Horseback Riding – While her usual demeanour leaves one questioning how this girl could be a Leo, around horses, Liza’s attitude completely changes. Where she’s shy and quiet on the ground, she is bold, daring and completely extroverted on horseback. Unlike her sister, who prefers the precise collection of dressage, Liza can most commonly be found tearing up the fields over a cross-country course or jumping unbelievable heights in the stadium. However, Liza doesn’t limit her equestrian pursuits and has competed in everything from roping and reining to musical freestyle and eventing. And while she competes with a fierce determination in any discipline she enters, her heart and skills lie in the latter eventing; a three day competition that tests the horse and rider on three separate levels. Cross-country is her area of expertise, calculated recklessness along with breakneck speeds driving both her and her horse to their greatest potential.To carry her into the ribbons is her black Hanoverian gelding, Celaris, who lives the life of luxury when not training for competition. He is her prized pet; she treasures him as both a friend and an animal companion. She still retains a dapple grey German Riding Pony gelding aptly named Trillium but he’s enjoying an early (and very happy) retirement as Liza sadly outgrew him.
Running/Cross-country - Her love of running actually came as a fluke, as she started out only to help stay in shape for her riding activities. As her prowess improved, she was encourage to try out for the school's track team. Liza, however, used to her relaxing long distance runs through their wooded property, had no use for the quick dashes. She much prefers the challenge of length and terrain that cross-country provides. Now the girl couldn't imagine a day without running and often has to carefully co-ordinate her weekends so is able to compete at cross-country meets.
Music – Liza’s zest for riding and running doesn’t leave much time for other extra-curricular activities but in order to be a ‘well-rounded’ individual she takes lessons in both violin and piano. She dislikes the regiment that her instructors impose upon her, but quite enjoys playing nonetheless. She can often be found listening to the classical composers and even more often, putting music to complex riding maneuvres.

Virtues:
Polite – Always one to say please and thank-you, Liza never forgets her manners. She always asks before taking something and she always returns what she borrows, sometimes even throwing in a small gift to show her gratitude. To her, politeness is a treasured virtue and her respect instantly goes up for someone who returns the kindness. However, her polite manner doesn’t mean she is a pushover and if asked to do something she does not wish to do, Liza has no problem saying, “no, thank-you”.
Clever – While she might mix up her times tables or forget how to spell a word once in a while, Liza is never short on common sense. She is adept at finding solutions, like working with a problem horse or trying to end an argument between friends. Her cleverness helps her stay afloat in school, where if she wasn’t quick-witted she would likely be chastised by her teachers a lot more for daydreaming.
Calm – Liza is so soft-spoken, her friends and family joke that she is missing the anger gene. She is a very patient person, no matter what the situation or how long it takes. Her philosophy is that there is no use crying over spilt milk, things happen for a reason and everything depends on what you make of it. However, she is empathetic to the plights of others, making her a good shoulder to cry on before she provides one with an appropriate dose of reality. Emotional outbursts from Liza herself are a very rare event; usually she finds it more convenient to tuck those pesky feelings away from the general public.
Flaws:
Quiet/Shy – While not socially awkward, Liza limits herself in her quietness. Unless you are her closest friend it is doubtful that she will divulge anything more about her personality other than that she is soft-spoken and polite. This often leads to her being lost in the crowd, and though she wishes she could be more outgoing, she cannot seem to muster up the courage.
Insecure(Weakness!) – Liza worries painfully about what others thing of her. She is always well-groomed, making sure to check her reflection often in case something might be askew. Her insecurity also influences her opinions; she is much like a sheep in that her voice always echoes that of the group leader. She’ll do anything to ensure she remains in the popular clique, even if it means shutting her mouth and disagreeing with her own thoughts and beliefs. This makes her easy to lure in, so long as you make her believe the cool kids are all doing it. It also affects how other students see her; while she may be able to maintain her status within the popular clique, she certainly doesn't have any close friends and they are sure to mock her brown-nosing behind her back.
Mistrusting – Taking a leaf from her sister’s book, Liza also has a difficult time trusting people. It might be a part of her insecurity and low self-esteem that she is always worried that people may be talking behind her back or plotting against her but aside from that, she has a hard time getting truly close to anyone. However, it does not genuinely seem to bother the girl as she is perfectly fine sharing her secrets with her horses.
Physical Description:
Hair: Rich, dark brown hair, almost always pulled into a large braid.
Eyes: Her eyes are a pale steelblue color, and are wide and doelike in shape (unless she's giving you a sneaky glare, of course).
Face: Her face is fairly round and childish for the most part, but is slightly angular, losing the chubbiness of youth.
Body: Liza boasts a very athletic build due to her active interests. She's marginally taller than average for her age, with long legs and torso. Her skin is normally not quite pale but as she spends most of her time outside, she tends to have a more naturally tanned complexion.
Fashion: Her style is best described as 'business casual' or even 'preppy'. She enjoys finely tailored garments that have a certain formal air and is certainly no stranger to labels. She also loves to throw in little pops of color, like a barette or hair ribbon, or even fun, cute little earrings. However, as long as a trend doesn't deviate outrageously from her style, Liza is likely to imitate a similar style to what her friends or the popular group is wearing.
