Alrighty guys! I'm getting ready to set this thing loose but I'd like to get some feedback from you as far as the Rules and mechanics.


Issue Number 1!

I was planning to use my mule account for all donation/lotto/money matters. I'm wondering if that is wise or if I should create a whole new Avi just for this event? My mule is about a year old, and I thought people unfamiliar with either me or the thread would be more comfortable sending things to an account that's been established. But then I came back and thought well...maybe it would be better to have them send it to an avi actually titled RAGAT Bday Event or somesuch. I don't know. whee I can't figure out who I want things sent to. I know I definately do not want to comingle in my main account. In the end I think it would be safest for a completely new avi will password totally unrelated to anything from my main accounts. xd thoughts? help!

Issue Number 2!

Does it read well? do you get a good picture of what the BDay Event is about and how it will be run? I had a very clear picture last night, but when it came down to typing it up I got garbled. i really need more sleep. domokun Suggestions!! do you see any typo's? any better ways of explainging my madness? wink heart

Issue Number 3!

Should the winners of Grand Prizes 1 & 2 get to choose which they want? Ie the first number chosen gets the first choice etc. What I don't want to happen is someone who has everything to get the treasure chest when they wanted the art more and visa vera. *^_^*

Issue Number 4!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to need some Charity Screeners. I need to compile a list of eligibility Rules for Charities. What I don't want happening is a user running out, opening a thread and saying they are a charity just to be in the Charity pool. What should eligibility be based on? I'm thinking more of #'s of people helped, or longevity of the Charity. I know I want it to be at least a month or more old.

Issue #5!

Kind of along the same lines as the Charity eligibility thing...should i place a limit on number of slots to purchased? I have it at 10ish right now and if things don't fill up I plan to open up the limit closer to the closing date. I want to n** people buying up a ton of slots for themselves and instead keep it open for more to participate. That given, another thing I want to avoid is people trying to apply their mule accounts to the Lotto. whee I know it sounds horrible and that I'm not very trusting, but I want to keep this thing as pure as possible especially since I hope it will grow into something really big and wonderful. 3nodding

I think it would be better to make a new account, just to make sure nothing gets mixed up or anything...But it does kind of seem like a waste of an account. u_u; I'm not too sure...

I think it reads well enough. I could understand it, anyway. I think most people who usually are involved in events like this would understand it. 3nodding

Yeah, I think they should get a choice. Probably by the order their chosen...Like AB said, some people just don't appreciate art. u_u;

I think we need rules for eligiblity, but I don't know what kind. I'm no good at that sort of thing.

I think there should definently be a limit...I think 10 sounds reasonable...I think. >_>;
