Ellie was watching her boy in another of his valient attempts at... she wanted to guess he was trying to exhaust himself but really it was hard to tell. Why else would he be running around the track? She gave a shrug to her own question as she watching him, tail trailing along after him like some sort of banner. At least he seemed to be having fun, then again he was always cheerful even when he fell down and hurt himself he was cheerful. It was a good thing though, he was a good kid... if a bit thick headed.
She gave a shake of her head and a smile as he came around near to where she was laying and gave her a smile and a wave, as well as tossing the shirt he was wearing to her and it got itself hooked on one of her spines making the Silver sigh, "Valens!" She called after him in a scolding manner before turning to unhook it. He was a good boy and she loved him, he just wasn't the brightest crayon in the box was all.
The horse boy gave a chuckle as he kicked up the speed a little, as though he were sure that she would continue in her speech if he didn't escape it quickly. Valens was in a good mood, not that it was any surprise, but an even better one then normal, as he'd used his saved up allowance to get himself a new hair cut. He rather liked the way it looked. He wasn't one who often stood in front of mirrors worry about his looks, aside from that one time he'd been worried that he were getting to fat though it just turned out he muscle was far heavier then fat and he had been putting a lot of the former on due to his work outs.
If one look at the pants he wore it was a good indication that looks didn't matter to him, the pair he wore looked as though they'd gotten into a losing battle with a weed whacker... his one vice though when it came to his looks was his hair, something he blamed on his mother as she always seemed to be styling it in one way or another since he'd moved in with them. It had gotten him of the same mind, loving to do random things with his dark locks. He came around the track once more and stuck his tongue out at Ellie, giving a giggle as she pushed up to her feet and did his best to speed up when she gave chase in a playful manner.

Fleur slumped onto a park bench and pouted, his rounded ears flattened slightly. The magnetic strip on his credit card was worn out from all his shopping binges, and it would be another few days before he received a replacement card. What was he going to do to keep himself occupied until then?! Sure, he had some cash, but he only kept a little on him at a time - mostly to eat on. He supposed he could just go...window shop for now. And, really, he didn't actually need any more clothes...he had more clothes than he could wear in the next two years. Still, it was very inconvenient.
Aube en Argent just humored her boy, giving his knee a patronizing pat. She needed to find him something to do before his mood spiraled any further down - his behavior was odd and a little disturbing when he was upset. Glancing around, Argent looked for something he could do. She had finally almost grasped the art of speech, though her grammar left a little to be desired. She tried to avoid speaking except when they were alone until she was sure she could speak perfectly.
A flash of silver caught her attention as she surveyed the area - was that another dragon?

From the corner of his eye Valens spotted something that threw him a little, he saw Silver. He looked over his shoulder and saw that Eillie was indeed chasing him but there had been more silver as well. In fact as he turned to look in that direction he saw a whole other silver dragon in fact. His eyes went a bit wide and one could almost hear the gears grinding in his head as he thought on it. Silver, silver... why was that fact poking at him so much? His eyes widen and he gave a sliding halt, not a good idea when one was being pursued by a Dragon but lucky for him she was able to jump over him.
"Valens! Don't stop in front of me I might have run you over!" She said, tail swishing in an agitated manner.
Valens nodded, not even looking at her as he looked toward the dragon and his eyes got huge, "I knew it!" He said, excitedly and rushed forward, waving a hand in the air, "PHIL!" He yelled out to the skunk boy, seeing his old friend and he couldn't help but to be excited over it.

Fleur's ears twitched and shifted up a little when he heard someone's voice calling - there was something very familiar about that voice, except...it was deeper than he recalled. Who...? He sat up a little straighter and looked around then blinked when he saw someone rushing over to him. He didn't recognize him at first - not until he noticed the tail and hooves.
"Valens!" Fleur called to him with a bright smile as he stood to return the wave. Goodness, it had been a long time since they last got together in the mall. Valens...had grown so much.

Valens slowed down slightly as he got closer and blinked a couple times as he looked down at Fleur, realizing that his friend seemed smaller then last time he'd seen him. Then again being as tall as he was, over six and a half foot now, there weren't many he'd run across aside from dragons that were taller then he was. It was due to his draft horse blood according to his mother when he had once asked why he was so huge.
He gave a grin, "Wow, its been forever! This is so lucky!" He said in an excited manner, tail swishing rapidly behind him, ears turned forward. He had missed this particular friend as they had used to hang out a lot and he was always so much fun to do stuff with, "How have you been?"
Ellie gave a smile as she watched her boy run over to his friend, taking a break from all of his exercise and training. She gave a little nod of her friend to the other Silver, "Argent." She murmured, "It is nice to see you again."

"I've been okay," Fleur answered. "You got...big." It was still very jarring. It seemed like it wasn't too long ago when they were both around the same size - sure, Valens was always a little bigger than the skunk, but not like this. "What have you been up to?"
"Good to see you too," Argent chirped in the dragons' tongue. "I see your boy is well."

"Yeah, a couple of growths spurts." He said, giving a bit of a laugh. He was a little surprised himself running into others and seeing how much he'd really grown since he was so used to seeing himself in the mirror that he really couldn't tell the changes in himself, "Not to much, some classes here and there at D-Corp, running around, and going places with my girl Damaris." He told the skunk boy with a happy smile, "What about you? Anything cool?"
Ellie nodded, switching over to draconic to make their conversation more private since that they hadn't gotten to talk to one another for some time, "He is doing very well, same for me as I am able to finally carry him on back... though he is tough when it comes to convincing him to allow such things. Hes so very active..."

'My girl'? Oh...goodness, things had changed. Why did that sting so much, though? It served him right for losing contact with his friends, really. "Oh, nothing much...just shopping, taking some classes when I can." Fleur forced a small grin. Truthfully, his classes worried him since he could rarely remember much of them, but he couldn't get out of taking them. "Argent's getting bigger too, though she's growing slowly." Just like her boy, really.
"I can imagine," Argent remarked with a slight grin. Valens certainly seemed to be a handful. "I can hardly wait until I'm big enough to carry Fleur. Have you taken any of the dragon classes together yet?"

Valens gave a chuckle at that, "Shopping, huh? That's was always far more fun to do with friends." He could recall the two of them having an experience in the past with shopping, it had been a lot of fun really. Something that stood out in the horse's mind since he couldn't really stand shopping when he had to do it on his own, it was soooo exceedingly dull... with others, like when he'd gone with Fleur or Z, it had been amusing.
His ears gave a little flicker at the mention of classes, something he always had fun with, "I've been taking some classes myself, mostly the physical sort since..." He made a sort of waving motion with his hand, "Magic is a little above me, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed after all." He had no delusions in his mind about being a genius, he knew he wasn't that smart and really didn't mind. He preferred the physical side of life anyway, "Maybe we will be able to take one together sometime." The idea of getting to take a class together with his friend sounded great in his mind, made his tail swish behind him in a happy manner.
Ellie glanced over at her boy for a moment while he chattered away at Fleur before looking back at Argent and gave a smile, "We are set to take our first class soon, one on Flight. I will admit I am a little nervous but also excited. I can't wait to be able to fly!" The Silver lifted her head to look up toward the sky, wanting nothing more then to be up there among the clouds.

Fleur laughed at Valens' remark about physical classes. He could definitely see what the larger boy meant. "I've only taken two magic classes, but they were just basic information - nothing on actually using it yet," he said just before his smile faded. "I've taken several physical classes...but I don't remember most of them. I keep blacking out."
Argent's own wings gave a slight tremble at the thought of flying, and her gaze also moved to the sky for a brief moment. "I can't either. It must be wonderful." She lowered her gaze back to the larger silver and beamed. "I'm sure you'll be great at it!" Her muzzle pulled into a grin as she gently teased, "Just don't let your boy get distracted by a bird and fall off."

Valens's eyes got a little wide for a moment before he reached a hand out to ruffle Fleur's hair, "Did you hit your head?" He asked, "I know that you can end up blanking things out if you do that." He knew from experience since he'd gotten himself bonked on the head before a couple of times in his life. He leaned in to look Fleur over closely but didn't really see any bumps so maybe it wasn't from that?
"The magic I learned wasn't really anything different then what I do anyway... though now I can move ever bigger things." He said, then asked in a enthusiastic manner, "Wanna see?" He reached over to catch hold of his friend by the waist and easily, as though his friend weighed nothing at all, he lifted up up and over his head, "See? Ta-Dah!" His ears turned forward and his tail swished in a delighted manner, grinning away in the bright and happy manner that he always did.
Ellie looked over at her boy for a moment as he lifted the other boy up and over his head before giving a soft, sighing sound, "Valens! You be careful!" She scolded him before her attention went back to her own friend once more and if she could blush she would have, "Yes... that is one worry I have. He gets distracted so easily... I worry he might try to reach out and touch a cloud while we are flying." Given it was Valens it was a legitimate worry.

Fleur blinked then laughed again when his hair was ruffled. "I don't know - maybe I did," he answered half-heartedly then perked up his ears, glad for the change in subject, only to yelp and fight the urge to squirm when he was suddenly lifted high over Valens' head. He laughed again once the surprise melted away. "Gosh, you are strong!" He held Valens' forearms just to assure himself he was secure and balanced, not that he didn't trust the other boy.
Argent tensed at first when Fleur was lifted, but she relaxed again when he laughed, clearly happier than he was nervous. It was a welcome change from the usual nowadays. Instead, she focused on her conversation with Ellie, nodding as she answered, "I can imagine that would be a concern. Hopefully he won't be that flighty, though."

"Yep! Strength seems to be the one thing that I have in spades." He figured it was a shame that he wasn't terribly bright and couldn't follow along with things that were for the more intelligent crowd but this sort of thing he was a master of! He gave a spin just for the fun of it before he returned his friend back down to the safety of the ground, "I was given a lot of strength to make up for my lack of a brain, or so Dad says." He chuckled at that, to goodhearted to really find it as an insult that his father thought him on the same IQ level as a box of rocks.
Once he'd returned him to the ground he asked, "What sort of magic are you interested in learning?" Wondering if he would learn the strengthening sort or if he meant to learn something more interesting and flashy, the actually spells and such that he'd seen others do. Not his sort of thing but it would be great to see others learn them!
"I do hope that he will learn the need for being careful while flying, perhaps we will start out at lower heights so that he can learn it as we go." That way if the boy fell off of her back at the beginning he wouldn't fall very far before hitting the ground. Given he'd fallen out of trees before a little fall off her back wouldn't risk his health that much she was sure.
