The forest surrounding the base is thick and crowded. Not many, besides the Brotherhood members, can make it through; but they have been trained to do so.

Tentei strolled through the forest, making her way to the camouflaged base hidden near here. She had hoped her new recruit, Patrick, hadn't gotten lose. She needed him for her cause; no, now it was their cause. She needed more people now, it was the only way to get the power they needed.

Patrick though it didn't seem like it was following closely behind Tentei. He questioned just what in the hell he'd gotten himself into. As his his wide open eyes scanned the forest for some kind clue to his location he questioned his boss' motives for bringing him this far. "I'm all for being secretive, but really... is it necessary to be stationed half way around the globe?"

Tentei spun on her heels and stopped. She still happened to be in her bikini from San Francisco because she didn't pack anything else. She didn't bother retying the strings, even if they were coming loose. She had no problems with her body and often used it to get what she wanted. She looked at Patrick straight in the eyes, even on the plane ride over here they gave each other no information at all. "Looks like its time to explain some stuff. My name is Tentei Te, or you may call me Akuma Te. I am the founder of the Brotherhood of Mutants. We strive to suppress the humans, as they have done to us and still do in this time and age. Everyone thinks we are living happy and peaceful now but it is much the opposite. It is gilded, problems all under the surface. The Brotherhood will suppress, enslave, and conquer the human race; proving once and for all we are the higher race. As for the base, there are three. One stationed here in Burlin, one in Houston, and one under the surface of Antarctica." They were nearing the base, and as they got closer the Cloaker reacted to the nanobot in Tentei's body. Lowering its cloak, the base could now be visible as a huge down, about ten stories high and wider than even that.

"Whoa, whoa. This is a little fast for me. Okay, so you're Tentei, you lead a group of mutants whose sole purpose is to enslave the human race. On top of that you have bases stationed all over the planet... and here Mom thought I wouldn't find the right girl." Patrick said in an almost kidding tone, as he stood there in amazement at what he saw. "Well, my names Patrick Spencer. I like games, and haven't really thought about how much humanity is beneath me. Now that the introductions are out of the way, what does this have to do with me?"

"She has her reasons."
Answered a low voice, thick with a Russian accent. If Patrick turned his head towards the sound, he would find the source. A tall man was leaning against a wall, peering at the newcomer with dark blue eyes, long blond hair out of his face though some of it was on his shoulders. Though he didn't look like a powerfully built man, his eyes basically say 'Don't try to attack me, I'll kick your a**.'

Patrick turned to the voice, it gave him a surprise to learn that he and Tentei were not the only ones here. "You didn't say you had a Rusky here. I'd have brought the Vodka." He said playfully to Tentei before looking the man back in the eyes, his look was more awkward and fresh compared to the battle hardened stare the man was shooting. His young smooth face almost gave a gleam as he began to solemnly form the words. "Yo, lets play a game." It wasn't really a game per say, more of a test; if the Russian was gonna be on Pat's team he'd at least have to be able to handle a game.

Pat continued to stare, his face like stone, keeping a neutral facial expression even as he was asked to play a game with Pat. Ivan didn't know what game he was talking about, so Ivan simply answered in response.
"Depends on what kind of games you're talking about."
Cause if it's a fighting game, Pat would be screwed. Hck he probably be screwed when it comes to a drinking game.

Patrick began to give a wicked smile as an invisible and intangible dome with a radius of 20 meters appeared in only his eyesight. The dome had no literal purpose it was just him measuring how much room he had to manipulate things. He searched around in his in his pocket, finding only a deck of cards, a lighter, and a pair of dice. "The game is simple..." He said while taking out a deck of cards and beginning to shuffle. He then split the entire deck in half, handing one half to the Rusky while keeping the other for himself. "Using only one finger... make your cards disappear faster than I can make mine." He said extending his right hand out for Ivan to shake. "Remember, only one finger. If you don't follow my rules... well let's just say your luck has run out."

"I'm not sure I want to accept that."
Ivan said, a bit worried that this was a trick. Though his instincts told him to not back down from a challenge. He shook Pat's hand on one condition.
"This doesn't count towards my record of 362 wins to 1."
(gah, short I know)

Once there was contact between the hands the mental contract was signed. "Deal. However be warned now that you have shaken my hand, if you break my rules you will only see your greatest nightmare." He said rather calmly before backing up a few feet and holding out his right hand. "I will only use my thumb." He said nodding lazily. "I'll even give you a head start. Ready... go!"
((Here's how this works. Its pretty simple, roll a 6-sided die in your next post and I'll roll one in my next post. Highest number wins.))

"Alright then, lets go."
Ivan answered, his well trained fingers moving quickly to flcik the cards away from him as faster as possible. Een his reflexes woulkd have a tough time doing this, especially since breaking the rules means facing his worst nightmare.

((b*****d rolled a 4! Oh well, this is what make's my power so much fun it's a complete gamble. 8D ))
Patrick sighed as the man put up an impressive showing. At such a rate he might even beat what he had planned in store. Pat wasn't as trained in all sorts of body movement, but his mind was incredibly sharp. Ivan must not have picked up on his hint. He pulled the lighter out from his pocket and using only his thumb, proceeded to create a flame. He placed the flame on the bottom corner of the cards he held, igniting them. Though admittedly they were burning much slower than he expected.

When pat started burning halfway through his deck, the Russian uttered the one word he probably didn't want to hear.
"Done."
His deck was gone, Ivan simply folded his arms across his chest and smirked a little.
"So your a gambler eh? Interesting tricks you have up your sleeve."

"Of sorts you could say..." He said before snapping his fingers, ushering a breeze to blow out the flaming cards. He was upset the cards were more resistant to the heat than he originally thought, but it wasn't really a game... more of a test. He knew what the man was capable of now and really that's all he wanted. "Tricks, magic, I don't believe in all that. It's just good ole fashioned fun." His real power wasn't the games that was only secondary. Ivan would see soon enough.
