This rp is separate in time area from the knights and whatnot. This is when Mordred is grown and the time between Agrona's attack has been quite a while.

Lillith was sleeping in the dark forest that she had battled the knights. They definitely had their strength, but yet she didn't know what to think of them. Nonetheless did she know what to do. She would stay loyal to Agrona as long as she needed her, but her main mission was to make sure no one harmed her brother or to figure out who was strong in this area. There definitely had to be someone who could convince her that they were strong and could do what they wanted with her. Lillith was now probably an enemy of the knights so she couldn't just waltz in and say hey I want to become a member let me test if Agrona was worthy and whatnot. Besides, they probably wouldn't agree with her ideals as not many did. How long had it been since she escaped her wretched pack and choose the life of a wanderer/assassin for hire? Too long for her sake. Even trying to make sure her brother didn't get killed was tedious to her sometimes. "Hopefully that nobody he hangs out with can be trusted." She then got up and headed out of the dark forest and into the regular parts although making sure to stick to the shadows

Mordred lay in the tall grass that made up the mansion's backyard and stared up at the cloudy sky. Concealed by the dead grass, he felt like he was able to hide from the life that had been thrust upon him when his mother simply abandoned him so many months ago.... or had it been a year already? He had lost track and was determined to continue blocking that painful day from his mind. Much time had passed for the dark male and he had grown into an adult fed up with the "happy family lifestyle" that Ateryu tried to pull him into whenever possible. He was sick of all of that... sick of not having a place where he fit in.
"Ugh!" He growled and rolled over to push himself up. He needed to take a walk to calm down before he returned to sitting room and the place where he never felt he belonged. With a sigh, he started off towards the forest to go and explore more of the territory. As he traveled further into the woods, he zoned out and simply walked wherever his paws decided he should go.

Lillith sniffed the air. For some reason the scent that entered the woods seemed a bit familiar, but yet it didn't. It smelled like one of the knights, but yet she wasn't sure. She flew up into a tree to scout the area since she didn't know who it was, but once she caught sight of Mordred she didn't worry too much. He didn't pose much a threat to her, but what was he doing all the way out here? Should she even dare approach him?

After walking for awhile, Mordred opened his eyes and paused. Looking around things looked familiar yet at the same time, it all seemed so new to him. He was sure he hadn't been this far out into the woods but perhaps he had before... long ago.... He glanced around hopefully, wondering it anything would help spark his memory and sniffed tentatively at the air. He enjoyed the scent of forest and the familiar scent that the wind carried with it. The familiar scent of someone... He frowned and glanced around. He wasn't alone like he had first thought himself to be.
"Is anyone out there?" He asked aloud, prepared to stand his ground should he have to defend himself. "Answer me...."

Lillith's ears went back a bit, but nonetheless wasn't upset. "Just a common passerby. That's all..." Was her response as she dropped down from the trees and landed in the bushes. There really was no use of keeping herself a secret since he knew who she was already and cowardice was not her thing to do. "Besides...I'm surprised you've came this deep into the woods."

Had she not have answered him, Mordred's annoyance would have grown and he probably would have started to ram into trees to find whoever it was that was lurking in the shadows. When she spoke and jumped down from the tree, he knew her voice and he recognized her features... He felt himself being pulled back to that day, so long ago, that his sisters were taken from him and the knights had been forced to come to these woods to find them. From what he could remember she had been fighting Balto with another wolf who had looked like he had been stained with blood.
"The dead woods... I hate this place..." Strangely, he did not fear her. He was uneasy around her sure but he did not show her fear; he only showed her that he did not trust her and refused to relax from his tense position. "An enemy of those knights.... interesting." He tilted his head as he studied her. "It's been a while since we've last seen each other hasn't it?"

Lillith noticed he was uneasy, but she didn't really care. "Yes..." A smirk crossed her face for an instance. "Although my loyalties...don't always lie with the dark blue wolf. I just make sure my brother doesn't get too carried away or no one kills him. That's my main goal...or at least...whatever remains..." She looked at the woods. "Really? You won't attract unwanted visitors in here sometimes." She yawned a bit. "Truthfully I fought that day, because I wanted to see if these so called knights are as strong as they claim to be."

So she wasn't truly committed to Agrona? Studying her carefully, Mordred realized it wasn't so odd as it had sounded at first.
"I see... but then, I also why your concern goes mainly to your brother." He thought back to the fight that day and only had vague memories of what he assumed was her brother fighting and shuddered. Just the look of that male made Mordred imagine things could have gone horribly wrong given the chance. He pushed the memories of that day aside for now as he was starting to grow curious of the dark female when she mentioned her true intentions of that day. She wanted to see the knights worth? "And what was your verdict of them? Did they live up to what you expected?"

She closed her eyes. "Yes...I will agree they can talk their way out of things, but they seem rather foolish if I don't say so myself. Balto when I fought him was decent in strength...I'll give him that. I'm not sure about the others, but I will admit they put up a good fight with the others considering some were questionably not your normal moonlits in Agrona's army." She opened her eyes. "However, if they think that the perfect family will always be together forever till the end...then they are dead wrong on that. Normally there will be one thing wrong in the system." Lillith started to head back her way, but turned her head around. "My old pack...it always had war, blood, and murders, it was never safe, you could never trust anyone since any wolf could be a spy for someone trying to overthrow you if you were in a higher up position."

Mordred listened intently to what she had to say about the pack he grown up in. He chuckled though when she mentioned that they were able to talk their way out of things. That did seem to be a talent of theirs. He could still picture of a few of the questionable moonlits that had been apart of that dark army.
"Agrona did have an advantage that day..." The talent Lillith spoke of had saved their lives and the lives of his sisters. But there had been something he had been wondering about ever since that trip to the Dead Woods that day. Why hadn't those wolves killed all of them when they had the chance?
"You're right you know...." Mordred called after her as she started to head away from him. "All of them are so caught up with maintaining their imaginary world where they're safe and happy." He closed his eyes and shook his head. "I'm sick of acting like everything is perfect... I want to shatter it so badly... make them open their eyes to the real world and pull them out of their fantasies." He slowly opened his eyes and shook his head. "Heh, why am I telling you all of this? For all I know you still see me as an enemy... I don't even know your name..." "

Lillith looked like she had no emotions left...even though that was a big facade she normally played. "Well...I don't consider you my enemy. The only ones I consider my enemy are the ones that wish to destroy my brother." She cocked her head. "I wouldn't blame you for wanting to do that..." Lillith sighed a bit. "Since you seemed to have trusted me I'll trust you. I'm half the reason why my family is dead as well as the pack, but my reasons would be different then yours...it's a long story..."
PostPosted: Wed Dec 16, 2009 5:14 pm

He looked startled to hear that she didn't consider him her enemy but hearing her reason for it made since. He had no plans on harming or going after her brother. Hearing that, he visibly relaxed and nodded his head.
"Strangely, I do trust you... I don't know why...." He tilted his head to the side, suddenly curious. "And don't worry, I have all the time in the world. I..." He glanced back the way he had come, where the manor was and where his life as a knight lay waiting for him. He didn't want to go back yet; he couldn't go back yet. "I have all the time in the world. You killed your family? Why?"

Lillith sighed. "Well let's just say my parents thought very highly of me. Our clan was born with wings. Blood Rain was not born with wings and was deformed at birth. The villagers constantly tried to kill him which is why he has so many blood stains and scars. Truthfully his name used to be Alacazar, but everyone started calling him Blood Rain since when others would try to attack him Rains of blood from their bodies would occur." She paused for a moment.

"Eventually my mother and father even tried to kill him, but escaped with me. That was the last time I saw my brother for a while. A couple years passed and they tried their hardest training me to take over their business, but it was so stressful and tiring. I don't like being used as a puppet. They also started to deny that Blood Rain had any relations to them. I just had to teach them a lesson for their foolishness." She sighed. "That's the story summed up as best as I can say."
PostPosted: Sat Dec 19, 2009 5:59 pm

Mordred listened intently to the story Lillith was telling him of her past and he realized that they were strangely similar in many ways. Like Lillith, he would more than likely kill to protect his sisters though it seemed like he was indifferent to them most of the time. Hearing what happened to her brother made Mordred's fears of the male lessen somewhat but not completely. He still had the feeling that Blood Rain was capable of a lot of things. And apparently so was the female in front of him but he admired her for what she did.
"Wow...." He shook his head as she finished. "I find it hard to believe that creatures exist out there that would deny their own kin because they are different. Don't we have such a wonderful world to live in?" He sighed and looked off at the trees surrounding them. "I think you did the right thing though. And your parents using you...." He glanced back at her. "We're alike you and I... puppets used by our parents." He flicked his tail and sighed. "You were able to break away. How does it feel to be free?"

Lillith chuckled a bit sarcastic. "Indeed, but I guess that's life for you." She listened to what he said with a sort of interest. "Guess so, never really thought about it before. When you were fighting us I truthfully didn't know much about you." She coughed a bit. "Guess ignorance can be a hindrance." She blinked when he asked about breaking away a bit surprised he would be interested. "Um...well one thing for sure is I feel ten times better since I don't have to follow their rules. It's better to be true to yourself anyways." She put a paw to her chin to think it over. "Although...none remain to tell the tale of that pack. Blood Rain wiped out half of them and I wiped out the other half."
