1. If you have "지" at the end of a sentence, does it sort of mean "not"?
would these be Correct ---->?
"프랑스어가 많이 복잡하지."
"쟤는 지금 행복하지."

2. umm... I can't think of a way to ask what ~구나 means so I will just have examples of what I think it can be used for sweatdrop
would these be Correct---->?
"넌 많이 공부하는구나?"
"너는 언어들 관심구나?"

3. I'm still having troubles with "~ㄴ데/~은데"... I have come across a sentence where the implied "but" doesn't completely work. sweatdrop
I guess it must be extremely hard to explain since there is no English equivalent... could you give me some examples?
maybe I could pick it up if I am lucky. sweatdrop

hmm well negations often follow after '지' but I don't think the sentence with 지 itself implies 'not'.

- They all make sense.

haha you got it right smile 구나 is attached at the end when asking a question.

너는 언어들에 관심있구나?

My friend said "싫은데? =P" to me it doesn't make sense to have the "은데" an implied "but" the way it was used. sweatdrop
(we were talking about how much we hate this one person... That person always just takes what she wants stare )

thank you for the helping =D, I really appreciate your explanations. It makes learning Korean A LOT easier.
In 2 months It will be a year since I started. =]
