Required Classes
These classes are mandatory for all students.
« Charms »[ Class instructor is Arlene Maverick ] • [ Acceptable years include 1 - 7 ] • [ Class can be located here ]Charms instructs students in the magic necessary to adjust objects in a way that is traditionally unnatural for the object (for example, changing the color or levitating a ball.) The classes are considered difficult due to the wandwork involved. They are held during weekdays, usually three times in a week, and are sorted by Year. « History of Magic »[ Class instructor is Circinus Bulstrode ] • [ Acceptable years include 1 - 7 ] • [ Class can be located here ]History of Magic shares with students the substantial and diverse course of events that created the Wizarding World, and all of its surrounding history. Classes are conducted twice each week, and are sorted by Year. « Transfiguration »[ Class instructor is Minerva McGonagall ] • [ Acceptable years include 1 - 7 ] • [ Class can be located here ]Transfiguration instructs students in the magic of changing or relocating objects. Classes are held during weekdays, typically three times in a week, and are sorted by Year. Additionally, in order to graduate students are required to take two years of the following classes:
Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, History of Magic, Defense Against the Dark Arts.
These classes may be taken at any point between years 1 through 7.
