*It's hot in the woods as Remy spies the road through his scope. Waiting for their park to come into view. He was hired to take out the drug lord by the U.S. government. Norman Osborn should be driving by on his way to his meeting any moment now. According to Remy's information. He shifts within the shrubs as he focuses his scope. Checking to see if any friendlies were nearby.*
*Out of the corner of Remy's eye he sees something move. Small light being reflected off of something metal catches his eye. He had been set up!*
*He rolls out of the way as bullets hit the round where he had laid a few moments before.*

Chris grunted in frustration as he saw that none of his shots had landed on the mark. He was hoping to get this job done quickly and now that he had been spotted he knew he might be here for a while.

"Bloody hell..."
Remy muttered through clenched teeth as he duvked behind a row of hedge bushes and rolled, so as to avoid any further shots from this second-rate assassin and to bring him closer to taking him out, before he missed his potential mark!
He ducked behind a large tree and waited, unable to refrain from smiling from the 'sport' of this hunt.

Chris watched as his mark took cover. He let out a sigh. "I have things to do" he said quietly to himself. He took a step out from behind his cover to get a better shot but still couldn't see anything. he quickly ducked back and started to think up a new plan of action.

Remy closed his eyes and listened expertly with *all* of his senses, but it told him no more than that the hit was not moving any urther in the attempt to take him out.
Remy called out, "Oh come on now! I we gonna dance den one of us is gonna have to make de first move!"
To avoid a potential gunire, Remy duck and rolled again, behind another tree, further along the path.

"Dance huh? Here let me lead" Chris called out as he fired three shot at where Remy had called out from.

"Sucker..." Remy muttered and he spun from behind the tree and fired in the direction where the flashes from the gun had originated in the dark!

Chris heard the gun fired and bullets flew over him. He knew he was going to have to take a new approach. He wait a minutes and heard nothing but silence. He quickly got up and darted to new cover. He peaked out to see if he could get any hint as to where his attacker was.

"Mon Dieu" Remy muttered in silent contemplation. "What'd they do? Send a bleedin' amateur after me?"
Remy, feeling almost comically insulted, decided that the target for tonight might as well be saved for later. A more pressing engagement o higher interest had reared its head.
Who had betrayed him?
Deciding to find answers here and now, he knew the one most likely 'in the know' would be this one using him for target practice. Smiling, he spun around and began to climb the tree he was in, and looked down, seeing the young male tucked back down the trail behind cover.
He sighed.
They never looked up.
Remy took aim with a new rifle, at the foot of the assassin, and fired a single shot.

Chris heard a slight rustling above him "they never expect you to look up" he said quietly. He had to act quickly. he aimed his weapon the best he could and fired. The shot looked like it was heading for his assailant's arm.
Almost at the same time he head heard a shot fired and then his foot was in great pain. "Ahhh this is not good" He could only hope that his shot hit. Chris tried to hobble away and find somewhere safe.

"SONOFA...!! Remy yelped in surprise *and* pain as Clark's shot missed his hand by a hair's width, but he did not escape by any means. The bullet pierced the very tree trunk LeBeau had been holding onto for balance - caused it to break - and Remy plummeted from the tree's height!
Landing with a heavy thud onto the grassy plain, Remy groaned as the wind had been knocked out of him. He checked for further injuries with his hand and winced when his fingers brushed his ribs, indicating a potential break.
Peeking over the edge of the ground where he had landed, he spotted a flowing river just ten feet down. Sighing, he looked back over his shoulder for a sign of his pursuer, then back to the river.
"Screw it..."
He mumbled and rolled over the edge and fell in with an audible splash!

Chris Turned around when he heard the thud. The man falling out of the tree wasn't his intention, but it would have to do. Ignoring the pain in his foot he headed toward the man who then disappeared over the bank into the river.

Remy suddenly exploded up rom the rivers and swung a cord around Kent's boot and pulled -- hard!

Chris' gun slipped from his hand as his leg was pulled out from under him. He tried to grasp for his weapon, but it was too late he was being pulled closer and closer to Remy. Luckily Remy had chosen Chris's injured foot to grab. Even though he was in great deal of pain Chris still had his good foot free. We wait till he was close to Remy and thrust his foot toward him

Kent's foot connected with Remy's jaw, sending a spittle of blood spewing forward into the grassy overhang to the water below. But Remy's reaction time was impressive enough as he managed to ensnare his attacker's boot by encircling his arm around the ankle.
Remy then released his hold with his other hand and plummeted with his full body weight to the waters, taking Kent along for the ride!
