Okay so we went to 5 invitationals this season and I got to say most of the schools made me hate my school lots. Not the acedemics or the band or the sports...but how the schools looked. Our school is OLD and tiny and these school were severly NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking of moving a couple of times (can't do it then I'd miss my friends to much). Have you ever had anything like that happen to you?

We used to have an invitational, and it was really nice. But, we stopped, because we ended up losing money out of it (because we had to use the football field down the road from the school.)
I'll never forget, the first one I went to... it made me join band.

i wish my school could host a festival, but we have no press box...We are hosting regionals though.
Anyway, my friend is actually following the urge to move. She is moving two hours away, to the school that hosted state festival.
But festivals did make me kind of disapointed that I didn't go to my b's school. Their band is super amazing! And huge. Ours is amazing but small. But, i love it. Besides, if i were to transfer schools within my district, which this school is in, I would not be able to be in band for a year. Plus, we are all pretty sure they bribe their drill makerXD This guy is pretty good, and he costs oodles to make drill for you, but his son just happens to be dm at this school, and their drill is always written by this guy.
