I was really looking forward to it but once I saw it I was kinda let down. It was okay, but I don't think it even came close to meeting the standards set by Disney movies like Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, or Little Mermaid. It was kinda B level to me.
And yeah, I was kind of surprised just how heavily stereo typed the cajun firefly was. Loved the voodoo granny lady. Thought the vilian was a bit weak like he was an afterthought instead of a major player.
