Don't you have one of those yourself?
PostPosted: Thu Dec 10, 2009 7:04 pm

Had. it was one of my favorite amps. the tiny terror can hang with a drummer. just don't expect it to be very clean at that volume though. It sounds beautiful when it's cranked.

oh my... I am getting excited just thinking about it. honestly it's one of the coolest little amps around. I kind of want to get the dual and a lopoline 1x12. then run a line 6 m9 in front. I would be perfectly content with that set up.

whoa they've gone up in price a little. I was checking out the tiny terror about a month ago. I think you could get away with $420 shipped.

I want one bad.

Either that, or I'll splurge on either this or this. I really want a new amp though. I might save up some cash after xmas if I get a job and just get the Dual Terror though.

ALSO: if I get the Dual, I was looking for a good 2x12 that would be fairly cheap. I found a Bugera for about 200 right here. Do you have any reccomendations?

I was going to suggest lopoline it seems their prices have gone up quite a bit though. I got my 2x12 for about $400 shipped with v30s. their signature series is the closest you can get to an orange cab without the price. well it's pretty close now. so a used orange cab might not be out of the option any more. unless you want different tolex/speakers.

Looking through their catalouge I was looking at the larger 1x12s. I know nothing about amps, so you think that would work?

Lopo? yeah, I was thinking about doing that. getting a signature 1x12 with a v30. it should be fine. the v30 is a 60 watt speaker. the enclosure is pretty thick so you should be able to get a decent bass response with the 1x12.

Yea, I was thinking about getting an Orange Tiny Terror as well, but I'm going for one of these babies instead.

Exactly what I'm looking for right there. Vintage tone goodness.

Wow that is a pretty good price for a 50's Gretch-amp clone. Thing must handel Jazz-styles REAL well.

But Im more then happy with my new-used-new '77 Deluxe Reverb right now.
