way more! They swung viciously at each other. Slashes that just missed made sharp whistle as they whipped through the air, but they were instantly followed by loud echoing as their swords met again sending small sparks flying out. The Mizukage's attacks came swift, ferocious and powerful. The Tengu soldier wasn't a push-over either. For a moment their swords locked, steel grinding against steel as both warriors bore down on each other with immense stregnth. "Heh. Guys are pretty tough aren't'cha?" she growled out with sadistic delight. They shoved against each other at once, sending them both a few steps back- though the silent, stoic Tengu only faltered a step or two. "Oooo... Not bad! You guys sure make damn good party hosts- I must say!" She chuckled, bringing her black sword back up to defend herself from the Tengu's blade as he/she/it wasted no time with it's next strike. "HRRRAAAAAAHHH!!" the Mizukage roared as their dance of death ensued. .....LET'S ROCK!

No one expected the Kazekage to show up right on the Eastern front. Nor did anyone expect to see him so... Bloodthirsty. Only one stood by his side as he marched on ahead to meet with the Tengu army, and that was his wife; his only true comrade and companion in war. They faced hell on earth like no one had ever seen, and now, they would face it again. Together. For better or worse. All the Sand's finest jonin and ops were lined in the back. The chunin and genin were lined first in formation. And much to Sazoru's sick pleasure, only he remained at the front of his army. He had even DRESSED for the occassion. In his finest of robes of silk and satin. He wanted to see just how long they would last when he emerged out of this war victorious. As they came closer, all were blown back by a wave of fire as the Kazekage release the Tail of the Ouroborus on the first half that charged directly at them, and then, the battle had began. Against the many horror stories about his lord of wind, only his wife fought with such ferocity against the Tengu army, while he, remained calm and quiet among the frontier. Slowly walking his way toward the middle of it all... Though he may have appeared solid and still, his eyes burned with a lust that was unspeakable for his men to believe... The Kazekage was alive... At long last, his soul had slept with such bliss and ignorance, that he had thought to be dead. But no. The beast was alive and watching. Waiting... "LORD SAZORU! LOOK O--!"
Out of all the fools of his enemy's men, it had to be this one. This one that had managed to chop off his head. He may have been thin. He may have been lanky, lean, and lithe compared to the burly man who tried to cut his head clean off his shoulders... ... But it was his hand he should've feared the most. For what he had in it was his head. And the bandaids that he kept wrapped around his arms. "Dog... That was a good try..." Without another word, he buried his chakra deep within the man's head and detonated it as the soldier's head blew up. "But not even your blood's worth a spill on my robes. Honestly. Did you really think that you're brains were worth the scatter on this snow?" He then untied his bandages rather loosely from his arms and flung them in multiple directions as the Tengu came at him with such blinding speed, only to have their arms, legs, and heads blown off by his wraps. "SAZORU! YOU'RE MAKING A MESS! STOP IT!" He had only scoffed at his wife's barking order and rolled his eyes, tying them back on as she continued to fight and protect her husband from the many soldiers that had tried to get past her with their blinding speed. He knew the rules; he'd be used as a last resort compared to the pawns they had set out first. And so far, they were dying miserably. They had just got past their chunin. So it was only a short matter of time before he'd get to defend his own... If and WHEN, that is...Kazekage Fight Theme

This party's gettin' crazy...... Slashing wildly, but precisely, the Mizukage never, for one moment let up on her attacks. Neither did the blindingly fast Tengu! She made a diagonal strike- the Tengu blocked The Tengu made a swipe at her stomach- she swung hard causing his blade to be repelled back Using the speed of her follow-through, she brought her sword up over her head and slashed downward- the Tengu lept back several feet to get away from the massive sword. The Tengu lunged at her- she dodged right and swung at its head. While they fought, the Mizukage said- "You know... I kinda took a likeing to those kids from Snow you terrorized...."It swung its blade around to cut her in the side- she saw it and wipped out Ivory to block its blade. She took the opportunity to chop off its sword-wielding arm then kicked it hard in its torso, pushing the Tengu soldier away. "Consider that a small retribution for Rakutsu's arm. I can get the other arm from one of your buddies." She sneered. The Tengu staggered backwards a bit, but quickly regained its footing and charged at her. With no weapon, it kicked and swung it's fists at the Mizukage, who dodged and kept sending strikes at her opponent. The Tengu soldier ducked and dodged her blade. To most others, it's speed wouldn't have seemed to drop even the slightest- but it did. The smallest fraction of a percent was dropped on his speed as it 'bled'. Luckily that tiny percent was just enough to give Lady Mizukage the edge she needed. As the Tengu punched at her once more, she gripped Oniago vertically, in front of her with two hands; her upward hand twisted the handle, opening Oniago's great jaw. It opened the same instant the bruteish warrior would have hit her face, but she bent far backwards to duck and his arm slipped through the split blade. With a smirk, she released the twist-lock on her broad sword, clamping it shut on the Tengu's arm. Now it only had 3/4ths of an arm. One was cut at the elbow and the other cut just above that. Her body snapped back up and she was about to hit the Tengu in the head with the blunt side of her blade- but as soon a she was upright again, a foot was slammed into her stomach. Her eyes went wide and she gritted teeth with a grunt as she was sent flying backwards several yards. She'd barely seen it in time to use a vector shield just strong enough to save her from the worst of the damage. The worst she'd get was a damn ugly bruise. She'd nearly dropped her sword, but her fighter's instincts kicked in just before it left her grip and her hand remained steady. The moment she hit the ground she rolled backwards to get back on her feet. The Mizukage scolded herself for making such a novice mistake as she righted herself. 'THIS IS NO TIME TO GET COCKEY! THE ******** THE MATTER WITH YOU? FOCUS YOU LITTLE CRAPBAG! .....s**t, these guys are strong.....' she growled to herself. She was up against an armless Tengu; there wasn't much he could do anymore. Sword still in hand, the Mizukage did not move a muscel. The Tengu was about to attack again when Suijin shot out a vector-arrow, slicing off his head. 'I'll just have to be stronger.' she thought with a smirk. Everywhere on the battlefield blood was being spilt. Each individual skirmish was even more brutal than the next. But after a few minutes, a victor was decided be it Tengu or Kiri nin. Much to the Mizukage's pleasure, they weren't doing half as bad as she had thought. Their formation was working strongly. Comrades assisted each other where absolutely necessary, sure the Tengu were taking many lives, but they just might pull through this in fair numbers. (meaning: just over half- more if they're lucky.) Then... who would'a thunk it! Of all people! The Sand ninja decided to show up after all! Weren't doing so well though. "Pft. What the hell was this guy thinking?" The Mizukage scoffed. That kind of attack pattern only served to kill off one's own shinobi in a war like this. She knew that well enough and had only been a kage less than a month! Moving her mind off the Kazekage and his pitiful battle strategy, she grinned. "Well, technically they're semi-aquatic. I think. If not... the sea's nearby.... Heh. Unagishima...." The Mizukage bit into her thumb to draw blood. She made a few quick handsigns and launched herself in the air with her vectors, leaving two small craters next to where she once stood. "YOU'RE GONNA HATE ME FOR THIS!" She yelled with a wild grin, thrusting her bloodied hand towards the ground below her as she fell. 'Summoning!' Her feet hit ground way sooner than they should have, but it didn't throw the Mizukage off one step. She knew it was coming, and she wasn't standing on the ground. What she was standing on was the head of a great eel! Most of the Tengu moved out of the way in time to avoid the massive eel, but still, a couple of them had been unfortunate enough to be right under the Mizukage's feet at the time. "Add up those with my first one and I'd say that's about five." she said to herself, not forgetting the contest of course! "SUIJIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!!!" bellowed the great eel as he thrashed his tail furiously. Luckily- the Mist shinobi had known enough to get the ******** away from that monster! A few, who's opponents had scattered when he appeared moaned out things like- 'why'd it hve to be him?' But were quickly thrown back into battle as the Tengu wasted no time waiting for things to settle down. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING SUMMONING ME IN A FRIGGID WASTELAND LIKE THIS!!! I OUGHT'A KILL YOU RIGHT NOW YOU BLOODY WITCH!!! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM!?!" His voice was probably echoing all through out the Land of Snow, but she didn't care. She just gripped her Mizukage hat steady, and held her footing. Devonte, Nyirei, and Shouta could be seen nearby the eel, fending off any Tengu who might get too close to their Kage. As were the Seven Swordsmen- that was their duty after all. "YEAH, AND DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO I AM? NEWS FLASH FOR YA! I WAS JUST MADE THE MIZUKAGE A MONTH AGO!" she hollered back, with a snide grin on her face. "WHAT? YOU? WHO WAS THE IDIOT WHO DECIDED ON THAT!" Though he wasn't really shouting anymore, his voice still boomed against the winds, carrying across all three fronts of the battle. "Does it matter right now? Look! we're right in the middle of a battle field here!! So if you don't wanna become a nice dish of unagi to feed the entire Tengu army I suggest getting your a** in gear!" sure she knew the Tengu didn't really need to eat anything but it just sounded like the thing to say. "Hm?" he looked down to see the war that was raging on, and the battles to the west could bee seen vaguely from their stand point as well. "Careful, these guys are tricky. They're not quite human.""Hm.... yes... I can see that." he said in agreement. "They're fast. And they're tough. The only way to stop 'em is to kill them completely. Even taking off both arm ain't enough to slow them down." she explained. It seemed as if the other Kiri nin had noticed so as well. Where as certain shinobi, that Mizukage Suijin knew for a fact, attacked using smaller strikes to slowly take down an opponent, even they seemed to be striking for 'certain death' hits. "Feh. You owe me for this kid." he growled. That meant he was in for the fight. "But since there's no WATER my strength will be limmited!""I know. But I need to get these men and women out of here alive. And every minute counts as the life of a Mist shinobi is taken." she spoke more solemnly now. Unagishima knew when that tone was used, she wasn't just playing around. .....LET'S ROCK!

Ruka gasped as she looked up to see the great eel and the Mizukage commanding it. That woman... she obviously wasn't holding back... "Ruka-dear, this isn't working," said Sazoru in his usual sing-song voice, though to be honest, it wasn't sugar-coated like it usually was. This time it sounded sarcastic. It was obvious that their men, HIS men, were being killed off quite quickly. Ruka then shut her eyes closed and gritted her teeth, killing her last Tengu with a Shikan dagger. She knew what she had to do... "You die, I swear to god I will NEVER forgive you as LONG AS I LI--!" Without a word, he grabbed her waist and held her in with a long, deep kiss before pushing her away with a smug smirk, "Get going, soldier woman." She then ran ahead into the crowd and disappeared from his reach, his eyes falling to his hands as she did so. He then chuckled and performed another of his jutsus before shaking the earth and making it rumble and tremble under the feet of the many men and women that stood on it. "EARTH STYLE! EARTH DISRUPTER!" The ground shook harder. More violently. But ah, that was just the tip of the iceberg. He'd make sure the earth's latitude would be hard to evade and avoid so long as he disrupted it. Made it all the more easier for him to kill them off... "FIRE STYLE!" he roared, his eyes crazed with a wild smile, "OUROBORUS COMPLETION!" The complete Ouroborus. The devourer of devourers. He had released it all across the Tengu's forces and wiped out a good half of them. The force was great. Terrifying if not striking to behold. But to be honest, he was being more reckless than subtle. Hell, he was having the time of his life right now... All the more reason to stay alive and tell the tale to his kids. This party's getting crazy..... http://www.spirit-oasis.com/images/unagi.jpg"HEY YOU! WATCH IT DOWN THERE! IF YOU TAKE OUT SO MUCH AS ONE GENIN FROM MIST I SWEAR I'LL YOU'LL END UP RIGHT IN THIS GUY'S GUT!!!" she bellowed down at the Kazekage, jabbing her tumb down at Unagishima. Sure, her moves were typically just as flamboyant as his, but at least she tried to controll such recklessness. "So, you got a plan kid?"Turning back to the great eel king, she smirked. "Take out as many Tengu as we can without harming my subordinates or our allies.""Tch. That much I could work out for myself. Who're we fighting? Konoha?""Nope. Actually, they're our allies.""What?! What the hell's been going on these days!""Just attack the massive freaks in the masks!" she commanded, waving her hand out in front of her, pointing at the Tengu forces before them. "You got it!" The giant eel brought up it's enormous tail and lashed out at the Tengu. Many dodged, but almost just as many were struck and most died on imapct, their bodies crushed in the Snow. He darted around the enemy lines, attacking the Tengu as he went. Suijin held herself steady on Unagishima's head, she was used to riding the Emperor Eels like this. And if she could handle Kimioki's frightening speed, she could handle his wild thrashing. But the Tengu got smart fast and Tried attacking the eel itself. Individual strikes were nothing but pinpricks to the great eel, but when they started attacking in larger numbers is when something had to be done. "Fire at them on my command!" The Mizukage shouted, making a series of handsigns. Unagishima readied himself for a massive blast. "NOW!" He opened his mouth and a powerful jet of water surged out of the great beast's mouth. The water hit the back lines of the Tengu army like a tsunami. Of course that wouldn't be enough to take them out, the Mizukage planned on that. Clapping her hands together, she made the last handsign for her jutsu. "BLASTING RAIN TORRENTS!!!" The water collected in the air, dropping the Tengu soldiers hard on the ground. The Mist shinobi took every chance they had to kill as many of the momentarily disoriented Tengu as they could. The water collected for the Blasting Rain Torrents shot over to the Mizukage in a large whip-like stream and hovered above her head just behind her. It morphed into the form of something like a cross between a leviathan and a werewolf with massive clawed hands and fin-like appendages. Lady Mizukage took a savage fighting stance, crouching low and arms bent in front of her like she was about to attack. The water-beast made the same movements as if mirroring hers, above Unagishima. It was about half of the Emperor Eel's length. Suijin found this to be the most effective way to use this jutsu. Another small mob of Tengu came at Unagishima from their left, as fast as ever- but now she was prepared. Raising her left arm, the Torrents beast did the same and they slammed their hands/claws down in perfect unison. The ground where they once had been ruptured underneath the force of the Rain Torrents, sending chunks of earth flying out. As they fought, the Mist ninja did their best to stay out of their Mizukage's and now the Kazekage's way. The fighting was bloody and brutal. As the Kiri nin continued to hack down the Tengu, the Tengu continued to hack down the Kiri nin. And the Tengu's numbers were still pretty massive. Lady Mizukage's Torrent beast remained the same distance above her and the eel and swiped at the Tengu again and again, keeping them away from Unagishima as he continued to swing his tail and chomp at the brute, stoic soldeirs. Sure- one looking at this onslaught might see it as slight over-kill, but it was necessary. Fighting them hand-to-hand took too damn long. And as long as she could be the ever-living s**t out of them this way, well- it was a few more lives that Kiri didn't lose. She fought savagely, protecting her eel partner, her comrades and her shinobi. Occasionally, if she caught someone really struggling with a Tengu or several, she would send out a tendrill of swirling water to strike them. If it didn't kill the soldier, it kocked them down hard enough for it's ninja opponent to finish it off. Her blood heated up with intense blood-lust more and more with each kill. As she fought she counted in her head- "FOURTY-SIX.......FOURTY-SEVEN.....FIFTY- WOOOOOO-HOOHOOOOOOOOO!!! TAKE THIS MOTHER-F**KERS!!!!!!!" -she belted out wildly, throwing her head back then booming out an insane, bestial laugh. The Torrents beast mirrored her actions for everyone to see. Her face had contorted to a warped, monsterous look, and her grin had spread wide across her face. "KA-HA! HAVIN' FUN UP THERE SUIJIN?!" Devonte called up at her from the bloodied snowfield. Suijin saw Dev just in time to see him yank his axe out of a fallen Tengu who had been utterly mutilated by the brown-haired smoker. "HOW MANY?" she shouted back. Though Nyirei answered first. "SEVEN!" -Nyirei. "FOUR!" -Shouta. "NINE!" -Devonte. No doubt they had all had help with the slaughter of their victims, but their rules were and always have been- whoever makes the finishing blow gets to claim the target as theirs. "FIFTY!""WHAT???""NO WAY!"The Mizukage scanned the battlefield for a second. There was something she should be hearing, but she wasn't.... she opened her mouth to say something when she heard it! There was the sharp sound of a guitar ringing out from the other side of Unagishima. Her head turned to see old man Keizo with the head and neck of his guitar lodged in the chest of a Tengu. It had already lost an arm and half it's head. Keizo yanked his guitar back and quickly had to dodge the Tengu's sword. His steel guitar looked different. The head was bladed and metal spikes stuck out from one side of it's body. A weapon fitting the old rocker. The two charged each other and their weapons clashed again and again. There was a loud echoing as the body of the steel guitar met the Tengu's sword. Keizo swung hard at it's head and it swung in the same moment as he. Both their strikes hit. The spikes of the guitar struck the Tengu at its head and neck; the Tengu's sword slashed across Keizo's stomach. "URGH!" Keizo grunted. he was bleeding pretty badly- though the wound didn't appear immediately life threatening. The Tengu's neck was broken and it's half-head was stuck to the side, but it didn't seem too effected....or effected at all because it attacked again anyway! .....LET'S ROCK!

"Sorry dear, I can't hear you over the depris~!" he shouted back, continuing to make the earth shake and quake despite the rain torrents ruptures and violent outburst. Mind you, his royal highness was only egging her on; she'd do alot more damage if she'd just let it out... 'TWAG' His head turned the moment he heard the sound of a guitar hitting someone's head. Bad idea. Really, really bad idea. He should've saw it coming. He should've seen it coming. But no. Only his wife did. And not even she could've stopped it... Because the moment he had his back turned, a Tengu had sliced his arm right off his shoulder... ... Never had anyone screamed so loud. "Ngghhh..." He could still see it; it was over there, somewhere. It's sleeve bloody and soaked from what remained of the lifeless limb. It was a rather pecuiliar feeling, not having an arm; what astounded him was losing it. He couldn't... feel it anymore... he couldn't feel anything. Yet somehow, his mind still imagined the pain and the anguish of losing a limb. HIS limb. Was it real or was it just an illusion? He couldn't tell... But... everything was getting... kind of blurry... Was someone choking him? For all he knew, it could've been his wife. No. This ugly ******** had a mask on. Figures. Death was such a coward. Especially when he looked for it. It never seemed to face him the right direction... "Heh... I may be ********... but at least I can see your face now..." he groaned, chuckling a bit before laughing, "AND DAMN ARE YOU UGLY!" He couldn't breath. Damn. He done pissed Death off now... Wait... No, that was his wife. His wife had stabbed the ******** in the head with a Shikan blade. Ruka. That woman... She was an angel. She was a goddamn goddess. She was it. She was just IT. ... And if she had stepped in a few minutes ago, he'd still have his arm. 'Ah, well...' he thought, smiling for a bit, 'No use crying over spilt milk... I'll get over it... Least I kept my head.' This party's gettin' crazy.... "Keizo!!!" Her former sensei was injured and in serious s**t! Sure he would probably die but like HELL would she let him go down so easily! She sent out a thin chakra vector to yank him out of the Tengu's reach. The Torrents still moved with her as she made another set of handsigns, drew more blood, smeared it on her wrist over her tattoo and thrust out her arm at the Tengu. "SUMMON!" A 50ft, Saw-tooth eel shot out from the mark at the Tengu. He skidded to a stop and jumped back just before the eel struck him, but it too skidded on the ground, turned it's head towards the Tengu and with a flick of it's tail, lept at the masked soldier- gnashing it's jaws. As the eel chased the Tengu, the Mizukage pulled out a knife from her coat. It's blade was black and it's handle had crude markings carved from ebony. (unlike it's twin who's marks were careved elegantly from ivory) She threw it hard while the Tengu was distracted and sliced off the rest of his head. There was a black cord that came from the end of Ebony's handle and extended back to the Mizukage's index finger. With the Tengu virtually useless, Keizo charged back at the soldier and finished him off by smashing it's body with the steel guitar; sending out another string of sour notes that echoed around their vicinity. Satisfied, the old man grinned and strummed a few chords- as if to spite the fallen soldier and the man who created them. Apparently he had some ability to read minds; perhaps her heard and saw the old man simply playing his guitar while the Tengu's leader caused so much chaos around him. "Hey old man! Ain't that going a little overboard?" she chuckled with a snide smirk. With a flick of her wrist, the black cord whipped around and made a sharp wrrrrrrrrr-ing sound as Ebony returned to her hand. He returned her gaze with that creepy-a** grin of his. The Kazekage's words just reached her, and she turned her head to see Ruka stepping in to save his a**. With the Rain Torrents still up she flipped up the middle finger, making the Torrent beast do the same. Those of Mist around her who had enough time to spare a glance broke out in laughter as they saw the were-leviathan flipping off who cares who! But their chuckles died swiftly as they were thrown back into battle. Even as Keizo was attacked by yet another Tengu, he kept playing. His notes rang out awkwardly when he attacked and blocked with his instrument but his tune somehow remained on track. He made a few handsigns and stone spikes shot out from the ground below the Tengu. It tried leaping away again and again as the spikes followed him, shooting from under his feet almost immediately as he touched ground but Keizo ran behind it and sent the whole of the guitar's neck into the Tengu's spine. By this time he'd wandered near the Kazekage and his wife. He turned to Ruka for a moment and said- "Ya know, I forgot ta thank you earlier. I won a looootta money thanks to that little drink-off of yours with Lady Mizukage and Kusakage." he chuckled. The final stone spike shot out of the ground and dug straight up the Tengu's body out the top of his head. .....LET'S ROCK!

"..." Ruka stared at him for a bit, before looking back at her husband, who was still grabbing at his arm. "Heh... Thought you said you didn't drink...?" Sazoru rasped, smiling as he tried to sit himself up. "Lie down," Ruka hissed, her voice heavy as she tore off his other sleeve and applied pressure to the socket, "H-Hold still..." "I'm fine," Sazoru breathed, giving her a weak smile, "Remember. I'm like a lizard; I'm durable." "S-Shut up. Idiot..." He then sighed and ran his right had across his hair, staring down at the space where his arm used to be. It wasn't so bad. Though, he was feeling a bit light-headed... Wait, where the hell were they taking him? "Hey... Wha--?" "We'll stitch him up, ma'am, don't worry," said one of the Sand jounin as they picked him up. "He'll be fine. Don't worry, he's in good hands." "... Okay," Ruka said finally, letting go off him as they carried him off. She wanted to go with him... But she couldn't. Not with everyone out here and what was happening with the war... Besides... He was durable... He'd live. He survived war once, he could make-do again... He always did. "... Damn," Sazoru laughed, "I really, really suck..." "Don't talk sir," said one of the jounin, "We gotcha." "... Yeah. Ain't that a b***h..." Kazekage Fight Theme

This party's gettin' crazy.... Keizo turned away from the one-armed Kazekage and his wife to get back to his own matters. He left the Tengu as it had died, on the spike and turned to face the Tengu that had just lept out at him. Keizo brought up his guitar to defend himself. The Tengu's blade clashed with the neck of his guitar, sending out a wave of sound that echoed with a deafening TWAAAAANG. he chuckled, mocking the stoic Tengu. Shouta lunged at the Tengu with utter silence. His footsteps barely made a sound in the snow. The soldier saw Shouta coming and lept away from him and the old guitarist. Shouta thrust out his staff just as the Tengu jumped away- barely missing. Keizo lept over the staff and swung at the masked soldier. It backed up to dodge again, then swung at Keizo with it's sword. Shouta whipped around him to block the on-coming blade. The black haired medic-nin wielded the staff expertly with his hands spread wide apart from each other; the Tengu's sword grinded against it in between them, just above Shouta's head. And the Tengu was baring down on him hard! In almost the same moment Shouta and the Tengu's weapons struck Keizo was already launching another attack. The Tengu grabbed the body of the guitar with his free hand; he didn't even seem effected by the metal spikes stabbing into his hand. With his hands preoccupied, the Tengu didn't have time to react when two scythes stabbed through his torso, but they didn't slice all the way through just yet. "You boy's need a little help?" Nyirei snickered. "Nah. We got things under control here- what's that Dev's always calling you? Tiny? Iggy?" Shhlukk- The lanky red/brown haired woman's scythes cut right through the Tengu with a gruesome sound. At the angle from which they cut, they carved out his sides, but there was a small section of his body still attaching his stomach to his chest. The Tengu's mutilated body wobbled before falling to the ground with a thud and the three Mist shinobi pulled their weapons away. The Tengu was mostly useless, but apparently it was still 'alive' because reached for it's sword and tried to swing at them from the snow. Shouta stabbed through it's head and crunched off it's arm with his foot. "Four." he said with a smirk. Then, with his eyes narrowing he commanded- "Nyirei-san, watch our backs." -as he approached Keizo and shoved him into a sitting position. "You got it." she said firmly, gripping her scythes tight and keeping herself aware of everything- waiting for the Tengu soldiers to attack. "Hey-!""We're not letting you die so quickly." he said frimly. "Besides-" Shouta continued, seeing Keizo about to protest. "don't you want to see who wins? If it's you, you're not going to want to miss that, now are you? At least live to see then end of the battle." he gave a knowing smirk. Keizo, mulled it over a moment, then grinned and let Shouta heal him. They were -of course- attacked by several Tengu in those few minutes, but Nyirei, along with several very large wolves- courtesy of Chizu- fended them off. Still riding the great eel was Lady Mizukage. Her Rain Torrents beast held, zipping around with them, but she had to release it soon. She was mostly just using it to protect Unagishima as well as the other shinobi. She would just have to think of something else. 'No, that's way too ******** dangerous to try just yet...' she thought to herself. Looking around at her subordinates and allies, she saw the Kazekage being carried away by Sand ninja. "Just ******** perfect..." she groaned sarcastically. "SUIJIN!" bellowed Unagishima. During her moment of thought, a Tengu had lept up behind her to the eel's head. Mizukage Suijin jumbed back as he swung at her, onto the eel's nose and the Tengu followed her, accompanied by another. They both swung with their swords; to counter it she clamped both blades in Oniago's 'jaw'. "GET THEM OFF MY HEAD!!!" he commanded. He could barely stand letting her on his head! While she fought the Tengu, the Mizukage gave the Torrents beast semi-free-rein. It no longer moved with her, but she continues to have it lash out a the Tengu, whether it hit or not. Getting a good grip on the twist-lock of Oniago, she twisted it sharply in the opposite direction of which she opened it- putting more pressure on the sword's jaw to close and crunching off the Tengus' blades at the middle. Regardless of their damaged weapons, they attacked anyway. Suijin lept off Unagishima's head and grabbed onto on of his long 'whiskers'. She swung herself back on the Emperor Eel, on the opposite side of the Tengu. "AAAARRRHH!! I HATE IT WHEN YOU DO THAT!!!!" the eel roared. "QUIT'CHER COMPLAINING!!" she roared back, making a handsign. Five tendrills of water streamed from the Torrents beast's body. They shout out at the Tengu. One hit dead-on, knocking off it's head- still, the ******** wasn't done yet. They dodged their way around the tendrills as they lunged for Lady Mizukage. The one closest to reaching was hit square in the back and torn to shreds by three other tendrills. The second (the one with a head) reached her, but not before his hands were torn off by the Rain Torrents. Regardless, he punched at her with his wrist-stumps, not faltering a second. They fought hand-to-stump for a while- both using taijutsu expertly. The Tengu swung for her face and Lady Mizukage gracefully knocked his right hand slightly off course with her left hand to her right. His wrist wisked past her cheek, brushing against a few strands of her silver hair. Gripping it with her left hand, she brought up her right hand; smacked it down on his shoulder and twisted his arm up. She swung her foot up and over onto the back of his neck and slammed down. There was a terrible snapping sound as she turned his body around facing away from her. Then she pulled out Ivory and got to work hacking off his other arm. She kept half her mind on the battle around her as well, having the Torrents beast stamp out any who may threaten Unagishima-or at least keeping them away. Now, she pulled the pretty much useless Tengu into a head lock and with her free arm pulled out her sake bottle. She chugged down the last half and let out a deep- "Ahhhhh, that's the stuff! Ya know they have a 'legendary substance' in Falls called the 'Hero's Water' or some s**t like that." She chuckled as she thought about what she was doing. She was talking to something that wasn't even technically alive! Mizukage Suijin flipped the sake bottle in her hand and waved it in the Tengu's face. "But this-" A wild grin spread accross her face. "This is all I need!" She smashed the bottle into his head, letting her hand slam into it past the broken glass. The Tengu's head may as well have exploded! Shoving her hand down the stump of his neck, she grabbed hold of his spine and yanked it out. She held onto his lifeless carcass by it's neck and swung the spine over her shoulder for 'later use.' Pulling out two grenades, she noticed a familiar mark on the pins. "You sly dawg!" she chuckled. Lady Mizukage yanked the pins out with her teeth and shoved the bombs down into the Tengu's chest cavity. The Mizukage screamed out a battle cry- "RRAAAHHH!!!" -as she flung the Tengu's body out into the crowd of it's comrades. Just twenty feet above them, the bombs went off. Fire blasted out in a masisve explosion followed by an array of stone spikes jutting out from the smoke and fire- impaling several Tengu. When the smoke had cleared, the stone spikes looked like a massive thorn bush, dotted with at least ten Tengu- most of them dead, others injured and trying to get off. Had they been ordinary soldiers, there would have been many more. But these... these monsters were fast enough to match the blast's speed. Not to mention Fuka could probably anticipate her moves. With the spinal cord still slung over her shoulder, the Mizukage belted out with a monsterous laugh that echoed across all three fronts of the bloody war that was taking place. "KYAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!! IS THIS THE BEST YOU GOT!?!" she taunted, as if daring them to do better. Sure- these guys were proving to be a handful even for her but still, she liked a challenge! Re-syncing with the Torrents beast- she brought her fist to her face, stuck up her index finger, pinky and thumb and waved her tongue around as it hung out of her mouth. The Torrents beast did the same for all to see. .....LET'S ROCK!

This party's gettin' crazy.... No sooner than she had given that wonderful display, the Tengu soldiers seemed to.... weaken. Substantially! Even the genin who were still alive were having an easier time! Mizukage Suijin saw the old ex-Hokage in her mind. These image flashes were starting to get annoying, but maybe this one wasn't so useless. Drake was the one making them real, according to the old lady Hokage. Maybe this meant the fight would be all down hill from here. "Heh. I guess that was the best they got!" The Mizukage chuckled. Still striking with the water were-leviathan, her attacks hit much more often than they had before, and rarely did she have to go out of her way to protect her shinobi. Unagishima continued to lash out at the Tengu, but his strength was waning. He had to return soon. So she gave the battle field one last arial scan. So many Mist shibobi lay dead; many, she knew, had been taken to the back lines injured. Nyirei was still fighting, her scythes slashing away with amazing speeds. She had several minor injuries, but nothing too bad. Devonte was still going as well but... he was missing his right arm. It looked as if it had been bandaged up but it didn't take away from the face that he now only had three limbs. Regardless, he swung his axe with the same brute force as he always did. Shouta was nowhere to be seen. Not fighting, not as a corpse. That didn't worry her. She figured he'd felt his talents were best served healing the injured back at the rear. Their numbers weren't bad. Not bad at all. The Mizukage felt a wave of relief, even as the explosions went off around her, the earth trembled with earth-style jutsus, gusts of winds whipped through the field as shinobi used their air-style jutsus and mixed with the already harsh winds of the Land of Snow. A month in and she had already had to take the role as commander of the entire Kirigakure forces- she had no idea how she'd really do. She had led squads into war before as leader, but she'd always been under orders to do so from the Mizukage. Now she was the Mizukage. She was the ring-leader of Kiri's forces. If they had all been whiped out it would have been her responsibility. But they hadn't been. There were aproximately half alive. It was hard to tell with them mixed in with Suna's troops. She's have a head count done once it was all over. Overall... she believed she done a pretty damn good job. But her job wasn't over yet. She looked over to the other fronts, easily seen from atop Unagishima's head. She smiled as she the enormous bird and Lady Kusakage on it's head. Suijin had remembered what she had said in the bar. "Really, you're like a sister to me. Like family, and I mean that! I mean that."The Mizukage smiled. She supposed she thought of the Kusakage the same way. She had definitely enjoyed their brief time togther. She definietly wanted to have another night out with her. Summoning the loudest voice she could muster, Mizukage Suijin bellowed- "OOOI!! LADY KUSAKAGEEEE~!! LET'S END THIS WITH A BANG, EH?" She raised her fist and gave the largest grin she could make, the Rain Torrents beast copying her. .....LET'S ROCK!

((The entire world suddenly is alerted to the presence of Hakubo and his location as he says, ""Come on we need to get moving; I'm sure there is going to be some kind of response to what happened here; and i don't want to be here when it happens. And I'm pretty sure you dot want to be ether""))

This party's gettin' crazy.... Suijin's grinned widened even more (if that was possible) as she heard Sanae's response. She couldn't see the Kusagake's face very well from here, and couldn't see her tears. she bellowed with wild, sadistic excitement. This would be their last stand. Not too long from now, the victor of the battle would be decided. And Suijin Kitagawa, the daughter of Gina of the blood-soaked moonlight, would be damned if she let it be the Tengu! Devonte looked up at the two great beasts for a moment. His right arm had been taken by a Tengu, but Shouta had bandaged his wound and heald him up enough for Dev to keep fighting. Plus, the Tengu seemed much weaker than before. Down to chunin level even! "Heh. That's Suijin for ya." he chuckled. This was why he'd nominated her for Mizukage. The woman knew how to bring out the fighting spirit in anyone. She could rally her troops with a few words, and she always seemed to know just what to say. The Kusakage was quite something too. Who knew she could summon Tekkei, the bird GOD. Add the Mizukage and the Kusakage with Unagishima and Tekkei and right there- was a formula for sure victory. Devonte had the utmost confidence in that. "Can't wait ta shove this right in 'Lord Kurosawa's' face!" he laughed. Dev still had some fight left in him, but he was tireing out. If this wasn't over quick, he'd either have to pull out or fright till he dropped dead from exhaustion. For now..... he swung his battle axe like a mad-man taking down any Tengu in his way. The Blasting Rain Torrents was reaching it’s limits. The Mizukage lifted her arms as if she were pulling up a great wave, the Torrents beast's shape morphed to that of an army of dozens of water eels. They all struck out at the Tengu, who fell to the forces of Mist and Sand much more feebly now. That was when it hit her- where was Keizo??? Her friend. Her mother's colleague. Her sensei! His corpse wasn't anywhere she could see. This was coming, she knew it. He was wither dead or damn close to it but.... "Suijin." said Unagishima, breaking the silver-haried woman's train of thought. Honestly, he would have loved to see the end of this war. No doubt Suijin would end the battle with a big a bang as she could, and with Tekkei just having joined the fight it would most certainly be entertaining. But he was meant to remain in the sea. Had they been fighting with him at least half in the ocean, he could have kept going. But his time on land was always limited. "Yeah, I know. Thanks Unagishima. I really do owe you one." she said with a wink. It was his time to return. She’d just have to finish up without him. The great eel groaned as if there was something he wanted to say, but was reluctant to say it. "Rrrrg.... maybe you won't be a complete screw up as Mizukage." That was the closest she was ever going to get to him giving his approval. "Heh. Wanna drop me off at their back lines?" she said with a devious grin. That was the closest he would ever get to a thank you. This would be their last chance to go out with a bang in this battle. He shared her grin. She was about to pull out a bit of a risky move, never would she have used it at the beginning of the battle. But with the Tengu at their current strength, she might just be able to use it successfully. "You got it kid!" Suijin ran to the back of his head and slid down his enormous body. Unagishima twisted his tail around with the end hanging a ways above the Tengu. Suijin's ride was like a roller-coaster. There were a few upward bumps but the downward slopes gave her enough momentum to slide right over them. She yanked off the Mizukage hat and Frisbee-threw it at her assistant. "NYIREI!!!" she hollered. The lanky woman looked up to see the hat being hurled at her. She caught it on the end of her scythe and it spun several times before settling. Mizukage Suijin made a flurry of handsigns. Unagishima gave her another small spray of water for her first jutsu. The first set of handsigns created four water clones of Suijin that slid down with her. They swerved down the last length of his tail- at the end, the clones dispersed themselves in different directions, but the real Suijin slid straight off the tail into the air, with Unagishima giving her an extra boost. Hakubo's message rang through her head, but she brushed it off. Whoever this Hakubo was, he was doing his job whatever that entailed- Suijin was doing her job. That entailed her beatin the ever-living s**t out of the remaining Tengu! And this was IT!The Mizukage was airborn Her clones knocked away all Tengu that were unfortunate enough to be where they landed The Great Unagishima dissapeared in a billow of smoke She just finished her second set of handsigns with the sign for Dragon The clones were ready So was she Suijin was far away enough from the Mist and Suna troops and Dev and Nyirei were ordering everyone to get back This would be her last big move before she went low on chakra After this, it would be no more ninjutsu This was it- two little words and she thrust her arms out, one in front of her, one held out to the side
"RAGING HURRICANE!!!!!" The Mizukage's wind chakra burst out with tremendous force! But held itself, compressed in an enormous sphere many yards in diameter! She seemed to hover in it's center, with the winds whipping around her blowing her long, silver hair in all directions. The all-too-slow Tengu beneath her were torn to shreds! Their mutilated corpses whipped around in the wind-sphere for a while before they were launched out at hundreds of miles per hour. Anyone unfortunate enough to be struck by the debris would most likely be killed on impact. The clones used small amounts of chakra to make vector shields on their palms. With them, they were able to repell the Raging Hurricanes on the opposite direction, or wherever there were the most Tengu. The globe of wind moved at incredible speeds, darting all over the snow covered field, tearing up the Tengu. 'Oh PLEASE don't let any shinobi get caught in this!' - was all she could hope. Outside that, the Mist nin were easily taking care of the Tengu outside the masacre. The numbers of the Tengu were decreasing at a wonderful rate! Even as they continued to fight viciously, the fighting from that point was a breeze compared to their earlier fights. They were suffering very little further casualties. .....LET'S ROCK!

Ruka gritted her teeth and glared up at Suijin and her rain torrents, "s**t!" she hissed, whistling for all of her shinobi to clear the way as Hankichi, her top Suna shinobi, gave the order and steered away from whatever hell might come their way...
... But when they saw that hurricane from a distance, their mouths opened in awe as they saw the terrible winds of the Mizukage's chakra swallow up their enemies whole by the devastating speed and impact she let go on them. "..." Ruka then closed her eyes and smiled, looking up at Sanae from afar as she did the same, killing off the last of the Tengu with fire and boiling hot lava from the Bird goddess herself, Tekkei. Sazoru would've been proud of his older sister...

This party's gettin' crazy.... The Mist forces were still fighting, killing any Tengu that remained outside the Raging Hurricane's arena. The Mizukage clones pushed the Raging Hurricane all over the field. Tengu soldeirs were torn up, debris that flew outward struck other Tengu and destroyed them. In only a few more minutes, the battle of the Easter Front would be won! ......but who could wait that long!!! 'HAHAHA! I STILL HAVE ENOUGH CHAKRA TA PULL IT OFF!!! HAH! AND I THOUGHT THESE GUYS WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ******** TOUGH!!!' she sneered. As she was propelled across the field, Suijin used Seishuku-Bekuta to cover her body in a body-suit of chakra 'armor'. One of the water clones ran over to Devonte. "Suijin?" He had just lobbed of the head of another Tengu. He was pretty beat up, but the worst injury he had suffered was losing his arm. "GET CHER ASSES OUTTA HERE!!! I'M DOING IT!!!" the clone barked. He'd know what she meant by 'it'. And 'it' would be devastating! To the Tengu and all others who would be unfortunate enough to be in it's path.! "WHAT? YOU GOTTA BE JOKING!!!" he yealled back, with wide eyes. That move- even with her experience, using it time after time was still dangerous. Especially since her chakra levels were probably pretty damn low. Every move she had used was a high-level jutsu, and most of them heavily draining on one's chakra! "LIKE HELL I AM!!" The water clone Mizukage smirked. "I been going all out this entire battle- if I stop now then this party would completely lose it's main entertainment!" she chuckled. Devonte did too. "A'right! Just don't get yourself killed!""I don't plan on it! See ya at the border- make sure everyone it outta here in thirty seconds!!""YES LADY MIZUKAGE!" The water clone ran off to collect as many corpses she could carry. "EVERYONE OUTTA HERE!!! SAND, MIST I DON'T GIVE A ******** GET YOUR ASSES OUTTA THIS FIELD- THAT'S AN ORDER FROM THE MIZUKAGE!!! GET MOVING!!!" Devonte commanded. Everyone who heard- ran. Those who hadn't heard were told by others to run and they didn't waste any time!!! Many took off with corpses of their comrades, others were left because they were either forgotten or their freinds felt this was as good a resting place as any. Devonte looked for whoever was leading Suna's troops. He spotted Ruka, and knew she was the Kazekage's wife so he figure'd she'd be his best shot! "Oi! You need to order all your men back to the border! In half a minute everything within a mile of this place it gonna be demolished! Got it?!" his eyes seemed to scream at her how imperative it was that they move and move fast! He didn't have time to wait for a response. He picked up one of the injured shinobi nearby, wherther he was of Mist or Suna and darted off to the shore where the other injured were being gathered. Suijin Kitagawa- Leader of the Eastern Front of the Battle of the Tengu Friend of the Kusakage Dubbed Mizukage three weeks and five/four days ago A loving mother One child No husband Wielder of the great sword Oniago Member of The Seven Swordsmen of the Mist- one of the most vicious of her generation A proud-ta-be drunk! Mother died a hero Father died nothing A strong, determined shinobi right from the start Even before entering the academy insisted on training every day till she exhausted herself Born in the Land of Water's Forbidden Northern Mountains- home of the Kitagawa clanThis was her and all she was was. If she screwed this jutsu up even slightly, it would result in her death and that would be the end of her tale. her legacy. But her life didn't matter in comparison to all the lives of the Kirigakure shinobi that had already been lost. She owed them this much. She would never forget the faces of those corpses left behind. All the Mist shinobi had cleared out and were making their way to the border. Mizukage Suijin smiled- first a calm smile, then it warped to a monsterous, blood-lusting grin. .....LET'S ROCK!
