I like the dl4 but it's so unreliable I don't think I could justify buying one. I miss my fm4 sometimes, and the verbzilla. so for $400, the m9 doesn't seem like such a bad deal. three effects at a time but there are a s**t load to choose from. I'd honestly love to have an axe fx for effects, it's just too expensive for me right now.
I hated the majority of the sounds of the flextone, pod, even the xt. I can't stand the foot controllers either. I've had bad luck with just about every one I've had.
it's either the M9, a buss compressor or a mixer from the 70s.

I'd just buy a DL4 and not stomp on it too hard, or just use it for recording work.

it's not just the dl4 I want though. I really want to see how their new pitchshifter is. I was going to get a pitchfactor but that is ridiculously out of my price range just for a pitchshifter and harmonies.
btw I'm working on covering new york city cops. I have the drums figured out and programmed. I have most of the guitar parts figured out except for a few of them. the "mina's in the bathroom" part. it's close but not quite right.
I'm thinking about doing hard to explain or reptillia too.
