I just moved into a new apartment, and I have baseboard heating. I've had gas heat in my last two places, and the sound of the baseboards ticking wakes me up. I don't sleep all that well to begin with.

Also, my water bottle shattered last night because I left it in the car. Now there are ice chips everywhere.

This is the kind of weather that makes me want to quit smoking. It wouldn't be so bad if it would just rain, or snow or something. But it's so dry. I feel like the cold is sucking all the moisture and heat out of me every time I have to go outside.

Urgh.
