Mashaka had risen early. He was excited for the day, he was looking for an adventure, to cause some s**t basically. He was still a young cub, and felt that he could get away with causing some problems, without getting into too much trouble. His one hope was that he could make it with out getting caught by his mother. Mashaka liked his new mother quite a bit and she was quite nice to him, though he had a feeling that she would have something to say about him causing havic around the pride lands.
Mashaka stayed to the shadows if the pride keeping his head low, if he could make it to the outskirts without being spotted he was sure he could have some fun today.
Though today was not his lucky day. Mizu had been taking more and more to watching the boarders of the lands as well as still being a raider to help bring up the slack of the still blossoming pride. She was currently walking around curssing under her breath about something or other as she passed about before growing quite before she ran off to circle the land a bit.
Mashaka was light on his feet as he made it to the boarders, he just missed his mother disapear to circle the land. He smiled to himslef, thinking he was in the clear. He looked around for something to do trouble to cause. He didn't want to do anything that would get him into too much trouble, He stood at the ridge looking down into the pride, he kicked little peppes over the edge and into the pride lands while he thought about what he wanted to do. His plan wasn't well thought out he was manly just looking at finding something fun to do.
Mizu circle around prettying getting upset as she started to run to try and clear her head. Finally stop stopped sighing heavily she began to walk slowly thinking a little more. "She young...its just an infauation...but she's TO young...and he's an adult and should know bettter...but he does seem to care?" He muttered to herself before shaking her head.
Mashaka had moved on to bigger rocks that he was now kicking over the edge of the ridge, he had decided perhaps he shouldn't kick them into the pride afraid he might hurt someone, so he had turned his body so that he was facing the other way, kicking them down, or at times pushing them, as he was running out of rocks that were small enough to just kick. He watched them fall down creating little dents all the way down.
mizu heared the nosey as she looked over seeing her son she sighed heavily as she sneaked down low to the ground before moving closer to him....closer still before finally pouncing him ."What are you doing little man!" She siad smirking a bit her mind fading away from Kana as she focused on Masha
Mashaka lept as his mother pounsed on him. Crap! he thought, well their goes any chance of a good time today. He tried to spreada smile onto his face, he knew thatchances were his mother wouldnt buy the innocent smile on his face. "I uh I was ummmm... " he was lacking the ability to find a good answer to explain his presence on the outer edge of the pride. "I was looking for Kana?" he offered with out a hope of his motehr buying it.
she rolled her eyes before leaned into him as she nuzzeled his neck. "Yeah right!" She said laughing as she pulled off him chuckling softly. "Your getting so big Masha..." She said seeming a bit sad by this.
Mashaka smiled his mother wasn't mad at him, she hadn't bought the story but there was no yelling obviously. "I am getting big" Mashaka smiled it was exciting to him that he was growing, he was getting closer to the size of his mother, he was still smaller and had quite a bit of growing to do but, he knew he was going to be a fair sized lion when he got old enough. "What are you doing up here Mom?" he asked
"Watching our lands." she siad with a nod as she stretched out a little before laying down letting herself enjoy a relax time so she could spend some time with her son. Mizu then looked into the pride lands looking over the edge curiously spying the rocks at the bottom. "Just what where you doing?"
Mashaka blushed, not that you could really tell threw his purple fur, he wondered if perhaps would be able to lie his way out of his acts, he then he decided that there was little to no way out of this, Mizu wasn't stupid. "I was pushing rocks over the edge to watch them fall." he mumbled quietly to her. It was probably rather stupid of him to be doing it, and perhaps he could have hurt someone, but it was fun, the damage they caused the sounds they made when they crashed to the ground.
She chuckled a little as she nudge one off as she peered over watching it fall. "SPLAT!" she exclaimed with the rock bursted into smaller piece when it hit the ground. She laughed a little shaking her head before looking to him. "I think you take interest in anything."
Mashaka laughed as his mother followed suit in his rock pushing game. "No I dont take interest in everything" he chirrped, "I uh I had no interest in my step mother, and I ummm I dont like I dont like boys" he told her, he knew it was kinda lame, but he had to prove her wrong, it was just howhe was.
She chuckled softly giving a nod. "Alright alight so not everything." she teased as she poked him in the side. "But you an easily make yourself no longer bored." She said with a smile. "An that skill there little man that means you have a good imagenation."
Mashaka smiled taking the prase from his mother, gigging when she poked him. "Thank you" he mummbled he was still getting use to being told nice things by girls, by actually caring what the women around him were doing, and what they thought. It was a big change for the little cub. He stretced and stood, "I guess I should head back down and in, see what Kana is up to." he told his mother.
She smiled and stood on her own feet. "Tell her to keep singing for me little man!" She yelled after him but didn't think he really heard her from having already gotten a good distance away. she laughed a little before looking to her feet frowning knowing she would soon have to kick her little boy out of the pride if he did want to stay.
