The Cabbie’s Job
Working, working patiently. Moving on four wheels you see. To most the jobs an easy one. Not aware we work till 12 hours are done. We wait to give someone a ride. On good days they all seem to hide. On hot sunny days the business is slow. Then we work for lease and gas you know Fowl weather the business really moves. That’s when you figure you can’t lose. All of a sudden just like that! You wind up with a tire flat. You go to change it, but alas no jack. Someone borrowed it, and forgot to put it back! Finally you’re back on the road. Pick Up State and Spring your told. It runs 1dollar and 50 cents. This makes aggravations more intense. But there are some highlights to all of this. They are mostly when you get long trips. These are few and far between. And for some they are never seen. So if you think it’s easy driving all day long. Come and join us you’ll see your wrong. Tolerant Cabbies are so rare. Because at times its hell out there!
