Jagged Canyon
As its name implies is a canyon where rainfall has caused the rocks to form in sharp jagged edges.
It is dry as a bone at the bottom and dark as night.
Getting down is easy, simply take the path that winds down, but getting back up is no easy task as the path that leads down is far to smooth to scale up.

((Just giving the heads up, this is how I will set up my missions oh and since this is their first mission it should be better for them to start out slow and easy at first rather then have every single thing hit them all at once, hope It doesn't affect my grade. . .))

“So let’s see. . . All we have to do is save a Pidgey from a place called Jagged Canyon . . . the client’s on the ninth floor, so we should be done in a flash,” Czar said to himself while picking up the flier from the bulletin board, he looked at the mission details carefully; making sure that this is an easy quest since this is their first mission, (Still though. . . I’m pretty nervous. . . But I know I can do this with one of my friends, I just need the courage to go with it.) While he read through the mission details, a Riolu with white fur approached the Charmander as he was curious on what he was reading. “Hey Czar, what are you reading?” the Rolu asked Czar in a happy tone,” Czar looked away from the flier and looked at the Riolu, smiling at him he told him “Ah Lucas, I was just looking at the mission board. I found one that should be easy for us,” Lucas’s eyes began to sparkle as he was jumping about, “Really?! Awesome! So, where is it? Come on, don’t leave me hanging!” Lucas asked Czar while looking at him. “It is called Jagged Cavern, from the looks of it, it is a 10 floor dungeon while our client is on the ninth floor, all we have to do is just save our client and we’ll be done, and the best of all, It’s a quick one: we’ll be done before dinner, so Lucas I want you to get ready and primed for this one, It’s our first mission and hopefully, get us noticed that we’re a good team,” Czar told him while walking off, looking at Lucas running away from the area, he laughed a little while he sat down; waiting for him (He surely hasn’t changed. . .) after a few seconds of waiting, he saw Lucas again, wearing a brown bag with a blue flap and a green strap along with a white buckle. “Well come on! Better prepared then nothing right? Well see ya!” Lucas told him while he ran off to the open fields, Czar Saw Lucas ran off while laughing; (He really didn’t change, that’s good. He’s a friend to me, no matter what he is.) Czar thought while he sighed and smiled, “Hey. . . Wait for me!” Czar told him as he ran off to the open fields as well; laughing by his best friend (This is my first mission; I hope everything goes right, I know you’re with me right mom & dad? Not in presence, but in heart.)

“So this is Jagged Canyon. . .” Czar looked down the canyon, he saw the many spikes formed from rainfall, and how deep the canyon is, looking around he saw a flock of Aron, Geodude, Cubone, Marowak, Onix, & Machop, walking about in the canyon deep below, Looking at his Friend behind him he sighed deeply (I know I’m going to regret this. . .) “Lucas, I’m pretty much at a disadvantage here; we’re dealing with rock and ground types which pretty deadly to me, so. . . for today, I want you to lead.” Czar told his friend, Czar looked at Lucas as he went slowly from not paying attention, to smiling a little, then in an excited mood. “You can count on me Czar!” Lucas saluted him as he went into the canyon first. Czar stared at Lucas descending down the canyon. (We’re doomed, no . . . I shouldn’t think that, yes I should stay positive. . .) Czar smiled as he followed Lucas deep within the canyon trail.

“Alright, stay close to me Czar, and I’ll guide us to the client.” Lucas excitingly told Czar as he looked all around the room they descended into; “Alright. . . An empty room with no foes, from the looks of it, there’s three hallways we can use to traverse to different rooms, let’s search the rooms and head to the stairs.” Lucas told Czar as he nodded before entering the first hallway, Czar took in a defensive position while looking around the canyon walls, was amazed at the fact that so many spikes were made from just rainfall and not from pokemon activity, “This is pretty amazing, I mean, how this canyon was made. . . normally in order to form spikes of this caliber and size, there has to be both annual rain fall and pokemon activity,” Czar told Lucas while walking close to him. “Yeah, In order to make spikes like these from just rainfall, it would of take at least 10 years,” Lucas quickly exclaimed while entering a room, “. . . No stairs here. . .” Lucas went inside for a few moments before exiting out of the cavern, “It’s pretty surprising that there are stronger forces here then back in our home land. . .” Lucas looked through the second room, he gazed around and found an black spot on the right hand-side of the room. “Alright we have stairs.” Lucas told Czar, “Alright. . . Thank goodness, no pokemon encounters,” Czar felt like he could breathe again as he took a few breaths, “Yeah thank goodness, but don’t get sloppy now, we still have eight more floors to traverse through, and I don’t want you to panic too much, alright?” Lucas told Czar as he walked down the steps. “Right. . .” (when did Lucas show this much leadership? Is it instinct?) Czar shrugged it off as he descended down the stairs along-side Lucas.

After descending down the stairs they spotted a Geodude at the side; as if he’s ready to attack the pair, “Step back Czar, I’ll handle this one,” Lucas stood in front of the Geodude while his paws began to glow a dark blue color, he sets his hands close to each other while the colors began to swirl around each other into an dark blue ball. “Aura sphere!” Once fully charged Lucas brought his hands forward and released a ball about a half size of him towards the Geodude, while all this is happening, Czar stood back; shocked. (What the, How did Lucas learned Aura sphere?!) Lucas saw the Geodude trying to stand back up, however the aura sphere was too much for him and fainted right there; where he stood. “No way. . . Lucas, how’d did you learn such a move like Aura sphere, I thought only Lucarios can utilize that move.” Lucas looked at him as he smiled, and admitted: “Well, while you were trying to raise money for your trip, I trained under a Lucario from an island not so far off, from there he passed his teachings to me, and well, this happens, and that happens, then pretty much I’m taking out rock pokemon with pea-shooter like aura spheres.” Czar couldn’t help but smile at him. “Well. . . If you would of told me earlier I would of let you lead this place earlier instead of just on the spot.” Czar laughed a little while Lucas laughed as well; knowing that he was just only kidding. “Well come on, the stairs are right next to the Geodude’s body, Czar nodded as they both descended down the stairs.

-Jagged Canyon F3

Lucas looked around the room again, The stairs weren’t around the area they’re in so they had to find the stairs Via traveling the tunnels. While walking around the area, they were blocked by a Machop, looking at the pair, the Machop cracked his knuckles and went into a battle stance. “I’ll take you on,” Czar went in front of Lucas, and unleashed a flame thrower attack at the Machop, the Machop was burned, but he cut through and did one desperate attack, “you’re good, too bad it just wasn’t enough.” The Machomp grabbed the Charmander and jumped up then downwards using submission, the move was too much for the machop to handle as he fainted on the floor. “ Crud, Czar you aright?” Lucas called out to Czar, The machop body moved aside as Czar pushed it away from his body and did a rising hand-spring as he rose himself back up. “Yeah. . . I’m fine, but that Machop was crazy, I mean, he just committed suicide. . . “ Czar stared at the Machop, “Well, that’s one less mess we’ll deal with in this dungeon, come on Lucas we can’t keep our client waiting.” Czar told Lucas as he began to walk towards the hallway they’re from. (It’s weird. . . I never saw someone do that before. . . ) Lucas stared at the body of the Machop before pressing on to the next room. “Alright stairs. . . Come on Luke, let’s get moving.” Czar called Lucas as he stopped in front of the stairs. “What did you call me?” Lucas asked Czar in a funny tone, “Luke. . .” Czar nervously said to Lucas, “Fine I’ll let it slide, but next time I won’t falter into hitting you now, you know how much I despise the name Luke?!” while Lucas is going on about Czar calling him Luke, Czar sighed while he looked slightly to his left and noticed a Onyx slowly rising up, “Um. . . Lucas,” Czar tried to warn him, but failed as he said to him “Don’t you be interrupting me! I’m not the one who’s about to be a dead man-“Czar interrupted him as he said “However if you don’t listen to me right now you’re about to be a dead man!” Czar turned his head to the awakened Onix as it roared through the canyon floor, “Stairs now! Lashing later!” Czar grabbed Lucas and threw him down the stairs as he quickly descended after him.

“Phew. . . That was close. . .” Czar took a deep Breath; knowing that the Onyx won’t hurt them now since the hole’s too small for him. “Alright Lucas I get it, hate the name, and for that I apologize, no hard feelings?” Czar asked him. “. . .Sorry Czar, I let my emotions get the best of me, If I haven’t done that, then maybe I would of paid attention and kept quiet,” “Lucas it’s not your fault, it’s mine, I should of remembered that you hated that name, well it doesn’t matter, we’re half way there, so let’s get moving.” They both nodded as they continued on their way to finding the client.

Jagged Cavern summary F4-F8

For the next few floors Czar and Lucas traversed through out the cavern, with every step in that cavern, they noticed that the air is not as wet as it was in the previous floors, they knew that the deeper they have gotten, the drier the air and the area it gets, however they pushed that aside and continued moving since the dry air and areas didn’t really affect them much, except for the occasional attempts to find water and such. While traversing through the floors they were attacked by Geodudes and Machomps alike, the battles were rough, but luckily they came out of there Unscathed, Well for Lucas at least. . . But in their hearts they wont give up, so they press on, and they won’t stop until the job gets done. . . or their belly gets empty.

“Well, this is it. . . the stairs leading to our client should be towards that wall," Czar looked at Lucas; who was finished searching one room. "hm. . . I don't get it, usually there's some sort of evil that surrounds us," "Like what?" Lucas asked Czar in a confused tone, "Well. . . i don't know, like traps, or strong pokemon. . ." when Czar stepped into the next room, four to five aron's bursted out of the room; ready to attack them both. ". . . Or an ambush, Monster house!!!" Czar yelled out as he move up to let Lucas go in. "Czar, I'm right behind you," Lucas jumped beside Czar; ready to retaliate as they covered each other's back, while being surrounded, while looking at the Aron, they began to glow green; using iron defense to increase their physical tolerance. "Well, it doesn't matter now, Czar, you want me to handle this alone, or you want to tag along?" Lucas asked Czar as they looked in different directions, "Tch, isn't it obvious?" Czar replied to Lucas, "Nothing ever seems to bother you, well. . . do you think we can handle this bunch?" "heh. . . one more, then we could have a problem in our hands." After nodding, they charged towards the Aron in their respective directions and began to attack the Aron, "Force Palm!" Lucas attacked one of the Arons using force palm, "Flame thrower!" Czar breathed in air, and released a line of white Fire at the Aron, while the battle's going on Czar was slapped with mud; the Aron he's facing fired off a Mud-slap as a final move before fainting as it reduced his accuracy of actually hitting pokemon." Ah. . . I can't see!" Czar reverted from using Flamethrower, to Aerial Ace as he cut through some of the Aron, but not hurting them. "Czar, calm down it's only a temp-" He was speaking to Czar; only to get slapped in the face with mud; he was also hit with Mud-slap after he downed another Aron which caused him to miss more often, "Ack, mud. . ." Lucas began to fire off force palms in different directions; missing most of the time, the Aron snuck from behind and used the move Headbutt as Czar and Lucas felt the blows, which caused them to set themselves towards a wall close to each other, they wiped off the Mud from their faces while they looked at the Aron closing in on them. "Great, what should we do now, we're doomed. . . Doomed!" Czar said, while the Aron began to laugh at the pair, However, to Lucas, he was just only kidding. "Well. . . What do you suggest?" Lucas asked Czar, "Well. . . Maybe we should. . . I don't know, commit suicide," Czar stood up and charged at the Aron, Lucas followed him after wards, "hey you chumps, try this on for size!" They all yelled out while their paws and claws began to glow. "Aura sphere!" Lucas threw out an Aura sphere at the Aron, while it was traveling, Czar stepped in and fired off a white flame that soon surrounded the aura sphere, once it reached the center of the room, the Aura sphere exploded and scattered in the room; hitting at least two Aron; causing them to faint. After the attack they were breathing heavily before calming down. "Did we get them all. . ." Czar looked at Lucas, which he looked pretty okay, looking behind Lucas he noticed that one last Aron was still standing, however it looked like he's channeling something; which caused Czar to stare at him, Looking at Lucas he noticed that above him, many stones were on top of Lucas's head and began to crash down on him, "Look out!" Czar pushed Lucas aside; taking the hit as Lucas rolled and saw the Aron responsible for the attack, as a result he fired off a Aura sphere; knocking the Aron out. "Czar!" Lucas dashed to the pile of rocks; removing the stones one by one, It wasn't long when the stones moved on its own and Czar dug out of the hole. "You ok?" Lucas asked Czar, ". . .I'm hurt. . . but I can still go on." Czar said to him; dusting off the rocks; showing a few scratches on his body, but he still stood. "I'm not giving up that easy." he laughed a little, "Besides, if I'm down, who's going to watch your back and guide you from the stray and dangerous paths?" "yeah, you got me there," Lucas laughed as he looked around the room. "Well, the client's down there, our client’s down there, now we faced a bunch of easy monsters during our travels here, including a monster house, but we shouldn’t falter now, for the sake of our client, let’s press on.” Czar told Lucas as he descended down the stairs. Lucas followed him after wards, while going down, he heard his stomach growled, (I’m getting hungry, oh well we’re almost there, since we’re close to the client’s location.)

“Alright Lucas, after this let’s get us some grub,” Czar told Lucas as they both nodded. “Alright, Let’s split up from here, I’ll go left and you’ll go right.” Lucas immediately went to the left, while Czar wasn’t paying attention, at the last minute he said to him. “Lucas, stop! We have to work as a team if we’re going to get this client,” Czar went after him, however he was shocked at Lucas who was floating in the air, looking at where Lucas was standing on, he noticed that the dirt around It was covering up a warp tile. “Lucas!!!” Czar tried to Grab him, but it was too late as he was sent flying towards another location within the floor. “Damn it. . . Lucas!” Czar went the other way; running through the right hallway, he knows that his friend is somewhere in this floor, and he has to find him, or else something might happen to him, however the few battles weakened him, and with Lucas; gained control of the bag, he has to move slowly but swiftly through the hallways.

-Lucas’s location-
Once landing on the floor, Lucas looked around to see if he can find out more of the location he was shifted into, after a few scans, he saw the Client in a corner on the east hand side where Lucas was sitting. “Hey buddy, don’t be afraid, I’m Lucas and I’m part of Team Ragnarok, we’re here to save you.” Lucas slowly walked close to the Scarred Pidgey; only to be tail slapped by an Onix, Lucas was sent flying towards the wall, but he quickly placed his feet on the wall to absorb the force and then landing back on the Ground. “Eh. . . Missions never tend to go easy on you. . .” Lucas shrugged as he began to charge up an Aura Sphere; ensuring a battle.

-Czar’s Location-
“Man. . . I’m pretty hurt, but it’s only sight damage. . .” Czar shrugged off the pain as he moved onwards, Looking around he looked through a few rooms; in search of his traveling cohort, after looking a few rooms he sat down; taking a breather before pressing on; he ran through the rooms; dealt with a few Arons who fell victim to Czar’s Metal Claw and Flamethrower combo, “Ugh. . . this is great, I’ll never find him now. . .” Czar quietly said to himself; hearing his stomach grumble. . . “Ugh. . . Hungry,” Czar felt like he’s going to pass out, when he heard a roar from the right hand side of the room he’s in. Standing right up he exited the room and began to head towards the room next to the one he’s in (I can’t pass out now. . . I have to get the client out of here, even if it means fainting in a dungeon!) Czar looked at the next room and saw a Riolu with Silver fur, and an Onix attacking him, “Lucas, I’m here!” Czar entered the Room using Aerial Ace and stood in front of Lucas as he defended him. “I won’t let you hurt my friend!” Czar closed his eyes and began to focus, while focusing he began to float in the air, so did a few rocks, Lucas, Onix, and the Client was astonished of what happening to Czar, After a few seconds of channeling Czar grunted as he sent the Rocks flying towards the Onix, first a couple of small stones, then boulders, and finally huge rocks began to hit the Onix, However, being a Rock type it didn’t really hurt the Onix much, however the battle with Lucas alone evened out the damage, and with the Onix not knowing any Ground type moves, the Onix wasn’t a treat to them. “Alright, let’s beat this thing, and get out of here with the client!” Czar and Lucas charged at the Onix; who left his guard uncovered as they jumped towards him with both Caws and Paws glowing. “Metal Claw!” Czar yelled out while Lucas yelled out “Force Palm!” the attacks impacted the Onix as a small explosion hits the Onix, and Debris began to fly in different directions. Once the Debris stopped flying about, they saw the Onix they faced against; only with dizzy eyes. “I see those dizzy eyes, which means we won!” Czar told Lucas as he said, “Oh yeah! Who’s bad, we are!” They both high-five each other as re-entered the room with the Pidgey Client. “Phew. . . Took awhile, and a few unsuspecting surprises, but hey, first mission well done?” Czar asked Lucas; giving him a thumbs up. “Yup, now come on, let’s get out of here, I’m starving,” Lucas gave him a thumbs up as well; carrying the Pidgey client, “Right, well before we go, hand me a oran berry will you?” Czar asked Lucas for an Oran Berry, Lucas dug in the bag and pulled out a Oran berry as he gave it to Czar, “Just in case I need to eat now, or when we eat at HQ.” Czar said with a laugh as he got the Badge from the bag, raising it high, they escaped from the dungeon; client rescued

((Side note: I skipped a few floors, rather then just go through the same thing over and over again. . . But I kept track of the Belly meter, BTW if I counted wrong and I ended up with Zero at the end, Czar eats an oran berry before they enter the 9th floor.

EDIT: added in a monster house on the 8th floor))

As they returned to the Guild, the Pidgey thanked them profusely and handed them 500PD and a Royal Gummi before leaving.

Soon after, two Pokemon arrived, looking for Team Ragnarok; a Geodude and Machop, and the team could choose only one to join.

"Well, that's all there is to it, now let's get some grub," Lucas heard his stomach growling as he patted Czar's back, "A job well done," As soon as Lucas looked away from Lucas, he noticed that there are two pokemon facing the pair, " Hey, it's you; the one who I knocked you out in one blow, and you, weren't you the one who performed a hari-kiri to Czar? What are you guys doing here?" Lucas heard both their stories as he came into a conclusion, "Hey, Czar looks like we have some potential recruits." Lucas told Czar.

"I see. . . Well, Lucas since you lead this mission, you can get to choose, and I'll go with it; hundred percent." Czar said with a nod while looking at Lucas decide."

"Hm. . . Well, the machop, of course." Lucas made his decision. "What he did to you is not refined; commiting suicide in an attempt to defeat you. Well, I hate that in fighters, so that's why, for now on, you're going to be my pupil, I will teach you the honorable way to fight others," Lucas told him while the Machop step up to the pair, The geodude shrugged off and left.

"So. . . what's your name?" Czar asked him, the Machop opened his mouth; only to be stopped as they heard a roar out of the courtyard, "Come on let's go, you can tell me later." The Machop nodded as the trio escaped the board room, and into the courtyard.

~Trev~ ~Klash~ ~Urvine~

Team Room

Trev wasn’t a happy camper when Klash had interrupted his nap; as he looked at the Zangoose with annoyance. “Don’t you have anything better do than to wake me up?” he groaned as he rolled off the bed in their team room. “We’re going to head to the bulletin board, if we don’t get a mission soon than we're going to run out of money” Klash said simply, practically dragging the small Cyndaquil out of bed. Trev rubbed his eyes wearily, “Where’s my personal transport?” he was referring to their newest recruit, Urvine. “I think he went out for a walk..” said Klash, slightly troubled by the Torkoal’s disappearance. “Well, let’s find him because there is no way I’m walking around a dungeon with these stubby legs!” said the unenthusiastic leader as he stretched his arms and legs. Klash rolled her eyes, she didn’t much care for Trev using their recruit like this. Both of the leaders left their team room without a word, both were having mixed emotions about their upcoming mission.

Rooftop

Urvine had been quietly relaxing on the roof, which he had decided to make a regular thing. The gentle breeze brushing up against his shell, and the full force of the sun was a pleasant feeling. He couldn’t help but think about his old home near a volcano; it was always so warm there. The Torkoal’s daydream was interrupted by the sudden appearance of his leaders. “..Something wrong..?” he asked with a worried expression, his leaders had never come to find him before. Klash clicked her claws together, “We’re going to go for a mission, figured you would like to come,” she said in a serious but soft tone. Trev immediately gave a groan, still not pleased by the whole thing. Urvine nodded excitingly; a mission! He eagerly went up to his leaders and Trev hopped up on to his shell. “Let’s go…” he didn’t sound enthusiastic in the slightest, but at least he was willing.

Bulletin Board

The team arrived at the Bulletin Board, having no idea what they were supposed to do. Klash scratched her arm in thought as she tried to pick out a mission around their skill level. She reach up and pulled out a flier, simply reading: "U... Wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!". Well, isn’t that a strange name for a mission? She thought, showing the flier to her teammates. “This one seems pretty simple, just grab our client and get out,” explained the Zangoose. Urvine nodded enthusiastically and Trev examined the flier more closely. “That’s Jagged Canyon…isn’t that place filled with Rock-Types?” said Trev, realizing that his and Urvine’s fire attacks would be basically useless. They would be almost completely relying on Klash. “Yeah, but I’m sure I could take out any Pokemon that come our way,” she said confidently, It’s only eight floors…how bad could it be? She thought.

Jagged Canyon

Klash, Trev, and Urvine looked over the edge of the huge canyon. Klash kicked a rock down the side; the sound of it hitting the bottom was heard a few moments later. “Pretty high…” she said, and wished almost immediately she hadn’t. “What’s wrong Klash? Afraid of heights?” snickered Trev in a mocking tone of voice he often used around Klash. She looked like she was about to snap back but Urvine interrupted her, “There are stairs over there,” said the turtle Pokemon, nodding toward their left. Both the leaders nodded, and they made there way over to the stairs without another word. Trev was smiling at his temporary victory.

Floors 1-3

The team had took there last step on to the next floor; everything had been okay up to this point. “We’ve been pretty lucky, but keep your guard up” said Klash, her claws clicking nervously together the farther they went into the canyon. They kept walking to the next stone staircase, when suddenly a Geodude appeared to block their way. Klash stepped forward, “I got this” she said confidently. The Geodude put up lifted up his arms closer to his face to prepare for whatever the Zangoose was about to do. Klash’s claws began to glow brightly, “Crush Claw!” she charged at the Rock-Type; thrusting her claws downward at the hovering rock. Geodude dodged easily by simply side-stepping; causing the claws to crash into the ground and get stuck. “Damn it…” swore the Zangoose as she attempted to pull her claws free. During this time, the Geodude was preparing to launch a Tackle aimed for the larger Pokemon’s side. Klash swatted the Geodude away with a mild Slash attack with her free hand; causing the Geodude to crash against the canyon wall. Trev and Urvine were watching the whole scene unfold in strange calmness. Trev didn’t move because Klash said she had the situation handled, and Urvine didn’t move because no one told him to.

Klash couldn’t help but be a little annoyed by Trev and Urvine’s lack of assistance, but she understood that their Fire-Attack were useless here. “Quick Attack!” she suddenly began to move at blinding speed toward the Geodude, catching him off guard with an uppercut. This sent the small rock Pokemon hurdling upwards, and Klash waited for it to come back down to earth. Before the Geodude crashed into the ground, the Zangoose prepared for another attack, “Crush Claw!”. She smashed her claws into the Geodude’s side, sending him crashing into the canyon wall. The Geodude struggled to recover, but eventually passed out due to his injuries. Klash sighed and looked toward her team, “Impressed?” she couldn’t help but smirk at her leader. “Maybe if you didn’t get your claws stuck in the ground on the first attack…” Trev mocked, obviously not wanting to be beat by Klash. “Besides, it was just a Geodude” he added before signaling Urvine to turn continue walking toward the next flight of stairs. Klash gave Trev a face but followed behind them. Urvine simply wished that they all could get along.

Floors 3-6

Much like before they arrived at the last step to the 6th floor. “Almost there,” Trev said in a bored tone, he wished that the mission would just be over already. “What are we getting out of this anyway?" He asked his co-leader. Klash held up the flier to she had kept tucked away in the small pouch she wore, “Fossil Bone, which could heft a good price” said the Zangoose, wondering what they would ever use a Fossil Bone for besides selling it. Urvine wondered what a Fossil Bone tastes like while Trev groaned. Suddenly, Klash gave a motion to stop by holding up her hand, “Did you hear that?” she said, looking around the canyon on full alert. “Hear what?” replied Trev, now looking around for any signs of danger. Urvine was more concerned on why the butterfly on his snout flew away. They would be surprised when a giant snake-like rock Pokemon crash landed right in front of them.

The Onix crashed into the ground, causing the whole team to fall on the ground from the mini-earthquake. Klash was the first on her feet, and Trev was trying to get Urvine right side up. The Onix attacked without warning as it charged at the group at full speed splitting them up as they both dodged to different sides. “Crush Claw!” Klash at stabbed a claw into the Onix’s side as it passed, causing immense pain as she was pulled along with it. Trev and Urvine had pressed themselves up against the canyon wall as they narrowly avoided the rock Pokemon. Meanwhile, Klash was slowly making her way to the Onix’s head by stabbing claw after claw into it. The Onix seemed to be flinching every stab, and soon it began to attempt to shake the annoying pest free from it’s back. Klash was thrown against the ground in front of her team, groaning at the mild pain in her back. “I’m going to need some help with this one…” she said to the group as the Onix came charging back. “Smoke Screen!” the whole group was now covered in a thick black smoke; making the whole group nearly invisible. The Onix charged on regardless, only to end up crashing headfirst into the ground. The large Pokemon was stunned temporarily by the unexpected impact, and shook his head in an attempt to get out of his daze. During this time, Klash had charged up the Onix, “Close Combat!” she got several hits on the Onix’s head before it came to it’s senses and head but the annoying Zangoose against the canyon wall. Klash was on knocked unconscious on impact.

Trev and Urvine went over to the Zangoose, glad to see that she was still breathing. “Quick,Urvine, put her on your back” Trev ordered as quickly as he could. The Onix seemed to be recovering, so they had to act fast. Urvine did as he told; grunting slightly under Klash’s weight. “We need to get out of here, when I use Smokescreen, you use Smog” he told the Torkoal before facing the Onix. “Smokescreen!” “Smog!” the whole 6th floor was now covered in a thick smoke; making it almost impossible to see anything. By the time the Onix came to his senses the whole group was gone.

8th Floor

Trev was leading Urvine, who still had an unconscious Klash on his shell, around the 8th floor. They had no idea where their client was but they were keeping their eyes open. Trev could see a faint light a little further down inside of a small cave, possibly a fire. He lead Urvine to the cave to see a Cubone hunched over a fire and shaking uncontrollably. He jumped as he saw the team at the entrance, and sighed when he realized they didn’t want to kill him. “A-A-A-Are y-y-y-you a R-R-Rescue T-Team?” said the Cubone in an uncontrollably shaky voice. The leader nodded, showing the frightened Cubone his Rescue Team badge; which shined in the light of the fire. Cubone looked extremely relived and was getting his bearings slowly but surely, “Thank Arceus! I’m Scrap, I came down here to look for some berries…someone told me that there was some super rare one’s down here…” he looked down at the fire, realizing that he was probably lied to. “Well, it’s okay now…we came to rescue you” Trev held out the badge, teleporting poor Scrap back to safety. “Let’s get out of here” he told Urvine, when suddenly the ground began to shake and the sound of rocks brushing up against the ground could be heard. “Oh no…” said Urvine before the Onix from came crashing into the cave entrance. Thankfully, the Onix’s head seemed to be lodged in the entrance; which gave Trev enough time to come up with a plan .”Urvine, put Klash against the wall” said the Cyndaquil as they worked there way around the fire. Urvine did as he was told while Trev got out an Oran Berry and popped it into Klash’s mouth. The Zangoose popped awake almost immediately, suddenly full of energy and ready to fight. Klash ran up to the Onix, “Close Combat!” she shouted, stabbing the Onix with her claws repeatedly. The Onix was knocked out by the constant blows a few moments later. Klash was breathing heavily, feeling like she could sleep for days, “Where’s the client?” she asked. “We already got him to safety,” explained Trev, “We can leave now”. Klash stood next to her group and Trev held up the badge, teleporting all of them back to safety.

Back in the City, just inside of the Main Hall
"Thank you guys so much!" Scrap seemed to be feeling much better now that he was out of the canyon, and especially far away from it's denizens. Scrap produced the promised Fossil Bone seemingly out of nowhere and handed it to Klash. Scrap spoke resolutely, his frustration with the canyon apparent. "I never wanna go back there again!"

Then he stopped for a moment, raising one hand to his face and stroking the end of is skull-helmet thoughtfully. "But... going with you guys wouldn't be so bad. Would it be alright if I came with you?"

Additionally, the earlier-defeated Geodude rolled into the hall. The Onix tried to come in as well, but his head got stuck in the door. The pair wanted to join the team, but of course only one recruit could be taken at a time.

((Nice fight scene, definitely well done. Your writing could use a bit of improvement overall, but there's nothing specifically lacking in it besides experience.))

Trev took the Fossil Bone from the Scrap's hands, looking around at the possible recruits. Klash probably would of immediately chose the Onix because of his enormous size; but she was currently passed out on top of Urvine's shell. Trev just didn't see an Onix recruit very practical considering his large size. The Geodude didn't really seem all that great other, considering he was beat by Klash fairly quickly. The Cyndaquil nodded toward Scrap, "You can come with us," he said, the other recruits seemed disappointed. "Don't worry though, you guys did great" Trev tried to assure the rock types, and they seem to perk up a little bit. "Let's head back to the team room" he nodded toward Scrap and Urvine and they left the Main Hall.
