The City of Canalave is where the MasterBall academy took up roots. The attraction to this specific city began solely based on the expansive library and fount of knowledge within. Eventually, the school's found came to the conclusion that they simply couldn't let the library sit where it was without somebody to teach the contents of that library to the young trainers of the world.
A short ferry ride around the tree line eventually brings one to a small dock on a beach. From that dock, one can make out the roofs of the Masterball Academy dormotories.
