Yeah I finally caught Mespirt with a dusk Ball when it had 10 Hp left at Snowpoint City at Midnight two day ago I think after two months of chasing. (YAY)
I did the side quest about Sailor E's Kid weeks ago was happy about getting another Super cool Pokemon but it fled. So then I had two roaming Pokemon but it made it easier to get Mespirt I think. Since it showed up a lot more (but it fled more too) However Cresslia was worst untill I got my Crobat up to level 62. It's been a week now and usually I can get Cressila at either on Route 221, route 218, but usually the dreaded 216 or 217 on the way to Snowpoint City.
It sucks because I attacked it only twice with fly so I could at least get half of it's HP down but because of the Hail storm around those routes it's now to 1 HP. However for whatever reason I have more luck in nearly catching it around Snowpoint City than any of the other routes since Psych attacks knock out Crobat. But if it pops out of a dusk or quick ball it dies cause then the Hail storm knocks out both my Crobat and Cressila. Then I have to start over without saving.
And yeah I still don't want to use my Master Ball since I haven't got the Pokemon at either the Snowpoint Temple or Spring Patch and those are at level 70 right? So I will probably need my one little Master Ball with one of those. (Probably the one at Snowpoint Temple is my guess)
I'm just so confused! crying I been trying to win at the lottery which is why I been trading via GTS but no luck yet. Oh and that Newspaper guy ask for Mespirt a little too soon. I bet he probably would have gave me another Master Ball but no luck since Mespirt didn't want to get caught during that time limit. crying

the paper man'll lgive poke, ultra and dusk in that order
master ball is no.1 prize only in the lotto IIRC
and as for your technique: well,
are you flying?
fly to say, floroma, and toggle between maps until Cresselia apears near you, using a pokemon in the 40's range and use a super repel, then go until cresselia fights you, that should save it's health and allow you to chuck balls wildly with no interference from weaker pokemon
in fact thats how i caught all the runners,
Entie, raikou, suicune, latios/latias, mesprit/cresselia, all obtained by doing that one method
of course route varied, but,
just be sure you've seen them first or it's hit-n-miss, which in this case you have so no worries

Aw, Heck is right. That's how I've caught two of the three bird pokemon in Platinum. Just walk back and forth between two areas, and each time, Cresselia will move. Eventually it will end up in the same area as you. smile
|

Colonel_J_Carden the one at snow point is just a regi not worthit he sucks something major compared to the toher three, maybe his slow start makes it fair for non-legends that could be hopeful on taking him out however after five time of both pokemon moving, his slow start stops and he's murderous after that aww heck, i used a serious regigigas and KO'edthe E4 in slow-start mode, then agaisnt teh champ's garchomp, my slow-statrt ended and her garchomp...d-i-e-d but since then i've eased him hopin for a better one and he is worth it, just dont expect too much from him he's an offensive staller,

Aww Heck Colonel_J_Carden the one at snow point is just a regi not worthit he sucks something major compared to the toher three, maybe his slow start makes it fair for non-legends that could be hopeful on taking him out however after five time of both pokemon moving, his slow start stops and he's murderous after that aww heck, i used a serious regigigas and KO'edthe E4 in slow-start mode, then agaisnt teh champ's garchomp, my slow-statrt ended and her garchomp...d-i-e-d but since then i've eased him hopin for a better one and he is worth it, just dont expect too much from him he's an offensive staller, Well I can't figure out how to even get close to that one since I can't figure out the puzzle yet. So it doesn't matter for now. I hate those ice floor because those are logical puzzles and I suck at logic based puzzles like that. stressed

I just feel silly using my last resort like that but she just wouldn't listen to reason. This has also been a personal worst for me. I mean I spent five hours today just battling one Pokemon and I missed my favorite esp. of Avatar the last Air-bender crying I love the Boiling Rock pt. 1 & 2.
So yeah that's all I did today was use my Master Ball on a Pokemon that I have now dub Usgai from Sailor Moon. It fits since Cressila is the Lunar Pokemon.

I just broke down and used my Master Ball that said I really just want to trade her into another game to play and she being yet another reason I should just by Platinum and another DS system before HG and SS comes out. It fits since Cressila is the Lunar Pokemon. c'grats Usagi means "rabbit of the moon" her name was based off of a legend that a rabbit would guide poeple trough dark nights, and this rabbit somehow lived in the moon it's founded further by actually looking at te moons craters correctly, you'll see a small bunny-like shape kinda up-side-down if you follow their outlines it's neat, but i kinda thina Luna woulda been better since she has moons for wings and Usagi is a bunny, not a bird plus the pigtails added the bunny-ear effect but give me Jupiter any day and she'll be super happy for sure!, same with mars and merc, and i guess pluto (my fave senshi)

Colonel_J_Carden you know there is a way to get another master ball in game right. i can;t remember what it is been to long since i have but i know there is i used to do it every time i started over true but dont rely on it, it's getting all five ID numbers to match in the jubilife tv station lotto it's extremely difficult, as the percentage of it being close to yours is like 1 in a million thats why the master ballwork without fail, because of it's rarity

I got close two days ago. I got Three matches and got an exp. share (I think) or maybe it was PP up? I forget but I was really close. I need more Pokemon from France razz

If I get a DS lite I'm just going to trade them if and when I also get Platinum. (Hopefully, with my next paycheck I dunno) sweatdrop I liked Chibi-Moon and Sailor Saturn. heart
