Does anyone know what year you get to have a child in this game?
I'm married to Kathy and up to year 3 and still no child.
Also any tips on where I can catch a shark? I've maxed out my fishing rod and I still can't catch one sad

Well, how long have you been married to her? It's usually a couple seasons after the marriage before she gets pregnant.
Fish from East or West Gull Island and Toucan Island for the shark. Summer or Fall, I believe.

Yep, about two seasons after marriage, you'll get the pregnancy scene. One week after that, you get to choose the gender while praying to the goddess, and a season after the initial pregnancy event, the child is born.

Yeah, It really is two seasons. I just got pregnant after two seasons with Luke.
