we are starting a gaia church for ALL christians on gaia. BUT we need YOU! without any donations we wouldn't be able to get the church up and running!

how will i know the church is up and running?

we will message anyone who donates when it is open

how much should i donate?

you can donate as much or as lillte as you like, we recomend 100 to 1000 gold.

is there any other way i make a donation?

if you have any unwanted item(s) you can send them to us and we will sell them and the money will good to the church fund!

See, this is why I said it was bad form. A banner in the sig is one thing, but making threads to say "come join our group instead of yours that's the same thing" is just plain rude. It's like going to McDonalds and putting up ads for Burger King.

Worse, you're not even a guild yet. You're just trying to collect gold, and we've no guarantee that you'll use it as you claim. I mean, be fair: if you encountered this in the real world, how trusting would you be? Me, I wouldn't be, at all. I'm not accusing you of trying to scam anyone, but I have to consider the possibility, you know. Besides, Xi and I are both guild owners, and we paid for our guilds ourselves.

I don't have any problem with any other guilds or "churches" (though I'm forever skeptical of people asking for money), but I don't believe we should leave these threads up. Certainly, they couldn't get away with this in real life.

But that's just my opinion. Xi, I defer to your leadership.
