Alright, in absence of Gen. Chang, I figured that I'd take this idea and toss it around with you guys, and the rest of the guild as well. I've noticed we have a large amount of gold in the guild's account now (Not the guild mule, the actual account), and pondered a new sub forum.
The new forum would be dedicated to earning gold, in essence. Where users can post the best ways of earning gold, asking for help, or even as a sort of exchange forum similar to the main Gaia Exchange, etc.
here are several options, however.
-We could opt to create a completely new sub forum
-We could add topics such as this to the "Hospital/Questing" sub forum
-We could add this to the "Army Surplus/Store Links" sub forum
Some examples of threads that would be put in here:
For Sale/Wanted Ads (similar to Gaia Exchange)
Aquarium Booty Grabbing Threads
Aquarium BG'ing Tips Threads
Gold Earning Guides (Your own, or useful ones you've found)
Any thread regarding earning or spending of gold, really.
If you are doing any sort of research into creating a guide of any sort, whether it be gold-earning techniques, vending, or aquarium-building(since this directly leads to booty grab gold).
Any other add-ons, suggestions, comments, criticisms etc are more than welcome. If it is decided to be wanted/needed, we'll also need a name.
My main reasoning is that 1) this could, potentially, benefit all guild members and that 2) we have a large sum of gold that is stuck to basically be spent of forums.

Very true. It seems even a 100k offer couldn't bring most of them back for more than a day.

I think the best way to get everyone back would be to have a site-wide town vs. town battle, but we don't exactly have control of that.

I'm not sure. I mean, yeah it sounds good and all, but then I have to agree w/ Aristaline that we might want to get a little more active first.

My question is: what do we WANT to do to stay active? I mean, there must be a million things we could do right now. ...and I'm still drawing the infirmary stuff, just give it a while. I'm busy because of club and JROTC duties, so I need to make time for this stuff. Anybody know a good planner brand I could use to straighten out my day? ...besides a Blackberry?

Uhh...iPhone? (that's pretty much the only thing contending w/ the Blackberry besides the Nexus & Palm Pre/Pixie, right?)

Try one of those day-to-day planers, maybe that'll help. (seen a bunch like that at a cheepy story by me a few times.)

Same here. I have to get my older brothers, sister-in-law and mother something for their upcoming birthdays. (Me and my brothers are born in the first four months of the year, and I think my s.i.l. is pretty close to that too.)
