Alrighty...
So it's 9:00 pm
I just got back from a concert :3
We did great
better than any practice we've ever done.
Percussion was AMAZING.
I got lost a few times...but thats cuz i can't hear myself xD
Aanyway my BD was flipping out
sweating like crazy...
He have a really scary face at the beginning of one of our songs
i'm not kidding
i didn't play for like 2 measures cuz i was so shocked...
then
someone threw our mascot the purple gorilla at the audience...
ahh...i love band biggrin
So the main point of this is to post funny/weird/regular concert experiences.

We're playing it in our concert. The baritone part is SO BORING. Only one trumpet player even wants to do it. We'd much rather do Carol of the Bells.

I just got back from oru concert. i'm sure we sounded better then I think we did, but oh well. I know we could have done better, had we had longer then after thanksgiving to actually leanr our music. So, for our time restraints, we did pretty good.
But afterwords when we stood up, we all laughed because the girl next to me knocked her chair downXD It was pretty funny. Adn then she went to pick it up, and the bd was like "ignore it" all quietly so only we would hear. She just stopped and looked at me, laughing.

Once at an orchestral concert, we were playing those Hungarian dances or whatever, and there were three movements. So the audience made sure not to applaud at the wrong time (I'm sure everyone here knows how annoying it is when people applaud between movements...).
Problem is, they were so careful about this they didn't even clap at the end of the piece. Our director had to get off the podium and motion for them to clap. It was pretty funny.

I am ashamed! Kill me now! I am in 2ed level band, sophomores and some juniors and, lord help me, THE FRESHMAN BAND SOUNDED BETTER THEN US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! crying crying crying I almost cried!
