My cousin's(who I can't stand, she's super spoiled and ungrateful) grandma, who is Japanese makes a really good tempura. She's really nice, I wish she was my grandma. Both of my grandmas are not that great. My dad's mom is in the UK, and doesn't attempt to have any relationship with me. My mom's mom, my grandma(also my cousins) never wanted to be with me when I was little because I was diabetic. She actually told my mom that she didn't want to be with me. Now that I'm an adult there isn't much of a relationship either. I've tried. Anyways.... My cousin's grandma paid for my cousin and her mother to go to Japan. She brought me back a makeup bag. She's really nice and makes amazing tempura!!

The reason I don't like my cousin(Her name is Kateland, pronounced like Katlin) is that she's an only child, gets everything she wants and after her grandma(her name is Toshi) took her to Japan, she complained about going to her birthday. I forget how old she is, but it was like her 70th or something like that. She made a big deal about not wanting to go on Myspace because it was the same night as a concert. What she said made me want to slap her.

Toshi also volunteers for Unicef. Once I'm back in AZ, I want to ask her if she'll teach me Japanese cooking/the language. (The Unicef store is amazing too!!)

Sorry I vented a bit. I wanted to explain so everyone would understand. biggrin
