The ring announcer spoke loudly into his microphone from ringside as MVP's theme, "I'm Coming," blasted through the arena.

"This triple threat match is scheduled for ONE fall, and it is for the Intercontinental Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Miami Florida, weighing in at 259 pounds. He is the reigning, defending Intercontinental Champion; Montel Vontavious Porter, M! V! P!!!"

The Intercontinental Champ made his way down the ramp, showing off his trademark taunt as pyro shot behind him. He made his way around the ring to the ringside table, grabbing the microphone violently from the announcer, mouthing off at him as he did so. He made his way up the steps, and into the ring as his music died down, placing the mic to his lips;

"Last night at Wrestlemania, I defeated United States Champion Matt Hardy in the Battle for Brand Supremacy match...Last night, i helped prove that RAW is all in all BETTER than SmackDown. And i proved, ONCE again, that I am BETTER than Matt Hardy - who I've heard will NOT be here tonight...shame," he said sarcastically, a crude grin on his face as the crowd boos him. "And tonight, i get to prove once more, that i am the MOST DOMINANT champion in the WWE Today!

"So who are my opponents? Kofi Kingston," the crowd cheers loudly when he mentions the name, "Oh, you like him, huh? Well that's too bad, because I've beaten him before already! He's an overrated, annoying little Jamaican Jumping Bean, and is NOT worthy of being champion.

"Now my second opponent, Orochi-whatever he calls himself...Come on, are you KIDDING me?" He yells, pacing around the ring as the crowd boos him. He raises his voice so he could be heard clearly above the crowd. "This kid hasn't been here a month yet, and Vince decides he should be thrown into a CHAMPIONSHIP match? I'm telling you, this guy's gotta be doing more than just wrestling to get HIS career started that fast, if you know what i mean...

"Neither of these two stand a CHANCE against me. I am the highest paid superstar in this business, and that's because I am the most DOMINANT champ! I win matches, I sell tickets, I make WWE what it is today! So if either of you really think you have any sort of chance here tonight, you're in for a rude awakening..." he dropped the mic out of the ring towards the ringside table when he finishes, and began to pace around the ring, awaiting his two challengers...

As the crowd began to die down, "S.O.S" begins to play, and Kofi Kingston runs down to the ramp, pointing to the sky and begins his trademark "boo boo boo" but on the last burst of pyro, he points to MVP and signals his own waist. He smiles as he hops down the ramp, mouthing "I got you. That title is mine." He nods to Orochi, a mutual showing of respect on his face as he starts circling around the squared circle as the bell rings.

Immediately, kofi bounces off the ropes, and charges toward MVP, shoulder raised. He connected his elbow into MVP, and recovers quickly. He rebounds off the ropes, dodging Orochi as he charged towards Porter once more. This time he threw a spinning dropkick to the champion's jaw, sending him over the top rope and to ringside. With a wide smile on his face, he signals to the crowd, before launching himself over the top rope, landing on MVP in a cross body splash. He climbs back into the ring, and plays to the crowd quickly before turning to face orochi. He steps into a fighting stance and smiles, raising his eyebrow and saying "come on..."

"Good Grief! This has turned out to be quite the slobberknocker early on! Kofi, with Trouble in Paradise out of nowhere!" JR Screams excitedly into his headset as Kofi leaps up from the ground, a huge smile on his face. He falls back, hooking Orochi's leg as he pins him, and the ref slides into position:

"1...
2..."

MVP rolls back into the ring, and grabs Kofi by the leg, pulling him off Orochi and standing him back up. A quick Irish Whip into the furthest turnbuckle, and MVP covers Orochi, and the ref counts again...

"1...
2..."

"No! Orochi kicks out at 2!" JR announces. "Both men going for the quick and early cover, but it's going to take more than that to win this match. There's SO much on the line!" Porter stands up quickly, and taunts, before running as fast as he can towards Kofi at the turnbuckle. He raises his boot, but connects with nothing but air, as Kofi rolls out of the way quickly. Before MVP can register anything other than getting his foot off the turnbuckle, he is wrenched backwards, as Kingston rolls him up off of the corner, and grabs the tights to pin... The referee slides into position again, and slams his hand down on the mat.

"1...
2..."

This time, it's Porter's turn to kick out, throwing Kofi to the center of the ring, slightly dazed and facing Orochi...

Kofi Kingston smiles slightly, watching as Orochi Maru lowered into stance, as Kofi did the same. The two lock up in a collar/elbow tieup. They circle a little bit around the center of the ring, and Kofi tries to get the upper hand. But in shifting, he finds himself in a side headlock, suddenly clutching at Maru's arm, dropping his chin so he can breathe under the hold. Feeling Orochi wrench on his neck, Kofi jumped slightly, putting a hop in his step as he loosened his head, and threw Orochi towards the ropes.

Kingston ducked out of the way as Maru came running back to him, then jumped straight over him as he rebounded. As Orochi ran towards him for the third time, Kofi leaped into the air, catching his opponent with an unbelievably high one footed dropkick. Quickly, he saluted the croud, who cheered loudly in response, and ran to the corner, jumping up onto the turnbuckle... With another taunt to his opponents, he leaped into the air, aiming for Orochi, hoping to catch him in a cross body pin; while at the same time, an almost lifeless MVP rolls slowly out of the ring, and drops to the ground at ringside, his arm disappearing under the ring...

MVP nods his head eagerly as he feels Orochi's hands on his arm struggling less. He could feel his opponent fade under his sleeper hold, as he drops both of them to the ground, adding extra pressure to his lock...Orochi's eyes finally closed, and MVP screamed at the ref "Check him! He's out, CHECK HIM!!!"

The referee slid into position and grabbed Orochi's wrist, lifting it into the air, and letting it drop from his grasp. Orochi's arm hit the mat, and the ref signaled.

"1!"

He grabbed Orochi's wrist once more, looking to MVP, who's grin was ear to ear. He nodded his head, calling "COME ON!" as the ref dropped Maru's arm, which flopped to the ground hard...

"2!"

Orochi was out cold; it was painfully obvious that he wasn't going to regain consciousness in order to continue the match. The ref grabbed Maru's wrist once more, and lifted it slowly. Porter wrenched harder, nodding his head in anticipation, as the referee began to drop Orochi's arm...

And Kofi Kingston rebounds off of the ropes, launching through the air and landing on both competitors, breaking up the count just before Orochi's arm hit the mat for the third and final time. Kofi threw MVP back out of the ring, and rebounded onto the opposite ropes. He stepped ONTO Orochi, using him as a stepping stone to launch himself over the top rope...

...straight into a steel chair. MVP cracked Kofi on the skull in mid-air with the weapon, and crawled into the ring with the chair. He set it flat in the middle of the ring, and lifted Orochi to his feet. He gripped Maru's neck, and threw him over his shoulder, sending him to the mat, right on top of the chair. Looking up and smiling, he signaled to the crowd, before bouncing off the ropes and hit the "BALLIN!" elbow, ON the steel chair...With the crowd booing him heavily, MVP beats his chest before setting Maru up. He signals the crowd once more, before hitting the Playmaker on top of the steel chair, punishing the new superstar's shoulders and neck further, before dropping to his knees and pinning him, without hooking a leg...

"My God! What a punishment on Orochi Maru, and Kofi Kingston still on the outside." yelled King into his microphone. JR Nodded his head in agreement, and replied. "There's NO way he's going to kick out. But he showed some serious heart in this match." The referee slides into position, and begins to count...

"1...
2..."

Kofi and Maru battled back and forth. Each superstar threw punch after punch, the crowd cheering for each. Finally, as Orochi went to the top turnbuckle, Kofi saw his chance; He leaped into the air, tourquing his body into a high spin, and caught Maru square in the chest with a vicious kick!

"Oh my god! What a counter by Kofi Kingston! Trouble in Paradise! And that's gotta be it!" JR exclaimed, shouting into his headset as he watched the match unfold. Both he and king were on the edge of their seats...

As Kofi signaled to the crowd, MVP crawled back into the ring behind him, grabbing the chair. But Kofi saw him out of the corner of his eye. As he turned around, he smiled slightly as MVP reared back, hoping to hit Kofi straight in the head with the chair. But Kofi ducked, and ran towards the ropes, bouncing off of them before jumping again...

"Oh my! What ring presence! AND ANOTHER TROUBLE IN PARADISE! THE STEEL CHAIR SMACKING PORTER IN THE FACE!" Kofi landed quickly on MVP, hooking both of his legs in excitement. The ref slid into position, checked MVP's shoulders, and began the count.

"1...
2...
3!!!"

The bell run again, and this time for good. Kofi rolled out of the ring, leaving MVP and Orochi Maru inside, as the ref handed him the Intercontinental Championship belt. He grabbed it from the ref and looked at it in disbelief. He won the championship, and that infectious smile overtook his face, as he limped to the ramp happily.
