SOOOO.... I have a character, but I don't have a name for her. Help me pick one? She's slightly skittish, quiet, doesn't like to get involved or step on anyone's toes. She's full of questions that she never asks and likes to be alone when she thinks. She tends to hide her feelings, but easily trust others.

sarahbear890 How come only three letters? Because in a story there is a group called Hopeless. And when they make an alias they remove a letter from their name.
I have a guy character named Rune, and when he joined he changed his name to Urn (how depressing XD) so yeah.

I chose "Xiu".
Well, I supposed I should ask first: would that be pronounced something like "zee-oo"? Or some kind of that bastardized version?
Anyway, I thought it sounded like a quiet name, but also thoughtful and mysterious. It also sounded like a child's and an adult's name, so it can grow with her. 3nodding

quiet people that i know always have three-syllable names, and only very close friends choose to use a shortened nickname for them.
