Welcome Lost Souls...A dark medieval style room with candles spewing purple flames lit all around a stone throne. The throne has the image of gargoyles on the armrest and demons on the top edge. It sits on top of a stone platform that has a stone staircase that leads to the gloomy throne. From the entrance to the throne is a long elegant purple rug that stretches across the distance. The lair is composed of many chambers and halls in which the pathways are dark and the end is not visible. If one was looking down on the place it would look like a stone coliseum, with many glowing purple lights around. ...You Have Been Found.

Kai sighed under his cloak. Walking towards the residence of The Lord of the Dark Empire ((It's a castle, right?)). It was raining, not too heavily, but enough to be slightly unnerving. As he kept moving along. He came towards the entrance of the lair. This was it. he finally would get to be part of something bigger. There was two large guards in meatal armor, and they would not let him pass without permission from the one inside. He just stared at the guards, his face hidden in his cloak, waiting.

Lord Jinsoku Fuzen was in the very top chamber of his gothic, coliseum-style castle. The chamber had the same of a large circle with long stained glass windows on the walls of the room. The area was huge and had a ceiling that was high enough to fit a dragon or two inside. Except for the elaborate windows and decorative gargoyles on the brim of the ceilings, the room was empty. While in the top chamber, Jinsoku was focusing on sharping his senses through deep meditation. As he sat Buddhist Monk style in his classic training garments, an all black karate gi, his Kuro Kotogara began to circle around his body while growing quicker and stronger. Jinsoku's eyes slowly opened, even from way up top of the castle he could sense the presence of one of his followers coming to the castle way before he arrived. Using his black matter he levitated to his feet and began to walk down to his Lord's chambers to get changed. After getting back into his normal clothes, Lord Fuzen gave the signal to the guards to let the man in. As Jinsoku sat on his throne, he waited for his visitor to come in and tell him what he wanted.

Kai nodded to the guard, who said that the lord was ready. Kai walked into the chamber, cloak still hiding his face. he did not bother to look at the scenery just walking towards to Lord and stopped once he was in his line of sight. He gave a quick bow, then began to speak. The slight fear in his face was hidden. "My Lord, I wish to enroll in the Alchemists academy and join your army as a soldier." he waited for a response.

Lord Fuzen slouched down a bit in his throne to get more comfortable as he placed his elbow on the armrest and leaned over to place the side of his face comfortably on his fist. He blinked slowly and carefully studied the peasant. He could see the small traces of sweat trickling down his face and noticed the unsteadiness in his voice. The poor thing must be petrified. Jinsoku stood up from his seat and proceeded to walk over to his follower. The room was silent and the sound of his boots tapping against the floor echoed loudly in the corridors of the castle. As he got close to him, Jinsoku looked down on him and stare judgmentally in his eyes. "So you wish to enroll in the academy and join my army...quite the over achiever aren't you? Pas mal, mon esclave. Well, before I classify you as any rank, I will need to test you first."

Kai gave a silent gulp. He was trying to do his best to keep his composure. He was starting to gain better control. he watched the other man move towards him. His heart skipped a beat. After hearing him speak. he simply gave a slow nod of his head. A test could not stop him. He had gone all this way, and he wasn't to be shut down any time soon. His confidence was overpowering his fear, and he was becoming much mroe calm.

Jinsoku gave a evil grin as he looked down on him. His will power was strong but would that be enough to face what Jinsoku had planned for him? "Excellent. I believe that the only way to true see a warrior's skill is to see him in battle. To see how he reacts when he stares death in the soulless eyes. To see his vicious fury when he is left without options and gives it his all. Do you know what that means, mon ami?" Jinsoku's devilish smile grew wider as he placed his noble hand on the shoulder of his peasant and leaned close to his ear. There was a dark silence in the air that built up like a tight tension. "You see the rules are quite simple. All you have to do to pass your test...is kill me." Jinsoku flipped backwards in the air and landed in front of his gothic throne. He pointed to the far wall where his training weapons were. He then slowly drew his rapier from his side and looked down on the man before him. "I'll give you a 10 second head start before I try to kill you. Try not to die before 12 seconds past." Jinsoku couldn't help but to burst out in a wicked laughter as he looked down on the frightened man. "Good Luck!"

Kai's eyes were hidden under his cloak. But if one could see them, they would notice they shot wide open. He was supposed to kill this man. He was going to die! This was horrible. Thoughts simalliar to this ran through his head as he stumbled fairly quickly towards the weaspons. Barely scanning the wall, he quickly picked out a katana and unsheated it, holding it in front of him in a fighting pose. he was shaking slightly from fear. His confidence was close to zero.

Jinsoku moved with a speed that normal eyes could not follow. He sped quickly to Kai and within seconds he was behind him. Jinsoku put the blade of his rapier to the side of Kai's neck and smiled. He would have lasted 13 seconds if I was really trying to kill him. For someone without any official training...pas mal. Lord Fuzen put his rapier back into its sheathe and walked around Kai and to stand directly in front of him. "Very well. You have passed. Your will to survive seems strong, all we need to do is get rid of that dreadful fear in your eyes and you'll be a fine warrior. You may make your self comfortable in the barracks. Your lessons will begin as early as tomorrow, be prepared to die a couple of times." Jinsoku smiled as he looked down on him. "Welcome to the Dark Army."

Kai had the weapon in his hand, and next thing he knew he had a blade to his neck. After The lord let him live, he sighed in relief and bowed quickly. he was reliefed to be accepted. He was in the Dark Army! Hooray! he turned around and began to walk out after putting the weapon away, as everything was settled to his knowledge.

Kagetsuki walked into the throne room, noting the fact that Lord Fuzen hadn't returned here, and turned to wait for Lady Faia

"Brother!" Aiko called out into the empty halls of the lair. "Brother!!" There was no surprise in her brother's obvious absence. With nothing else to keep her interest in the lair, she turned and left to explore the surrounding area, a flicker of a shadow cat following her out.

Kotta Hashagu
====================================================
[[enter from Light Empire]]
Kotta had traveled with Amaya for quite a while before reaching the Dark Empire. While getting lost numerous times, Kotta was finally able to find the Lord of the Dark Empire. According to Seigikan, they were now in an alliance and Kotta needed to collect their insurance money. It still seemed a little weird to Kotta, especially since he wasn't that much into politics, but he shrugged it off and went on the mission.
Entering the building was quite creepy, as it was almost pitch black. Why did we have to come at night? There were few candles on each side, the room being lit by the purple flames that resided in each candle, but still having a sort of dark aura in it. Kotta had no clue as to where he was going, for the building was filled with many doors and corridors. He walked up to a random soldier and spoke in a kind voice. "Hello. Where may i find Jensiko....wait, no. Jinsoku Fuzen, the Lord of the Dark Empire?"

Amaya Shimizu
Kotta had gotten them lost multiple times before he and Amaya finally arrived at a very dark and sinister feeling place. From all the soldiers, how big the place was and since they were in the Dark empire, Amaya guessed that they were in the Lair of the Dark Lord. The place was unwelcoming and empty feeling. It was not at all like the Light Empire, where the sun shines and everything is bright and welcoming. Needless to say, she didnt feel at all comfortable here.
She walked closer to Kotta and looked all around, observing what was around her, thinking that maybe if she could take in her surroundings she would feel more at ease here. Amaya glanced at the soldier as Kotta asked where the Dark lord was, he cringed slightly as Kotta mispronounced the Dark Lords name. [[im just gonna pretend that our character told mine his name, jujube >.>]]
