Kumo looked around the area she wasn't sure where her feet had lead her this time. She sighed heavily as she sniffed out a watering hole moving over to it. She inspected the waters closely before she leaned over and began to lap at the water greedly. It had been some time she had last come onto any descent water that could be even considered good enough to drink.
Aang had to wonder how long it'd been since he'd had the chance to simply get away from the group for a bit. It wasn't that he didn't love his family and clan, but sometimes he just needed to get away and run. And it felt nice, feeling the wind run through his fur as he sped across the savanna. The cheetah grinned at the thought, skidding to a halt as he spotted a watering hole in the distance. He could use a drink right about now.
Kumo ears flicked about as a gush a wind moved past her bringing some intersting smells to her nose. She stayed calmed there was nothing to worry about with another feline sometihng to the waterhole...well usually. She turned to look at the male coming up quickly...to quickly for any lion she rarely came across those longlegged felines. She let out a small snarl but she decidded to play nice...for now.
It wasn't long before Aang was at the watering hole, and he quickly leaned down to take a drink. Running like that had made him quite thirsty, and he couldn't help his content sigh when he finally finished. And then he noticed the lioness nearby, and his ears flicked forward curiously. "Hello there!"

she blinked a little completely taken off guard by the male he was friendly. Usually people she meet weren't so. She looked to the ground at her front paws. She looked to one then the other waying her odd before her eyes raised back to the male as she gave a small nod. "He...Hello."
"Sure is slow around here today. You'd think there'd be more of us around here at this time of day," Aang said lightly, trying to strike up a conversation with the lioness even as he sat down.
She blinked a moment nefore looking around. "I wouldn't know." She said firmly as she sat down where she was after seeing him do so. Apparently he wanted to talk kumo could do that she liked doing that usually learning things you didn't know before hand. After all that is also how to learned things about yourself.
"Well, I just meant in general. I mean, this is my first time to this watering hole. I move around too much to really learn what's normal for any single area," Aang said lightly, shrugging his shoulders.

She shrugged a little as she looked to the sky. "I wouldn't know I don't usually go to a hole when others are around. Percautions most always be taken." She said in a mattor of fact way as she looked back to him a moment.
"That doesn't make any sense... I'd understand if you were in hostile territory... But the Rogue Lands aren't hostile," Aang replied, confusion in his voice.
"Maybe not for you...you can run fast." She siad with a small laugh shaking her head. "Its hard for a bulky lioness like me to just run away if there is danger about." She said before looking to her side letting out a small sigh. "Just...don't trust to much people is all. Been hurt alot in the past and I'm tired of it always happening." she said before looking back to him. She didn't understand it how she could be so open with him. Her lips twisted as she looked back to the ground. "Maybe I just need to let my eyes open a little more..." she spoke softly mostly to herself.
"Or maybe you've just met the wrong people. My life was rough when I was younger, but now... I'm surrounded by friends and family. I don't have any reason to look over my shoulder in fear anymore," Aang replied, grinning at the lioness.

She blinked softly as she looked to him a moment before smiling a little. "Family...I had that once." she said softly letting out a small sigh. "I really do miss them." she said frowning a little as she thought of her sister thinking she should go to see who she was. That's when it hit her the pain. She leaned forward grunting slightly as she closed her eyes tightly shaking her head. "Why dose love hurt?" she asked softly as she seemed to calm as she gulped a little as a few tears fell form her face.
"If I knew why love hurt... I'd tell you," Aang said softly, getting to his paws and padding over to nudge Kumo's shoulder comfortingly. "I got lucky once, but the lioness I love is in another pride. I visit her and my cubs as often as I can though."
She blinked softly looking to him giving a small nod. "Your luckly...the male I loved ran off to another female." She whispered softly before looking to her feet. "I think I should go find my sister...See how she is." She said softly as she stood. "Thank you...There's something very calming about you." She said softly taking a deep breath.
"Well then he didn't deserve you anyways. Any male who can't see such a gorgeous lioness like you isn't worth chasing," Aang said firmly, before grinning and playfully bumping his head against Kumo's. "No problem. You have a safe journey, alright?"

she giggled softly at his remark before blinking at the headbutt. She then nodded softly as she looked to him smirknig a little. "I'd like to hear more about your home though...a place where you don'thave to look over your shoulder. i think that be a good place to end up at."
"Well, I'm not quite home yet. But we're close now... The lands I live in are called the Arba'Sehemu. It's a place where everyone is welcome and you can always find somewhere to fit in. There's four clans, each of them dedicated to a different element," Aang explained, falling into the role of the Avatar as easily as if he'd been doing this his entire life. "I'm part of the Air Nomads."
She nodded softly smiling a little as she began to walk off. "I'll remeber that!" She siad before she stopped and turned back to the cheetah. "My name! My name is Kuroikumo!" She yelled out to him before she turned to keep walking.
"I'm Aang! It was nice meeting you!" Aang called back, grinning and flicking his tail happily. He had a feeling that he'd be seeing this Kuroikumo again some day.
