1942, America droped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima Japan. Two days later, Japan stoped the war on america. I agree Pearl harbor was horrible but an atomic bomb,THATS OVERKILL. I think this is(exactly) what hapend to the direct victoms to the bomb burning_eyes

Hiroshima and Nagasaki were acts of murder. Most of the victims were civilians.
If there is a Hell, then Paul Tibbets is suffering there for dropping the bombs.

Well I think it was wrong but the Japenese military weren't really doing good things either. Unfortunately it had to be done so that many people didn't have to die. But it is true it was wrong and you can't justify death or killing. neutral

And it wasn't 1942 but August 6 and 9 1945. The only reason they did it was to destroy their factories there and make Japan surrunder unconditionally.

Yeah it ended the war, but war would end anyway. Japan was already weak, in few time they would surrender, one way or another. The bombs were just coward and cruel final strikes against an already defeated nation. This doesn't mean that japan did not commited mistakes during world war II, just mean that the bomb was not necessary to end war.

War is never a good thing, and while the bomb did wipe out hundreds of thousands of people, they managed to get on with their lives, and they hardly seem to care about WWII anyway. They love America and America loves Japan. There are still a few remnants of what happened around in Japan, but the grudge is now almost non-existent.
It's old water under the bridge now. rolleyes
