These woods have become infamous for the deaths that occur in them. quite horrifically, in fact. it is said that a monstrous ranger by the name Takal has taken up residence in the woods. his mastery over the bow, short blade, stealth, and animal captivity makes his domain a very dangerous place to be. it is also said that anyone who can survive Takal's test of the forest will be given a gift of his abilities. Takal is not the only danger here. poisonous plants, rabid creatures, and alluring spirits bring a sense of dread to the forest that is under the Thumb of Takal.
