Arriving back at the house she tells the guards to be expecting company soon. Heading to her quarters she gets changed, recieving a message, she starts preping to get her assignment done. once again back to her normal eleven look she walks to her throne room to await her visitor. dismissing her dragons. she sits down to wait.

Tath approached the gates of the house, and noticed the dragons at the gate. He raised his arm to his chest in a Drow salute, and bowed to the guard there.

"I am here to speak to Matron Aleanrae; I have a message for her that is urgent, as well as information she requested. I also bear with me an offer that she will be loathe to refuse."

He smirked broadly; Vhaeraun himself had sent Tath to find his faithful, and Tath intended to comply.

The guard signals for a couple others to act as an escort. as four more guards appear. The gates to the compound open and the guards escort Tath to the throne room where the matron awaits. As the doors close behind them the guards take up positions in the room, as an anti scrying feild activates for the meeting.

Tath bows politely, and rises with a smile.

"Good evening to you, Matron. I understand that you seek information; I am glad to provide anything you wish to know. If I recall correctly, your question regarded the number of followers of gods in this city, yes?"

He paused for a moment, thoughtfully, then continued.

"There are a great deal of Drow in this fair city, and thus it is impossible to give a precise number; however, I can give you a fair estimate based city by city. Lolth is by far the most widely known and worshipped throughout Undergaia, and that is no exception in Au Shinduago. Her citadel is Ulorbbath, and she reigns supreme there. However, there is also a large presence of Vhaeraunites here that willfully counter her from the back alleys and basement shrines. Above us lies a large settlement of Eilistraeeans, as well as various other races and runaways. The Starless Sea is a somewhat godless place, with no truly dedicated religion to be seen, though there may yet be a reckoning. I do not know the composition of Kiaransalee's forces, but she is rarely heard from and holds little power. Finally, the Elder Eye holds practically no influence, and thank the shadows for that."

He concluded with a sigh, and smiled darkly. Now came his true reason for coming, and it had nothing to do with money.

"If you'd like, I have more yet to tell, and of much more pertinent interest... If you wish to hear it, though, I must ask that you dismiss all guards save those you trust with your life. I will surrender my weapon if it will make you feel more comfortable; I bear you no ill-will, this is simply a matter best discussed amongst as small a number as possible."

"Guards you are dismissed, your presence is not needed, keep your weapons consider it a gesture of good faith. Shiva, Shade come forward my friends." with that the guards leave as the juevenile dragons appear. "Please continue i'm listening, and then i may have a few propositions of my own that we could disscuss." Drejan says with a hint of curiosity.

Tath watched the other Drow leave, and watched the Dragons appear.

"I must say, Matron, they are fine looking dragons. I am partial to our scaled brethren myself, but that is not why I am here; my message for you is simple: Come."

He extended his hand theatrically, and withdrew it quickly.

"The Masked Lord, Vhaeraun, has called out to all those who wish to serve him and grow in strength. He has sent me as a messenger of his will, and he has given me gifts to prove my fealty to him. The mask I wear grants me the power of true sight, and Vhaeraun has rendered me immune to poisons as well."

He promptly opened his shirt, revealing unusual red lines that looked almost like a henna tattoo adorning his chest and abdomen. He promptly closed his shirt again, and continued.

"He has called out for Drow to join his Dark Dagger sect, and I am to be his voice. He has promised rewards beyond our comprehension, and already I have tasted of his power. He is indeed mighty, and generous too. If you like, I will pass along a message to him from you. This will commit you to his sect of the Dark Dagger, and earn his favor upon both yourself and your house. If you join us, every shadow will be your domain, and everything that lurks in the dark will bow to you one day. So Matron, I lay the choice before you: Do you wish to grow wise and powerful, one the favored children, or do you wish to remain as you are, dreaming of something more?"

The dragons eyes glow as they silently and stilly cast three spells zone of truth, detect lies, and read thoughts, sending any information they gain to there misstress.

Looking Tath directly in the eyes saying "I dont suppose this is just a co-incidence that i bumped into you as i searched for info on the worshipers of others in the city, as well as searching for prominent individuals that either serve Vhaeraun or those that might prove as useful servants to him, If you are indeed speaking the truth i accept, and offer you a prominent possition in my house. Come i wish to show you the house temple tis one of the largest in the city, only accessible by the most faithful of the masked lord, we will continue this discussion there." standing she proceeds toward the door her dragons following closely, as she heads toward the temple. "Come walk with me i'm sure we have much more to discuss."

All that the dragons detect is truth in his voice, and anticipation of her answer. He has very clear thoughts of Vhaeraun speaking to him on a number of occasions, along with very clear words ordering him to recruit more Drow.

Tathdorl merely shook his head with a smirk.

"I do not believe in coincidence; the gods do not play dice."

He followed her quietly, and listened to her words solemnly.

"Regrettably, I must keep my house affiliation secret in order to prevent accidentally alienating potential recruits. However, I will accept a position in your house as long as it remains secret. I will aid you when I can, as long as your service to Vhaeraun remains true."

He paused, a slight glimmer in his eye.

"I would very much like to see your temple though. I am intrigued by the prospect of the largest one in the city..."

He continued to walk, and he gazed admiringly upon the structure.

"It truly is wonderful. Thank you for inviting me here... What else do you wish to discuss? I am possessed of a great many talents, and serving Vhaeraun has only made them stronger..."

Placing her hand on the wall it slides open into the main part of the temple, the temple itself taking up the whole of a major stalagmite, its ornate carvings and symbols clearly Venerating Vhaeraun, the temple itself clearly warded to all prying eyes. An ornate alter at its focal point a large hand crafted statue of the masked god stands behind it clearly watching one of his holiest of places.

Drejan looks to Tath and says as they enter " I'm in need of a strong spy network in this city and beyond. that is the position i wish you to hold head spy no official association with my house is needed, save that you and any subordinates you hire report to me and me alone, the only other you may report to is Vhaeraun, if you are caught in your endevors for me it will be written off and denied as if your association with me never existed. Do I make myself clear? Your first task is to keep tabs on all moving opossition in the city, and if you should find someone whom might prove worthy of service to the Masked Lord, and a place in this house you will direct them hear for a meeting. It is my intent to see the masked lord rule this city and more, we just need the talent and innitiative to pull it off. If you agree to my terms step to the alter and swear it a pact visible to our masked lord as it will be him who determines failure and success. if not feal free to walk out now. As far as payment goes we will disscuss that if you accept also should you accept you will be given free access to most of the house."
Drejans hand goes to her forehead for a second as if in thought a message from the masked lord clearly ringing in her mind, her hand is removed seconds later her mission clear in her mind. sending a mental message to her Jeuvinile shadow dragon telling it to inform one of her commanders to prep the troops. It dissappears in shadow quite quickly to do its masters bidding.

Tath examined the interior of the temple with care, duly noting the glory that it embodied. Truly, this was the finest temple to Vhaeraun he had yet seen, and certainly it was the largest. He gazed in admiration at the statue of the Masked Lord, and smiled broadly for a moment before concealing it once more. He turned to the Matron, and sighed deeply.

"I cannot promise my sole dedication to your house unfortunately. There are many more houses I must seek, and perhaps some information I find may be important to them. By the same token, underlings I hire may also have house alliances of their own and they shall be unable to pledge fealty. Therefore, I must decline your offer partially. However, I will gladly aid you in your spying and research of the others in this area, and I shall also aid your ambition to conquer for Vhaeraun. If I find any talented individuals, I shall send them to your services as well. I have no need for retainers; I live lightly."

With a fond twitch of his lip, he trailed a hand along the intricate carvings and portraits of his Shadowed Lord. Remorse ran through him at being unable to tarry longer, but his mission from Vhaeraun superseded his mortal desires, and he craved further conquest before he could rest. He turned to the Matron and bowed deeply before speaking again.

"To show you my dedication though, I shall also provide you with some wisdom: There is another Qu'ellar that you should meet with as well, Qu'ellar Druu'giir. They control the magical trade of Au Shinduago, and to ally yourself with them would certainly be fruitful. Beware though; they are wealthy and powerful, and also very dedicated in their cause, so their hearts will not be easy to win over. However, as a Matron you will have somewhat greater ease winning their hearts than others. I suggest you attempt to forge some sort of treaty with them. I too shall be going there soon, so perhaps you would wish to accompany me? We could combine our offers, and thus make them more appetizing. What do you say?"
