Mara scowled her customary scowl as she strode towards the bandshell in the park. Why anybody would be doing a musical festival in this wretchedly cold weather was beyond her. But some good bands were supposed to be playing and she was itching to get out of the house.
The little Wrath-Humility spawn was not supposed to go out by herself. But Kaimi was gone and Naomi was at work and there was absolutely nobody to tell her what she could and couldn't do. So Mara was discovering the pleasures to be found in doing what you wanted, when you wanted.
She'd taken Gift with her, of course. The big white dog trotted placidly alongside it's mistress, smiling a doggish smile. Mara felt some of her resentment towards the world start to burn away with the cold. She even found herself smiling a little, her fangs showing. It was looking like it would be a pretty decent day, the spawn thought to herself, until she ran smack into some guy.
"Hey! Watch it!" Was her rude comment, nevermind that she had been the one to run into him.

Armaroq had woken up that morning to find that he had grown. Although Wren and Xavier were happy he was slightly displeased. He hadn't made many friends in his childhood and wondered why he had grown so quick. Xavier explained that people grow at different rates and that he would meet new friends as he grew older. Armaroq only wondered how long it would take to meet these friends.
Xavier had heard about some bands playing in a local park, one of which happened to be his favorite, and decided to take Armaroq to hear some music. At first, Armaroq wanted to stay home and get used to his older body but soon complied with Xavier's request.
Now wandering towards the stage Armaroq gazed up with his good eye at the guitarists playing a loud, grunge sounding song. He wasn't paying much attention to the people around him and squeaked when Mara bumped into him. His head jolted around to see her make her rude comment. Eyes widening and hair standing slightly on end he shouted back. "Why don't YOU watch yourself?" He growled, squeaking quickly afterwards. "I'm sorry! I-I..."

"You should be sorry." Mara snarled. Truth be told, she was itching for a fight, though this was nothing new. The little spawn had altogether too much wrath in her to not want to beat up everyone, even though they were usually bigger and stronger than she was.
She'd been trying to be better, she truly had. It's just that sinking your fangs into someone's shoulder and getting your hair pulled out was so... satisfying. Crossing her arms, she glared up at the older boy with as much heat as she could muster, which was a significant amount. If she could get him to throw the first punch she could plead self-defense and wouldn't get into as much trouble. She really, really hoped he wasn't one of those people who didn't believe in hitting girls.

Armaroq stared at Mara for a second before growling loudly. He usually didn't growl at girls, basically because Xavier told him not to. But Xavier was several feet away from the pair and he couldn't hear him.
One clear green eye now echoing the amount of heat as she was generating towards him. It only took one hair brained decision for him to raise his arm and punch her in the face with about as much force as he could muster.
"Well then I'M SORRY." He stated sarcastically. He liked this new side of himself. It was wild and crazy. Although, it had a strange sort of emotional pain to it that he couldn't decipher. He rapidly decided it was nothing when a small crowd began to form around them. He glared at Mara with a devious smirk.
"You gonna fight back or what?"
