Seriously, I just thought I'd mention the incredible job Bioware did on Dragon Age:Origin

My expectations for Mass Effect 2 just got a LOT higher...

Am I the only one who actually laughed while watching this? It could be because I know nothing about what was going up to the point in the clip, but for some reason, it all just seemed so...bad.

Mass Effect 2's bar has always been high for me just from the epicness of the first game. However, I gotta say that Dragon Age: Origins just... I dunno. I just don't like it from everything I hear and I'm not willing to buy it just to try it out. My dad plans on getting it so maybe I'll try it then, but from what I understand... *cough*Yahtzee'sReveiwOfIt*cough* It's standard fantasy stuff.

Alistair is a lot like Nathan Drake (Uncharted) most of the time...funny...
And he is less stuck up than Alenko...eerr...except when it comes to sex but he was templar before becoming a grey warden, come on! lol

This is not a bashing of Mass Effect...This is simply saying that Bioware came out with another master piece, with a very very deep story, and that I hope it means they also learned along the way for M:E 2

the game seriously have an epic story...and bigger than life characters...
It tops the first Mass Effect in my humble opinion...so...COME ON MASS EFFECT 2!

(And course if you don't like the Lord of the ring kind of setting you won't like it, but a lot of politic plots and descision are involved in the story, so I hope we get more of it in Mass Effect 2)
Choices are often more subtle...
Yet have a big long term influence...

Imagine having your choices in Mass Effect 2 getting certain races on your side, other not, or at war with them...etc...I just find it is the step above M:E that is needed to give us a damn good M:E 2

That clip was literally the first one that came up. And being the lazy person I am, I just went w/ it. (but yes, the next day or so w/in posting the vid I did read up on him on the Dragon Age:Origins Wiki.)

hmm well right now im not to far in dragon age origins but it is getting intresting and addicting after playing for a while right now i just focus on the first playthrough

ive only completed on playthrough. i want to play through it again. i plan on eventually getting all the achievments for mass effect, dragon age: origins, fallout 3, and the last 7 im missing on fable II (they are making me mad lol)
so i have the next 6 months planned out the next year if im able to get mass effect...actually itll be longer than that working on learning java then gonna learn c++

They did once say something negative about Kaidan as well, but I don't remember what exactly. (think it had something to do w/ him being either useless, always leaving him behind w/ the salairians or both.) At least he never made Dork of the Year.

Speaking of, the picture they have of your boy for his Dork, umm, 'winning spot', he's not wearing a shirt. (eye candy!)
