++What are shillings?++
Shillings are the currency in Lords & Legions. An empire is only as strong as its economy. Lords will need to keep their economy flowing if they want to prevent a collapse. Each lord is given 10,000,000 shillings when they start out and each member is given 500 shillings when they join.
++How can I use my shillings?++
You can use shillings for many different things depending on what your interest are. Lords may want to spend money on empire and army expansion. Knights would want to spend money on weapons and armor. A mage would want to buy many spells and potions. What you chose to spend your shillings on is up to you. You may not even want to spend that much shillings and may want to save up as much as possible to become the richest person in the game. Whatever you decide to do remember that the choice is yours!
++What is a Marketplace?++
There must be at least one marketplace in each empire. Each marketplace is cared for by the lord that owns it or a merchant (merchants are generally the person who bought the market. The owner can decide to hire people to help keep up with the market). They are responsible for making sure the marketplace rules are followe. The marketplace is where people of the empire can buy or sell items, potions, and weapons/armor.
++What are the Marketplace rules?++
1) Each empire must have at least one operating marketplace. It is the lord's responsibilty to enforce this rule. Marketplaces are not free and must be bought. (The price is 5000 per market)
2) The Market must be updated whenever a transaction is made. If the player(s) that run the marketplace are not availible they must close the market and reopen it when they have time. Penalities will be enforced upon people that do not operate their markets properly (Not updating their stock, false transactions/stock numbers, not opening and closing properly, etc.)
3) Only the lord of the empire can impose taxes on items. The way taxes are collected and enforced are up to the lords.
[Hint for lords: Taxes are a good way to keep the circulation of shillings moving in your empire, however you must keep in mind that if people don't like the taxes they can call for a rebellion or leave your empire. Be careful not to abuse your power]
++So what happens if I falsify my shillings amount?++
Falsifying the amount of shillings you have is against the rules of the guild and is a banable offense! There are no second chances! Whenever any type of transaction is made with your shillings, updates must be made immediately. If you do it we will find you and you will get banned.
++What is the Building Price list?++
Lord's Lair: 250,000
Place where the lord/lady resides. He or she can use this place to summon followers of the empire, meet with other lords, or just relax. Each lord is required to buy one.
Important Structures: 50,000
Army Barracks- in order for an empire to have an army they will need this building.
Alchemist Academy Division- in order for an empire to assign official spells for people of their empire, they will need this building.
Mission Center- this building is needed for lords to assign missions to their followers.
Marketplace- see above.
Additional Structures: 10,000
This is for any additional structures in the empire.
Housing:
To make a small house that consist of at most 200 words it will cost- 500 shillings
To make a medium sized house that consist of at most 500 words it will cost -1,000 shillings
To make a large house that consists of at most 1000 words it will cost- 5,000
