 " Pantera's "I'll Cast a Shadow"" hit the PA as Draze came out to a huge pop from the crowd pounding his head and chest. At the top of the ramp, He then threw 8 punches, causing red pyrotechnics to blast behind him. Next he clapped his hands together causing the gold pyros to blast in front of him. He then made his way to the ramp, tagging fans hands. He then entered the ring, as he took off his hat, shades, and jacket, as he waited on Soul Enigma.  "Now residing in LA, weighing in at 280lbs, the Dragons Haze, DRRAAAZZZZEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"And the opponent...!" The lights were cut in traditional Soul Enigma fashion, however the usual Figure .09 did not play. There was no jeering or cheering from the crowd as they awaited to see if it truly was Soul. The familiar dark blue smoke overwhelmed the arena, but still no titantron. The beat to Welcome to the World - Kevin Rudolf ft. Kid Cudi kicked in. The blue-white lights began their usual sequence around the ring and the crowd. Soul Enigma's original titantron began to play, with some of the highlights of his recent matches. The crowd began cheering that their hero had returned. "Weighing in at 228lbs, from England... 'The Renegade' SOUL ENIGMA!!!!!!!!" At this point Soul Enigma stepped int the arena, the white lights had been focused on his position, allowing the blue ones to spell out his name on the crowd.  Soul stopped just before the ramp, took couple of steps back then ran forwards a couple of steps throwing his right fist in the air signalling for the fireworks to be set off. Soul continued down the ramp putting his arms out to clap with the fans' hands. As he reached the ring he climbed up the turnbuckle then faced the crowd, throwing his right fist up in the air again. He ran to the turnbuckle directly opposite and did the same there. Soul took off his goggles, glasses, and jacket. He threw each one into a different section of the crowd before throwing his fist in the air in the centre of the ring one more time.  Soul stepped to his side of the ring and awaited the ref to start the match.

As the bell rang, Draze approached Soul, offering for a handshake.

Soul wasn't sure whether to shake Draze's hand or not. Not knowing whether Draze would shake his hand or do something worse.
Soul cautiously approached and accepted the hand shake.

Draze smiled as he then let go and began to circle around, hoping Soul would follow.

Soul wasn't going to play along with Draze's game. Soul turned to Draze and laughed. "You would have had more chance of survival in a cell match against me."
Soul's intentions were aimed high up, involving his favourite match type and weapon... Ladders. Soul would attempt to throw some punches at Draze's upper body and head.

Draze took two punches before ducking the third, and turning around. His plan was to nail Soul with a discus clothesline once he turned around.

Soul decided to mock Draze by overselling the clothesline. This was not his main reason for overselling, however it seemed to get the crowd going. Soul rolled out of the ring and lay on the floor for a couple of seconds, then pulled himself up acting as if he was serverely injured, before bursting out laughing.
Soul grabbed his favourite toy from under the ring, the crowd cheered at his humor. Once Soul had set the ladder up out side the ring, he climbed up to the top, Soul taunted as if to indicate he was going to attempt a suicidal move at Draze. However, Soul simply jumped back into the ring and went for another flurry of punches.

Draze was starting to get irritated, as he was taken down by Soul's flurry of punches.

Soul took a few steps back. He would attempt a baseball slide at Draze. As Soul slid in Draze's direction the the crowd cheered as the realised Soul might be trying something new.

Draze was hit with the baseball slide, as he was taken to the outside, landing on his back on the inch thick mats.

Soul turned to the reff "Don't even think about it." Soul slid out of the ring to grab his ladder, when doing so the crowd cheered, realising what their hero was doing. Soul brought himself and the ladder back into the ring and set it up by the side that Draze was.
The ref began to try and stop Soul enigma from climbing up it, "Are you crazy?" Soul responded with; "Are you? I'm the one with the damn ladder!" The ref stepped back and sighed as he knew Soul would remove him from the equation if he got involved. Soul continued up the ladder, when he reached the top he taunted to the fans and decided what to do, Fight with Draze at the top or jump on him. Soul decided to attempt a moonsault at Draze.

Since Draze was on his back, he could see what Soul was doing. Draze then lifted up his knees, so Souls Midsection would crash right onto his knees!

Soul's body came crashing down into Draze's knees. Soul groaned in pain as his body had finally hit the floor. Soul wanted to win his opening match, so he wasn't about to let that ground him for long.
Soul began crawling back into the ring slowly, and in the same slow fashion back up the ladder in hope of Draze following.
