Triton let a yawn escape his maw as he crawled from the den he and Bryna had been given. Still blinking sleepy eyes the dark blue wolf stretched and shook his fur out to remove any debris before glancing about. It was a nice morning, the weather was decent and the sun promised to show itself for at least a little while. The burly blue wolf was thankful they'd been allowed to stay - and that Bryna seemed satisfied to stick around - while traveling about the lands of Telk had been eye-opening and interesting but there was something to be said about going to sleep at night and not having to worry about something coming across them in the night..or where your next meal might be coming from.
Yes..there was certainly something good to be said about belonging somewhere but Triton was beginning to feel the restlessness that came from staying in one place to long with nothing to do...the heavy coated male was starting to think it might be time to give something back to this pack, though he wasn't sure yet exactly what that could be. Ah well - there wasn't any point thinking it over here at the den entrance the blue wolf thought to himself and having sufficiently woken up enough he started off towards what seemed to serve as the packs common area to see what he might be able to drum up for a days activities.

The large alpha moved forward, eyes scanning the area. His well trained eyes caught the sight of blue moving amoung the under brush. His lips curled into a smile as he moved forward, his mood much lighter than it had been when he ran into Macha and HanGeng playing together. Now he wanted to speak with the two, but it seemed Bryna was still asleep. So, he moved to the male, his deaf ear evertwitching.
"Good morning," He mused after a moment, "It has been nice to have you and your female here on the lands. You seem to fit in rather well." A nod was given then.
"Are you going to stay as members of the pack?" It was more curiousity than anything, it would be nice to be able to give a nice rank to the other if he was capable of handling it.

Triton wasn't sure just whom he had anticipated running into during his jaunt amid the pack lands - but the Alpha was a nice surprise and Triton ducked his head to the male in respect when he approached before answering the inquiry in a cheerful voice. "Any morning hen you wake up warm and safe is a good one to me" The blue male agreed with a slight chuckle "And we have certainly enjoyed out time here thus far, I don't think Bryna would find much of a reason to move on" He continued after a few moments pause "And as long as she is agreeable..and you will have us, I think we might" He finally concluded with a glance over his shoulder back towards the den he and Bryna had been staying in, as far as he knew the other was still pleased to be here and was agreeable to staying...and he certainly wasn't keen on the idea of wandering again. It was a lonely existence...even if he had Bryna to share it with.

"I would enjoy it you would decide to stay." Haku nodded his head a few times. "I've watched you a little, Triton, and you are quite a strong and loyal wolf. If you decide to stay, I would like to offer you a rank that is very much needed in this pack."
The large Alpha took a seat in front of the other. "Most wolves.. they prefer to hunt seperatly even within the pack. I want this pack to be different, to hunt as a team and take down large prey. We would need a talented wolf to train each member of the pack on how to hunt properly, to make sure they stay as a team even through the hunt." His maw curled into a content grin, dark eyes examining the other. "I want you to consider taking this position if you decide to stay, Triton."
He was going out on a limb, assuming the other would even want to stay.. But he felt the other was loyal enough that he could take such a position seriously. He needed several wolves he could trust with these sort of things within the pack, seeing as their previous higher ranks were falling down on the job.

When the alpha sat down before him Triton took that to mean that this would be a meaningful conversation rather then a simple passing hello, how are you? type of thing. That, he thought, was a good sign. It would give him a chance to better know the alpha perhaps, something the blue male would be grateful for as he preferred a pack with a tight knit bond between all member's...high ranking to lowly alike. To many packs these days were clickish and elitist things which made Triton privately wrinkle his nose in distaste. Thankfully for he and Bryna's welfare this was something he had been able to keep in check during their travels.
Following the alpha's lead Triton eased himself back on his haunches as well, though she was already rather flattered by the Alpha's comments. It was things he liked to think were quite true - but of course Triton was far to humble to go about bragging or flaunting such things to others. He'd been raised better then that. As the alpha continued on Triton had to work hard to keep his jaw from dropping...offering a position to Bryna sure, his silvery companion was strong and the clear leader of their unit...but offering him a position, well now...that was new.
He thought briefly about declining the invitation - there simply had to be someone else more qualified, but as he considered the Alpha's desires Triton found himself becoming pretty enthralled with the idea. It just...made sense. "I..would be honored" He finally managed to get out "It's a brilliant idea! and would not only keep the pack well fed even during harsh seasons but..just think of the bonds such actions would create!" He continued in obvious excitement before bringing himself back under control and giving the alpha a sheepish look "Though of course I'm sure you've already thought of all that"

Haku nodded his head a few times, giving a small grin to the other. he felt as though he could trust him, having loyal pack members was very important. He needed to give them the oppertunity to blossom, to become the wolves that he was sure they wanted to be.
"It will be a lot of work, you will need to assess each member, find their strengths and weakness' and work with each of them. I do, however, have faith that you can handle these duties." His eyes glowed a little, showing htat he was content that the blue would would be willing to take such a position and responsiblity.
"I will also need your help in finding a Hunting Captian. The two of you will work together, but the Captian focuses on what to hunt, levels of these game to keep them even, and the over all locations of said hunt. It's very important that the two of you can work together."
He gave a nod then, looking past the other towards the hunting lands. "This territory is precious, Trinton. I hope that you will come to love it as much as I do."

Triton having reined in his excitement somewhat ducked his head slightly as Haku described the duties he would need to preform in order to fulfill this role. It did sound as though it would take some work - but Triton had never been a wolf to shy away from a challenge and he certainly wouldn't start being one now. In any case the blue wolf was fully on board with these plans and thought for sure that the benefits to the pack would make up for whatever sacrifices he had to make of his personal time to see them through. "Yes of course...I won't let you down sir" He answered Haku.
His thoughts however had already turned to the alpha's second statement. This would be a slightly more difficult challenge - mostly because Triton had yet to meet many members of the pack, though he supposed he would have an excuse to do so now wouldn't he? "I'm a pretty amiable beast" He told the other after a few moments thought "I don't think it will be hard to find someone I can work well with" he assured Haku though the others gaze seemed to have drifted over his shoulder. It was obvious even without his words that Haku loved his land - this Triton thought was the sign of a good alpha, how could one live and learn and lead in a place they called home without loving the land that allowed them to do so? "I'm sure that I will, It is nice to have a steady home"

The words that came from the blue wolf made his heart swell with pride. Yes, this was definatly one he could trust and that was more of value than anything in this family-pack. "I have a wolf in mind and will set up a meeting between the two of you." He mused as he tilted his head slightly. "I would appreciate if you took some time in the next few days to aquiant yourself with the other wolves in this pack."
His grin didn't fade as he continued to spoke. "Each member of this pack is very important to me in a different way. I trust that you will come to find the same feelings and trust in them." He turned his head to stare towards the area of the dens.
"I would really like to hear your reports of what you feel each member could accomplish. More out of curiousity than anything else."

"Of course" Triton agreed with a brief nod of his head as Haku mentioned setting up a meeting, he was glad to hear the Alpha had a wolf in mind as he was eager to get this plan in motion, it was exciting and useful and Triton was eager to find some way in which to be useful to this pack.
"I will certainly make an effort to seek them all out - from what I have seen and heard I am truly looking forward to getting to know them better, and I'm sure each has the potential to take part in this plan of yours and shine in some way" He continued "I will let you know what I think once I've had the time to realize their talents"
